Sorry for the late start, there have been some complications with my current living arrangements that interfered with my online access. I believe I've ironed out the details now though so I shouldn't lose too much playing time.

It's fine, and you're not that late. Just wanted this big event I just posted to go through. Now, don't start freaking out on account of your lack of capable running skills. I'm not goona get you nor L'Tisha killed off so both of you just try your best to GTFO. Oh, welcome to Planet Bruzaxuc IV. You'll learn to love it here I think.

Before I post Lia's action, I want to be sure I understand - she's in the side being attacked, sick as can be, and can only move one module. Wouldn't it make sense for her to head "west" into the VIP quarters to get away from the attack?

Wouldn't it make sense for her to head "west" into the VIP quarters to get away from the attack? It would, yes. Very much. You'll get the full five modules next round so don't worry you still have a chance to get out. Had you been a little more sick it would only be four moves in the ship. Daemon got really sick so he's stuck with three moves.

Just a heads up, I'll be doing rolls to see how much damage the ship takes and where, so it would be a good idea to say which ship module you end your movement in. Thanks biggrin

post was kind of short this time. I would guess the ship and scout crafts are equipped with weapons systems? If not, I may have to edit my post. Also I believe I ended right before entering life support or right after entering the hanger. As a pilot my room would be in the VIP sector right before the flight control deck right?

Thanks biggrin So, like Shade asked, does the ship have any sort of weapons/defenses we should be using or were the designers arrogant enough to assume there's no such thing as aliens? Also, am I reading the implied direction right that the plan so far is basically to herd everyone to the hangar and then. . . what? Outside?

Lia and many civilians are in the second-to-rear-most VIP quarters module.

Also, am I reading the implied direction right that the plan so far is basically to herd everyone to the hangar and then. . . what? Outside? Vay... Are you implying you'd like spontaneous combustion? I can make you combust spontaneously if you'd like? ;D I'm sure a dinosaur would be willing to help you out with that fire. Joking aside I do understand how the excess oxygen would make for larger plant and animal life lesser chance of bacterial infection, etc. etc. I adjusted the wildlife rolls accordingly so don't you worry ;D You'll get to play Sound of Thunder. Just don't go back to the future or you might get the spontaneous combustion you were looking for. Well, there's an armory with most types of firearms. That's in the ship directory and damage report. I did mention all important features of the ship in each descriptive module and I did give a brief explanation of the outside of the ship. So no fancy forward cannon or military grade Turrets built into the side of the hull. Sorry. You could sit in the hangar if you'd like. I highly doubt any of those high speed vehicles or any capable military personnel would think to get people off the ship. However I'm slowly working things in the descriptions so just work with me on this. I had updated the professions to let you know how effectively everyone can pilot vehicles. I'm also currently updating the details of said vehicles in the introduction as well as some other things. Shade264 post was kind of short this time. I would guess the ship and scout crafts are equipped with weapons systems? If not, I may have to edit my post. Also I believe I ended right before entering life support or right after entering the hanger. As a pilot my room would be in the VIP sector right before the flight control deck right? Didn't you end your first post in the Flight deck? Which is where you would have been when the attack started. Your VIP room would more than likely be in VIP Quad 5 (Closest to the Flight Deck) A note to everyone, to avoid more confusion (Again work with me on this @_@) I updated the module map in the page 1 Introduction post and added more information.

Okay, then if I start the second round in my room when the turn is over I'm still in the VIP sector but a little further away from life support than I had thought.

If you started in your room. But again, you didn't say you were in your room at nightfall ;D If you're worried about dying again, I'm not that harsh. There's only five of you so worst that'll happen is you get knocked out for now. Edit: I looked over your first post a little more and I noticed you really only covered the ship landing. I'm allowing this now cuz it's pretty early on but if you want you can add another bit on the end and make it look good (aka no simple: He decided to go to his room for the night) You can mention something about the Automated personnel that I forgot about. They're like simple A.I. 2-1B units really. (The blocky walking surgical droids in Star Wars)

Finished updating the vehicles, some tools in the Bio garden, and the map to include VIP and Civilian module ID's. Also, try and keep using that format about location so I know where your characters are in the ship. The update should assist beautifully but when parts get u'sploded I really don't want to be like, "Oh, where was your character, I need to tell you what might have happened to them" Just waiting to hear back from umbraja to see where she ended (or just tweak her location in her post) She made it seem like she was in F with L'Tisha but i wanna be certain. I know from Vay she's pretty busy so no urge there. It's moving along quite nicely as it is. Also updated weapons for you soldiers out there ;D But really, the questions, the literals, and all that jaz is helping me better clarify things. It might be a little rough around the edges but I've been out of the GMing scene for a while. So I thank you for your patience and cooperation. ^_^ You all get a candy bar! yum_strawberrypie

Im on my phone so nothing pretty but I left the location a bit vague so you could chose where exactly Max is when things go down. So the answer is, she's in whatever starboard civilian module is most convenient for you. With Lia if you're going to force me to choose.
