Although she seemed to have calmed down somewhat now, it still unsettled him that she seemed kind of distant and he couldn't help himself but reach over to place his hand on her head and pat it affectionately. It was probably uncharacteristic of him really, displaying his affections towards her like this but he was already performing the act even before his mind even managed to process proper what he was about to do and stop it prematurely.

He smiled kindly at her, not at all intending to probe further on the glitches if she wasn't keen on discussing them. For now, he was simply content to remain in her company and bask in the relief that he had finally found her.

ShadowStalker finally looks up at him, wrinkling her nose up before she smiles "Promise?" she was asking about his question of coming to find her. Just having one pong she knew, was enough to ease her mind at the moment. Batting at his hand, she shakes her head before actually laughing "And I'm not a young mare anymore, you don't have to do that you know?"

He smiled wide when he saw the smile on her face. It had taken quite a bit out of him but it had all been worth it in the end so long as it was for her sake. "I give you my word. A War stallion never breaks his promise." He nodded, lowering his hand to slip it around her so that he could ease her gently into a partial embrace if she allowed it.
"I know. I've watched you grown up over the years into the fine mare that you are today though you'll always have a special spot close to my heart." He admitted sheepishly.

ShadowStalker smiles alittle before she slips her own arms around him to give him a brief hug. Honestly, she was glad to know he was well. Pulling back, she tugs on her hood to hide her face even more "I'm glad I have a spot in your heart then." she chuckles before pulling away. "You always have Kas." Patting and rubbing her back, he smiled at her as he pulled back before heaving a sigh at her next question. "I'm afraid that I haven't the foggiest idea other than our given role of completing quest after quest so far. I suppose that there's no other way for now other than to keep going and see what happens later on." He suggested with a small shrug.
"I don't suppose though that there's any way for us to switching sides..?" He then pointed out wryly, gesturing to her username on his screen that indicated that she belonged to the White Queen's faction. "I don't fancy crossing blades with you in this world and possibly drawing blood..."

ShadowStalker glance towards his name, chewing on her bottom lip. She forgot up until that moment he was on the other side. With a sigh, she shakes her head "None that I could tell, and we won't. I will not fight you." she wanted to make that clear right now, that no matter what. She would not fight him, she couldn't fight him. Closing her eyes, she stands slowly "I guess, we just continue on our different paths. Then when we get out, you come find me...okay?" she turns to look at him, chewing on her lip "I promise, I wouldn't freak out on you." It was as he suspected - they were stuck on their respective sides until this game was over one way or another. "I too have no intention of doing that even if it comes down to just the two of us on our respective sides eventually." He made known his stand on the matter as well, gathering his things as he stood as well. "Alright. Even if you did, I'll just give you a little head rub so you'll know it's me okay?" He gave her a smile as if to try to reassure her that everything would be okay eventually then gestured towards the exit with a slight tilt of his head.

ShadowStalker follows him towards the exit, before she pauses looking over his private message. She turns to him, giving a small smile from under her hood "You too..please stay safe." with her words, she turns as slips out of the tavern, heading out back into the forest to explore.
