He almost got run down by a strange bird with a shovel for a beak before he noticed the deadly silence descending on the woods. "Um..." Turning around he looked up, eyes widening at the sight of the giant winged creature. "HOLY s**t!" Scrambling he felt the first snap of teeth and almost hit the dirt. Clawing his way up he made his legs move and started to run as fast as his little body would allow. He could hear the voices again, thick and clogging his thoughts and his mind so tightly it was hard to distinguish between the right and the wrong and the good and the bad.

Shadowstep hadn't been traveling for long when he heard loud crashes coming through the forest. For a moment, the thought it was just Hulk being... Hulk. But then he heard a voice, heralding out a warning. Turning around, he saw a shadow of movement, then a flash of teeth. He recoiled back as the large jaws snapped down on him. His hp had taken quite a hit. "Kuso..."If it downed him that much in one strike, he didn't stand a chance. This much, he knew. Hissing under his breath, he turned and began to run. He had just began to run when he felt the jaws snapping him sharply from behind. It wasn't nearly as dire as the first strike, though. This time, despite how tempting the voices were, he kept running. Beware the Jabberwocky...
Hah, yeah right. the0racle felt like she had been on a roll lately, taking down mobs and dungeons. There was little anything could to do to stop her. But, there was something that froze her heart when she saw one great eye focus on her. She swore she could see the pupils dilate, and suddenly the creature was coming after her. the0racle ducked into the cover of trees, hoping that it would obscure her from view. The Jabberwocky did seem to be so easily deterred. It weaved its long neck through the trees, and almost effortlessly bit into her.

As he ran he managed to look over his shoulder once and noticed the creature was gone. His steps started to slow until he realized he could still hear it walking, stalking, whatever it was doing. Shuddering he pushed on but he could hear something else. He could hear voices he remembered, ones he shouldn't be able to hear somewhere like this. "Nonononono." Am was weak now, stumbling along, but when he came to the fork in the road, he took the right side almost immediately. He grasped the little bottle and drank it almost greedily, his heart pounding in his throat, and nearly wept in relief.
Then he kept running.

"It's coming!" They heard, but what was...Turning around, their eyes met with that of a giant shadowy menace and all they could do was freeze.
Obviously, when the shock wore off, DEDfeesh was running for their lives. They were fast enough in fleeing that they didn't receive anything serious in terms of injuries.
Why are all these things happening to them? At this point he found a fork in the road and quickly glances from side to side. Oh dear... uh well he'd just go left. He didn't really have time to think about it. As he continued to run he noticed an odd timer of sorts to once side and grabbed it before continuing along down path.

As she stumbled down the path, she forked right, nearly tripping over the bottle. Grabbing it, she downed it on the off chance that it would help. And it did - it gave her a second wind to continue on. Still, she knew it was coming behind her, and she sped up. He shouldn't have moved from the lake. Just stay around peaceful memories and an uncomfortable amount of water. There wasn't much time to dwell on this, as the massive creature lumbered towards him. It moved in an impossible way, with that strange neck of its.

And he had only five health points left.
Well, that was enough to move his arse, that was for sure. Even as he felt another snap of the fangs against his back--Burn stumbled, caught himself on a tree, shoved himself onward.
