Gravity yelped, falling backward with a ball of fluff attached to his face. "MMMFMFMFMFMMFMFF!!!" He growled and garbled and coughed through fur as he rolled around the ground in a panic.

DEDfeesh stared at the small crowd of people confused. Why was everyone here? A good question but seriously, why were they all circling that tree? Was there a secret? * A *
Skittering over towards the tree, they took note of the hearts on the door before looking at it a little puzzles. 2 hearts?
"Hi Mr Tree! You have two hearts on you...but I have seven!" their eyes were sparkling and a little concerned with their suddenly outburst a little later...But hey, they're trying?

The small teddy bear creature toddled up to the tree. It seemed as if everyone else had gathered here, and... Well! He might as well have tried. Clearing his throat, he leaned onto his tippie-toes (a figure of speech he had heard. In this form he did not, in fact, have toes at all) and rapped a plush fist against the door. It squeaked as he pounded, which honestly, was likely louder than the actual knock itself.
"Um, hello! Tree! I've noticed a few other trees talking, so maybe you are also a talking tree? I'm the Jack of Diamonds, I think? Would you please open for me?"

Jumping back a little at the door's sudden snap open for the other player, she turned to listen to the door as it spoke. Hmm. She pulled out her card deck, and shuffled it around for a moment, before giving a second try. "If you want two - I have two ranked two luck cards!" She presented them hopefully to the door.

Legolas found the tree mostly by the sound of the voices all around and he'd arrived just in time to see something spit from the door at another player.
"Whoah.. free loot." the elf approached with the others and peered up at it with his hands on his hips.
"SO like.. should I do a trick or dance or sing you a song or something?? Lemme geeeetttt soooooome." Legolas shook his hips in a stupidly hilarious attempt at being sultry.

"Okay so it's neither of those." He rolled his eyes. "Why does this crap have to be so ... confusing!" he straightened his hat slightly before stalking up to peer at the hearts on the door.
"Open ******** sesame. Places to be things to do." He tapped on the door, rather harder than necessary." He glared at the door. "You probably require a heart don't you. Wonder if I can steal that off someone"

Shadowstep scoffed at that. Right. He had no two or hearts. That card he received early on was an 8 of spades. Shaking his head, he just walked on away.

Never mind that he had been doing just that a moment ago. The door open, and bigbadwolf stepped back with glee, but it was only to fire out a strange looking minipet into the crowd, shutting before any of them could dare to get a closer look. "C'mon, baby, don't be like that, I can be the ace of your heart," he continued, leaning in closer to the door and pressing his cheek against it. He shot Nightbloom a sly look, as though she was intruding on a private conversation.

"......Well this seems kind of obvious. That's a first." A loud announcement from WarQueen as she strode onto the scene, stopping beside two others that she gave barely a glance towards.
And then glanced again, squinting. Familiarity....but not enough for her to recognize the faces beyond the floating names above their heads. Stupid floating names. Why couldn't everyone just use something obvious like she did?
