T'rel was a little alarmed at Kaimi's flirting, but after glancing, wide eyed, around the room, he seemed to calm himself. "No intimiate relationships" didn't mean friendly flirting! He would remind Kaimi later, of what could frighten a dragonet between.
"I'm sure you'll learn quickly," T'rel assured Naressa with a smile. Eager to learn: he liked that in a weyrling. "Small things first. I'll be teaching you how to take care of your dragons but--your main instructor is your dragon! No better teacher! You'll find patchy skin a good motivator for washing." He paused, and seeing her arms full, placed a hand on her shoulder and gave it a squeeze. "I'm T'rel," he said. "I'm looking forward to getting to know you both in lessons!"
T'rel lost the shred of professionalism he'd so far kept, upon seeing Becka. He reached out a hand to take hers. "Becka, I hardly recognized you," he complimented her. "See? I told you Zellie'd said you would Impress. She's lovely," he bent to study Taikirth, beaming. "Going to give me trouble?" He asked.

The time between leaving the sands and getting to the feast had been a busy one for Mairin. Vidarth had napped while she washed up and made herself presentable looking. Sand no longer clung to her skin and her hair had been dried, brushed and re-braided. A leather clip adorned the braise of the braid with a simple strip of leather tying it off at the tip. That was however about as close to looking fancy as Mairin ever got. She wasn't going to be the prettiest Weyrling at the feast but she at least wouldn't shame the place or her home either.
Mairin had still been considering shortening her name as she entered the dining hall. Vidarth didn't feel it was too long but then again her new lifepartner didn't seem to find much at fault with her. Everything was fixable, even the weird bits, so far as he was concerned. Though Mairin had had no luck getting him to explain what exactly the 'weird bits' of her were. Not even with extra rubs around his headknobs, though he had made a rather cute noise then.
T'rel's words were absorbed with a slow nod, the girl had already known the limitations that would be put on her should she impress. They were no great hardship, well mostly. Given how sensitive young dragons were Mairin's more daring exercises and habits were going to be on hold for a while as well. She wouldn't want to confuse or upset Vidarth by accident.
I will keep you occupied the dragonet promised. His would have little time to make her heart race while he was growing. One day though, the brown knew that he was be as massive and powerful as those dragons who had peered down at his hatching. Then he could safely assist his in seeking out that which she desired.
Mairin nodded and reached out to pet the side of her partner's neck. she certainly was going to be busy for the foreseeable future, still that wasn't a bad thing so far as she was concerned.

"It's one of the things I pride myself on." She said with a warm smile and she couldn't help but find what he was saying more than true. "I'm sure he will let me know if I'm doing something wrong." She said with a hearty laugh. 'Mine, let us sit, eat and be merry.' He said nudging her side lightly since he didn't want her to drop everything. 'Alright you overgrown lizard.' "It was nice meeting you T'rel. I'll see you around." She said flashing him a bright smile as she turned to find a place to sit and feed her hungry blue. She finally found a spot and set down the food and took a seat. She grabbed one of the large chunks of meat and fed it to Reciproth and she could feel his thrumming in her chest as he ate the flesh happily.

Becka couldn't help smiling at T'rel when he dropped his 'strict weyrlingmaster' stance and took her hand. "Taikirth wasn't going to let me dress as i usually do" she admitted, looking down at the green by her side. "Yes well .. you can tell Zelith thank you" she said, not quite overly pleasant but she couldn't hate him, he was a nice dragon, had always been nice to her.
Taikirth examined this rider who emanated smugness even if he didn't overtly show it. As if we could do anything to cause trouble snarked Taikirth which had Becka stifling a giggle. "Nooo of course not T'rel" she said At least he has the sense to call me lovely, which of course, i am again Becka stifled her mirth. Taikirth snorted a warm breath at T'rel's face when he bent to look at her, her eyes flashing amusement.

Fortunately for Kosth keeping him up to date during the hatching, T’anis knew who all impressed and at the very least to what color. Unfortunately, the bulk of the hatching was spent in the rain and the mud, slipping and trying to get up to where Kosth, Gyafrith, and Ash were all perched. Easier said than done, as it turned out. By the time he finally caught up, the hatching was essentially done and he was pretty thoroughly covered in mud. Oh, you could bet marks that Kosth gave him a good talking to. I told you to be careful this. You were running that. Ah, the greenrider had a good chuckle on the matter. All the way to getting a bath and a sound scrubbing. Arriving a mite late, but properly cleaned up, T’anis was waving off some last minute chiding from Kosth, before placating her with promises of oiling and maybe reading to her later.
‘I’ll hold you to that, Mine. You didn’t listen to me earlier and it got you in a mess.’
He smiled, in spite of himself, and shook his head. ‘Of course, beloved. Where ever would I be without you?’
‘Nowhere near where you are today.’
This caused him to laugh. ‘Thank you, Kosth.’ He felt the ping of her satisfaction and he smiled. He shook his head and slipped into the gathering, looking for either of the pair of the blueriding sisters.

Ashlyn
Ashlyn was just about to pick up some food, when she heard her own dragon in her head again.
Ashlyn mine, Kosth just arrived. So I would keep a lookout or T'anis, if I were you,Gyafrith told her. Ashlyn sent a thanks to him, before she started to look for the greenrider. When her eyes spotted him, she smiled brightly, before weaving her way over to him.
"I see you made it and I am not going to get covered in mud with you hugging me now,"she teased, her eyes twinkling.
Demanthra
Demanthra had finally arrived and she was practically skipping, with Llyrith at her side. Both of them were looking forward to this feast, though not sure what they would do.
There is your sister, right? Should we go over and say hello?Llyrith piped up.
"I think we should leave them alone for now, just so they can be all cute,"Dea giggled.
Astriana
Astriana stepped into the feast, wearing her best dress she had. She had Cordi in her arms, being very protective of her little green. She wasn't so sure why she had come, except she knew it was expected of her. She felt awkward in social situations sometimes, but she was sure she would at least have her brother around.
Do not worry, Astriana mine, this will be fun. Just try to relax,Cordi suggested.

Kaila observed the crowd quietly, but she smiled as Lein went straight for the food. The boy was quite a bit hungry, but she decided to continue to wait. Mine, R'mera isn't in his weyr though his blue is.
Kaila wondered where her brother was. Usually the reserved man was in his weyr or tending to his tasks as a rider. However she glanced out of the corner of her eyes and spotted him. Part of her wanted to leave for her weyr. Mine, you should stay at the feast and enjoy. Talk to some of the others. Avoid R'mera if you need to.
The greenrider sighed, but smiled as she saw Ashlyn towards her. She waved back, Spotting a young girl that seemed to be nervous, she walked up to the girl. "Hello."

Yes, the occasion was a very happy one. It was always a wonderful thing when there was a clutch and the young dragonets found their bond mates that would last for the rest of their lives. The pouring rain had even stopped! There was wonderful food and music and merrymaking. The place was abuzz with the mood.
Well, less so for Lute. She sat near the food tables, looking crestfallenly down at a plate of half-finished selections that she had made. The greenrider had felt practically ravenous when she had first arrived, but now, only part way through the things she had picked up, she felt absolutely stuffed. There was no room left in her. Stuffed to the gills, as she had overheard fishermen saying from time to time. That seemed about right. She slowly blew out a huffed sigh, pushing her plate another few inches away from herself. Sorely in need of digesting, she simply sat there, people watching the folks that came drifting by the food tables to serve themselves what was being offered up.
Resting her chin in her hand, she scanned around before spotting her weyrmate. She sat up a little more straightly and waved to get his attention. “T’rel! Hey, there you are! Got your talk out of the way? Are you heading to the food tables?”

‘Incoming, Mine,’ Chimed Kosth from up on her perch, looking down over the festivities.
T’anis stopped his meandering to slowly spin in place to try and pinpoint who or what was incoming. The young man broke into an easy grin at seeing Ashlyn making her way over. He tittered at her teasing, toeing the dirt with his boot as he spoke. “Heh. N-not this t-time ‘r-round. Th-thought it w-would be w-wise t-to gussy up a b-bit. Forgot a hair t-tie though.” He ruffled his loose, mostly dark hair. The greenrider swept her up in a swinging hug before setting her back down and brushing a stray lock back from her forehead with a smile. “You l-look l-lovely r-rain, shine, m-muddy, or clean. W-were you l-looking for D-dea and her f-fella or w-were you headed t-to the f-food tables?”

Ashlyn
Kosth, you could have let him figure it out,Gyafrith playfully grumped when he noticed T'anis turn around before Ashlyn spoke. He had a feeling the green had tiped off her own rider.
Ashlyn had waved back to Kaila, hoping the other would have some fun. Then she giggled as T'anis picked her up and spun her around, before placing her back down on her feet. She blushed lightly as he complimented her, he certainly did know how to make her feel special.
"I had been looking out for you two and about to get food, before Gyafrith warned me you were here. We can go grab something now, if you want,"she replied.
Astriana
Astriana heard a voice say hello and she turned to see a woman that she figured was older than she was. She heard Cordi tell her to be nice, which caused the weyrling to sigh, but nod her head to her dragon.
"Hello to you too,"Astri greeted.

Kaila smiled kindly at the girl while noticing T'anis and Ashlyn. They were adorable, but she hoped they enjoyed themselves at the feast. Looking at the weyrling in front of her, she remembered the girl was one of the new riders. "How are you this evening. Congrats on impressing." Kaila replied, trying to keep her voice from showing her bit of nervousness.

"Of course," T'rel inclined his head slightly as he watched Naressa go. She would be an attentive student, he was sure of it. He smiled, brightly, at Becka. "Of course not," he said, "She's lovely and feels you should share in her beauty. She's going to be quick in the air, this one," he added, glancing at the small green. There were a number of small dragons this clutch. It was alarming. He didn't like the idea of Cai's tiny blue ever flying thread: not if the dragon didn't have a sudden growth spurt. He felt the same way about Becka, but n,t because of her small dragon's size. No, greens were expected to be small and quick.
It was Becka he worried for. "I will," he assured her, "He'll be impossibly smug for a sevenday or so. Until he forgets." He reached to sroke Taikirth's head.
He straightened, hearing his name. He looked over at Lute, and smiled brightly. "I certainly did," he replied. "Same every turn." His response to the next question was nonverbal, but clear: his eyes veered over to the food table. He was starved!
