 The God-Emperor of Mankind, Bour YingBour lowered his hand and laughed. "Look at you! I barely move and you're already cowering! Those are the actions of the weak!" Or the sensible. Depended on how you looked at it, really - doing whatever you had to in order to win was just another way of doing things, but that wasn't very important to him. As far as the God-Emperor was concerned, how and why you did something was just as important as what you actually did in the first place. He shrugged a moment later, then made a gesture with his hand. As before, another huge pillar of energy crashed down from the sky and onto the rooftop, blazing brilliantly as he fueled it with his seemingly inexhaustible supply of magical power.   Venustus Michieru, the Charmed PrinceVenustus flinched as the 'Emperor' blasted them with Almighty damage, it hurting considerably less since he had guarded it this time. He lowered his hands, panting a bit in exertion, before he drew the sword again.
"Sounds like a plan to me." he called, before the long demon blade appeared, and Gonryomaru appeared once more, moving his hands in a gesture.
"Ent!" the demon called, as the sparks from the Rai strike suddenly started to roar to life, burning away at Bour's Resistance to the element. Venustus himself Brandished the Sparking Electrical sword of Gonryomaru, holding it up with a glare.
"I'll take your eyes with this blade...." he called, falling into a practiced stance. "And when you're writhing in pain and Agony....I'll End your suffering."
Even if Venustus wasn't in his Atma form, he still was feeling a bit..Feral. It had been a while since he'd found someone that had the Virus...And could be......Dealt with in a way that was pleasing to his....Nature. A glint could be seen in his eyes as he taunted the so called Emperor, already picturing their victory.

Relika Ak'Thias "Venustus, don't! You losing you head is just going to get you killed!" Relika chided her partner, as she shook herself off from their enemy's attack. a squeezing hand falling on Venestus' shoulder, as the girl stepped past him, a stern look on her face, "If we have any hope of winning this battle we need to fight together as one." She turned her head back to look at Venustus, then to Haruka, giving a nod. "From here, follow my lead, Okay? You can do what you want with this one after the fight is over." She wasn't about to lose, and she wasn't about to let her friend get himself killed, lest the sacrifices of the resistance be in vain. "Unlock my element again, and we'll hit him all at once. Corielisa!" Asuka requested to Venustus, then commanded Corielisa, The feline shook it's head, collecting itself after the attack, before summoning a large font of energy, "I'm on it, Relika!" The energy turned into a giant sword, and shot itself toward Bour. Haruka Falcom, The Young Archer Haruka raised up her evoker again, and firing, before being covered in a flash of magical energy, enhancing her next attack. "I know what I gotta to do." The God-Emperor of Mankind, Bour YingMore of the God-Emperor's shining armor was blown away by the attacks, and he seemed to be weakening... particularly after his powerful boosting skill wore off. His shimmering aura flowed back around his body a moment later, closing and covering his weaknesses. It was, in fact, most of the reason he'd been able to survive all these years - his powerful Reason, coupled with the innate powers of the Tyrant-King and somehow mutated by whatever had gone wrong with his virus and allowed him to keep getting stronger. By now, even the Captains of the Embryon were considerably less than he... and oh, did he know it. "Hah! Hahahahahahahaha!" he slammed one foot down, forming a massive crater in the rooftop. "You haven't even learned the value of simply ending things. Pain isn't something you should be taking pleasure in. You... are absolutely pathetic." Quote: Bour Ying's barrier has been restored! Rough Footing: Bour's massive stomp has created rough terrain on the rooftop! If a character evades a spell, there's a two-in-three chance of falling Down and becoming vulnerable until their next post. Entities with flight are not affected by this.

Venustus Michieru, the Charmed PrinceVenustus didn't seem to react to the Emperor's laughter, watching him stomp out a crater, as he called out to them, calling him pathetic.
The boy didn't say anything, merely grinning at this. The Emperor's Electrical resistance was burning away at this, even if he was too blind to see it, and as Relika tried to assure him, and ask him to break the element.
"Sui!" the Demon called, before Bour's energy would start to fade, and his own strength enhancing. What was more of a thing though, is how Venustus turned to Relika.
"Relax, Relika." he called, before his Atma brand glew...and he shifted back into his Atma form, without dispersing the demon. Though he didn't Like having a demon out as he did this...He wasn't incapable of it. "I'm not nearly as lost as I seem....I'm just....."
He raised one of his two blades at this, as the wind resistance of Bour's was shattered, once more.
"Excited."
He didn't intend on tumbling around from the further attacks. He didn't intend on letting this guy live. and he Damn Well. didn't intend on losing. Even as the other sword sparked in his hand, he watched..and waited...
For his opportune moment to strike.

Relika Ak'Thias "I'm sorry, Venestus, I just don't want to lose you. We have a job to do." Relika said looking back at Venustus, before conjuring up her wind abilities, seeing their foe's resistances broken once again. "Now!" She called, thrusting her hands forward, followed by Corielisa, and then by Haruka. Haruka Falcom, The Young Archer Each of them sent a blast of wind of their own, Haruka's though, doubled in power due to her previous charge, the three forces joined together to cause one hell of an impact. The God-Emperor of Mankind, Bour Ying"Hmph. You travel through the Akarana Corridor, you know nothing about those you meet, and you immediately want to kill others." a slow, lazy smile crossed his face as the brutal attacks slammed into his body - weakened, as always, as they passed through the barrier surrounding him. "Why, you remind me of me when I was younger... narrow-minded, arrogant, selfish, greedy... and stupid." His aura of light pulsed and seemed to seep into his body - and far faster than any human should have been able to heal, his torn muscles knitted together, his damaged bones set, his skin grew healthy once again. It was nothing fancy, really. No awe-inspiring display of inhuman power... just a simple spell that all sorts of people could learn, but it drove the old idea home: when you were strong, you didn't need to be fancy. He hadn't survived this long by being easy to kill, especially not by a bunch of ten-for-a-yen rookies who couldn't even get their minds around the concept that behaving like children wasn't the way to win an argument with an adult. Relika Ak'Thias "I see..." Relika said to herself, going over a few things in her head. "Then why not test me?" She stepped out of her stance and stood up straight, her sword arm coming to rest at her side. "Relika...?" Corielisa spoke, turning her gaze to her summoner. "While I can't speak for everyone here, I have no desire to kill you. I can tell that you're a man of honor. What can one do to prove their strength to you?" It seemed a long shot, but if this man was so strong, and was able to heal himself, the chances of them winning were reduced. And Relika did mean what she said. Haruka Falcom, The Young Archer "H-Hey... What are you...? Haruka stood behind Relika still. She remained in her stance, but released an arrow she had pulled buck, but held it ready, should Relika's plan not work. Venustus Michieru, the Charmed PrinceVenustus merely sneered as the Emperor was talking to them, talking about how he was 'Just like him', when he was younger.
"Forgive me.." he sneered, even as Relika tried to speak to the man, with a regard to trying to 'prove their strength', and having no desire to kill him. If one was going to wonder why, it was because Gonryomaru moved to interrupt her, jumping on her to protect her from what the God Emperor would do. After all, he'd already given such disdain for women, purely by the way he had been glazing over her....As if she was a bug. As such, Venustus couldn't trust the man as far as he could throw him.
Gonryomaru raised his other hand at this, sending out another Surge of Electricity, not only enhanced by the fact that Bour's Electric Resistance had been shattered, his body weakened....And Gonryomaru strengthened as well by the last spell. Venustus himself lunged forth with his sword at this, aiming for a vicious slash with the Sparking, charged with electric blade. He didn't bother trying to tell Relika about what was going on...Or why he was progressing with continuing his assault. She was a good person at heart...Far too good for having to deal with the likes of the Emperor.....
If that meant Venustus was going to have to get his own hands dirty, so that she wouldn't.....
So be it.

The God-Emperor of Mankind, Bour YingThe powerful blade of electricity crashed into the God-Emperor's upraised arm, and he simply caught Venustus, then threw him backwards. "Once upon a time, I think I would've liked that." he said, tilting his head slightly towards where a beast had forced a woman down. "But it's pretty darn sad when even a woman can see the things you can't." he snapped his fingers, and an outline of what looked like scales momentarily covered his body. His defenses were high, his health was high... and if anything, he seemed like he was only getting started. He could never have survived for so long on his own world if he hadn't been able to manage at least this much. Venustus Michieru, the Charmed PrinceVenustus felt his blade connect, the sparks tearing into the Emperor with a lot more force than it had before. The sparks from Gonryomaru did so as well....Before he felt himself being flung backwards.
"Tch..." he called, before standing back up, and flicking his blade. He held his blade up high, preparing himself for another strike...before instead using his magic to shatter the Emperor's Wind resistance again.
At this, Gonryomaru moved his hands again, starting the sequence again.
"Ent!" it called, weakening the Emperor's resistance to Electricity once more. They had to ensure their strikes were hitting as hard as they could...
Venustus stood in front of Relika at this, brandishing his blade. He would protect her as well...even if it meant his life. Though things might have seen a bit bad from the others, he could tell...The Emperor wasn't as untouchable as he pretended to be. He was just another Atma, like him...

Relika Ak'Thias "I think I understand..." Relika reached her hand forward and touched Venestus' shoulder, "Venustus. This isn't the way." She knew that her ally wouldn't be convinced so easily, but if that was the case, so be it. She was still taking a chance, but judging by the Emperor's reaction, she was willing to take said chance further. She sheathed her sword and turned away, taking Corielisa's paw and leading her over to where Haruka was standing, "I'll trust you, Relika. But I'm still standing as your guard." Relika nodded, as Corielisa stood in front of her in her defensive stance, "Thank you, Corielisa." For now, she would stand, and wait to see what would happen. And should she be attacked again, she was ready to begin fighting once more. Haruka Falcom, The Young Archer "I... I'll trust you, too." Haruka said, lowering her bow, and placing the drawn arrow back into her quiver. She too would stand down for now. Quote: Relika and Haruka have lowered their weapons. The God-Emperor of Mankind, Bour Ying"Better." the God-Emperor growled, his anger starting to fade. "You can't protect a world with petty ideals and a lack of commitment. Right now, you're nothing but children." He narrowed his eyes, the aura surrounding him intensifying so much that he looked more like the sun than a human. Of course, that only worked one way, and seeing out was easy enough. For a few long moments, he considered. Then, finally, he laughed. After all, the thing about kids was that they were able to grow... and a world like this, with visitors from the future, would probably be doing better. In that case, the Mokou of this world would probably be safe... but there were other worlds out there, many far less lucky than this one seemed to be. "Don't ever lose your way." he growled. "Because if you risk this world and gamble wrong... I will be back." The light vanished, and the God-Emperor with it, returning to the Akarana Corridor to seek out other worlds that needed leadership in their time of need.
