Lhuysii nodded enthusiastically. It seemed to take her a while to respond once more as her eyes grew distant as she watched the falling leaves dance in the wind, and remembered, picturing in her mind's eyes the talented, dancing stallions she had had the pleasure to see before. She was sure. She was absolutely sure.
Finally, her eyes seemed to wander back to Raven, and the charming smile was back on her muzzle, "Oh yes. Yes yes! You should dance, Raven! The spirits seem to have blessed you with grace, it would be a shame to let that go to waste. Maybe you could even be a whistle stallion some day if you wanted to." Her crest rose with enthusiasm.
She clucked her tongue with a shake of her head, "You should listen to the nannies, though. And the keepers of the lore." She added with a wink. She hoped that the foals she spoke to understood and took to heart her lessons. Maybe having a skilled dancer like Raven to help with her lessons would help them remember.

Raven's blush had grown even darker. Then a thought came to his mind. "I could teach some of the foal the dance if they wish to join in. I mean we could make it like a miniature play for the nannies to show they are learning about the history of the flock." He brought up as he thought about showing a few of the foals how to dance. It made him sigh with a smile out loud before he noticed that Lhuysii had still been looking at him. He turned his gaze away. "I adore the little ones, but I could never have one of my own since I tend to stay away from the flock mares." He said honestly since he didn't want to be just a trophy stallion, not like his father. Raven had been luck to inherit both wings and claws unlike his siblings. He was a rare case to find from time to time. He thought back on him dancing for his mother when he was younger. It did seem to bring a smile to her face. "I'd be willing to dance and teach my skills to those who are willing to learn." He said with a bow as if he was giving her his very life. "I am your humble dancer." He added with respect.

"Oh oh!" Lhuysii practically bounced with bubbly enthusiasm, "I bet if the foals go through the movements as well, it will help them remember the stories even more! What a wonderful idea, Raven!" Lhuysii had a beautiful smile, but it was truly made by the almost innocent enthusiasm behind it.
"Why do you stay away from the mares? Have they not taken good care of you?" She asked, confused. "I bet you would be a very popular whistle stallion if you went that way."
Her tail rustled behind her as she smiled again, "And thank you again - I will be sure to have you help me with the lessons!"

"They'll have fun as well. I mean it'll be like a lesson with fun. Usually if it's something fun then they can learn it better and probably show their mothers." Raven added with a light chuckle. He was all about fun since he enjoyed to make others smile and laugh. He turned his gaze away at the question. He didn't want to disrespect her with his answer. "No they have taken care of me and I am truly honored to be born into the flock. But... the idea of being someone's trophy stallion has never sit in my mind that well. I've always dreamed to fall in love with a beautiful mare of the flock. I know it sounds crazy, but that's why I usually stay away." He said as he felt ashamed for his answer. He looked back to her with sad eyes. "I just would rather stay with one mare instead of go from one to another. I know that's not how it works, but a stallion can wish." He added as he tried to smile again. He had never told anyone of his dream, but it felt right telling Lhuysii. "Anything to help make the flock strong in the lessons and history of our home." He blushed.

"I think you're right, Raven. Too many soquili forget that fun is almost as important as training and pure learning. It can help anyone learn better." She smiled, "Oh this sounds like it will be so much fun! We can have the foals watch your dance after we talk about the fires, and then teach them how to perform the dance as well!" She was positively giddy with the idea, visualizing it once more in her mind's eye.
Lhuysii cocked her head, "That is a silly idea, Raven," She laughed, a bubbling note of honest amusement, "There is nothing wrong with being treasured. And the whistle stallions are able to get to know many mares. Though sometimes, if they're really good, one of the matrons might hold one with personal regard." She shrugged her shoulders, "And I know love, I love the flock - all of the foals and my sisters, and of course even our stallions. We're stronger than just two of us could ever be by themselves." She didn't make fun of him, she didn't laugh in a mean-spirited way, just was more confused by the idea as a whole. Certainly, she wasn't going to get him in trouble.
"But, who knows." She said again with a smile and a shrug.

Raven was shocked that she didn't make fun of his ideal. He blinked in surprise then smiled as he felt better about telling her. He nodded in agreement with the idea of teaching the foals about the fires. "What other lessons would we teach them, Lhuysii?" He asked as he wanted to learn as much as he could about the lessons. He never really payed attention when he was younger.

"Oh goodness, I don't even know!" She exclaimed, but smiled through it. "There is so much planning for each lesson, I haven't thought yet about what I'll teach them next. I don't want to push too much at them in one sitting or else they'll never remember." She smiled sheepishly.
"Even though I've dedicated myself to learning our customs and ways, the stories and the history, I.... well.... I didn't used to be the best student. If the teachers went on for too much longer, I'm afraid I'd get lost in my head, even though I do love learning so much!"

Raven chuckled lightly, "Well you can use me in any of your lessons if it pleases you, Lady Lhuysii." He said with a warming smile since he was becoming eager as well with more lessons to dance to. He nodded in agreement, "Maybe test them or ask them to answer questions after each lesson. Just to see which ones might have questions or if the lesson needs to be taught once more." He suggested cause if some of the little ones had trouble they could always ask questions.

"Oh it pleasees me very much!" Lhuysii tittered with a charming smile, "If it works, that is. I hope that the fillies and colts will pay attention to it. But I've seen that anything that teaches them in more ways than one helps them learn. Pictures and words and now dancing. I am sure it will be lovely."
"But yes, I'll certainly ask them questions aftewrards - make sure they're paying attention, after all." She chuckled.
"And they can ask them of me as well. But thank you so much, Raven! I will be sure to get your help in this!"
Frezir So sorry for the delay - my muse up and died for a few months :C
