When Sar'thanon caught her lifting her leg taking a step back, he reacted like a coiled cat, leaping behind her snarling. He leabed in very close, growling into her ear from behind. "You look like a Flower to me," he snapped. "Little Flower Felicity...." he said with a dark chuckle.
He stepped away from her, but kept his blue eyes transfixed. "I don't think Lady Frostmourne would be very impressed by my ability to pull little flowers from their grassy stems," he explained. "No, I do think she would very much like something a bit more exotic... more colorful. Now come, Little Flower, you're prettier than any flowers I've ever seen."

She squeaked with fright. "No, really, let me find you some flowers. I can pick them for you." With him behind her, she stepped forward again, turning to face him.
She didn't like the way her name sounded on his lips. Her stomach turned at the thought of going with him. She really didn't feel it would end well. "I am not a flower...nor a present for your Lady." She feared her bold statement would cause more trouble for her, but she really didn't want to go with him.

Sar'thanon kept the smug smile on his face. He knew it was all a smokescreen; he was a large Soquili, sure, but he wasn't strong enough to force this mare to come with him. Not without physically harming or manhandling her which even he found distasteful. And cheating, anyway. The cat and mouse game; that was the thrill. And regardless, he had gotten under her skin, and that was the best part.
"You make it sound like Lady Frostmourne is my lady," he said with a curl of his lips. "She is a lady. One I respect greatly, that is why I want to give her a gift," he clarified. He walked up closer to her and nodded, as if this was somehow an acceptable compromise.

Adrenaline kicked in, her heartbeat quickened, and sweat beaded on her forehead. Instinct told her it was fight or flight time. She knew she couldn't fight him, so her choice was already made. She took one step back, then another, and stumbled as her footing shifted on a rock. She had to turn but would she have the opportunity to? Should she run away from him, or run past him? What would be her best strategy? Maybe she should take flight, though with his powerful wings, he would catch her so easily.
She didn't have time to think, only act. She spun around, slapping the air with her tail, half hoping it smacked him on it's way by.
It was time to run.

Sar'thanon felt the muscles in his body tense up - the predator in him trying to take over. It was instinctual to give chase. But he stopped himself, forcing himself to think; albeit quickly. If he played his cards right this could still wind up in his favor.
He let her get a bit of a head start, then dug his hooves into the ground and sprinted after her. He ran around the left of her, flanking her from that side. He left himself get close to her, but he didn't touch her. No, instead he was trying to subtly corral her in the direction she wanted him to go. Perhaps this would be a matter of endurance. Or maybe he could get her far enough on the mountain she couldn't go back without him.... butterflies couldn't flap in the cold and he wondered if it was the same for Flutters.
"Where are you going, Little Flower?" he called her, laughing cruelly.

Her hooves pounded the earth, ears flattened to her head as she ran. 'This is never going to work,' she thought. 'He's going to catch you.' She zigged and zagged through some trees. 'What were you thinking!' The voice in her head scolded her for trying to escape. 'I had to do something. He wanted to offer me up as a gift to his lady! That could only mean one thing. That I was to be her lunch! I had to run. I had to. This was the right decision.....wasn't it?' She fought with herself as she ran, only a glimmer of hope that she had escaped.
She was breathing heavily, the sounds of her hooves thundered over the hard ground. All she could hear was herself. Just when she thought she might have gotten away, his evil cackle pierced her ears. She screamed with fright, instinctually turning away from him and running the other direction. Fear guided her now, for she wasn't sure where she was going.

Sar'thanon didn't even know exactly what he was doing - what the end game would be. But she was terrified and he felt a rush of satisfaction swell in his chest. He tensed him muscles and launched himself off the ground, letting his leathery wings take him into the air as she tried to lose him in the forest.
She was at a blind run, and the mountain passes were coming up fast. When she began to run a direction that would lead him away from the path he wanted, he landed in front of her. His weight caused the dirt to rustle up, so close she could feel some of it splatter against her face. "Wrong way, Little Flower."

His menacing eyes and teeth sparkled with terror as he landed in front of her, steering her this way or that. It felt like he was a predator, playing with his prey before the kill. Felicity ran, dodging when he would land, in the other direction. Mountains loomed ahead, which was sure to be where he would catch her or where she could escape. Maybe she could find somewhere to hide that was small enough for her, but too small for him to get to. It was a giant risk, but she had to take it. She charged ahead, her hooves thundering against the ground. She only hoped that this wasn't a huge mistake.

Sar'thanon felt his muscles burn as he chased her, still trying to corral her way into the cold mountains. The predator drive was strong, the thundering of his hooves (and hers) fueling him forward. He loved this- seeing the terror in her eyes. He didn't even have to touch her to inflict this kind of panic!
The mountains were closing it, and he knew if she was smart she would try to avoid them. He launched himself off the ground again, unfurling his leathery wings, anticipating she would sprint away. Maybe he could just out last her on the wing.

Her muscles ached. Her breath came in harsh pants. He hair blew wildly behind her, and her wings kept catching in the wind she made. Her delicate flutter wings wouldn't stand a chance against his, so flying wasn't an option. She tried to keep them tucked close to her body, but they still caught some draft. She was quickly becoming exhausted. It felt like she'd been running for hours, but it had been merely moments since she had decided to run.
She could still hear his evil laugh in her head, his breath and hooves behind her. And then, there was silence. She didn't stop. It could only mean he had taken flight again. She pushed herself on, heading straight towards the mountains. The air seemed to be getting colder as she ran. Up ahead she could see icicles dangling from the edges of rocky overhangs. Snow piles dotted the landscape from the recent thawing snow.
Her eyes searched frantically for somewhere to go, somewhere to hide. This territory was unknown to her, and that only added to her terror.

Sar'thanon watched her overhead, making slow circles over the fleeing mare like some kind of buzzard. Every now and then a shadow would cut across her vision; a silent reminder that he was still there; watching.
He was patient... knowing the cold mountains well enough to take advantage of every updraft and gust of wind. His large leathery wings made navigating the sharp blasts of cold manageable, and he had long learned to deal with the cold.
When they were far enough up the mountain that he was rather positive she was lost, he landed again close to her. He didn't say anything at first; judging to see if she was too exhausted to run or not.
Moxxiie Sorry about the long wait.... my muse decided to take a vacation it seems.

There! A narrow space in the rocks that looked like it led into a cave. It would be close quarters, but maybe it was her only chance to get away. She ran for it, ducking her head as she went inside.
Once in, she took a second to look around and gather her bearrings. The cave opened up into a wider cavern deeper inside. It was very dark in there, with only slivers of light trickling down from above and from the outside. Water trickled down the walls of the cavern causing pools to form along the bottom of the walls.
Felicity's heart was slowly starting to regain it's normal pace, even though she was still extremely scared. She stepped quietly, each footstep carefully placed. Her ears were perked up, listening for any sounds that might come from behind her.
She saw a dark corner that looked like a good hiding place. Not even he could see in this darkness, right? She crept quietly over to the corner and melted into the darkness. She could still see the light from the entrance of the cave. It flickered every so often. She figured that was him, casting his shadow across the entrance, stalking her from outside. What was she to do now but wait. Wait to see what he would do.

Sar'thanon kept an eye on her, his eyes narrowing as she slipped between a crack in the rocks. She had found a cave! He cursed the spirits under his breath and dove back down, landing heavily on the rocks. He stomped loudly, wanting her to have no question in her mind that he wasn't going to give up that easily. "Little Flower!" he bellowed towards the cave's opening, marching up to it. "That's the growl way..." he growled, his malevolent smile evident in his voice. He stuck his head in the mouth and cave and pressed his belly against the floor, trying to crawl in. "I'm coming for you!" he called, but he didn't get far at all. His horns banged painfully on the jagged rocks above, and his shoulders were wide and unyielding. He snorted, a his cruel smile finally fading into an enraged sneer.
The tone of his voice changed, too. Going from a sing-song mocking to an angry shout. "You can't hide in here forever!"

From her hiding spot, she could hear him trying to get in. She peeked around the rocks and saw his silhouette against the light from outside. She watched as he tried crawling in, and became stuck. His voice came to her in a menacing growl, but she sighed in relief. Maybe she had escaped him....for now, but he was right. She couldn't stay in there forever.
How had such a calm and beautiful day turned into something out of a nightmare? Here she was stuck in a cave with a predator lurking outside, just waiting for her to emerge. She wasn't sure what would happen next, but she knew that for now she was safe, and exhausted. As she hid there in the dark, her eyes became heavy from fatigue. It wasn't long before she had dozed off, but even in her dreams she was running from Sar'thanon.Kamiki Perhaps we fast forward a bit so that she does have to venture further in to find another way out. You could have him circle around or even bring another Soq in to be on the other side? Maybe she stumbles upon his mistress?

Sar'thanon paced on the outside of the cave, snorting and pawing at the entrance. But it wasn't long because he got bored, hungry, and restless. He stopped his hooves and growled, but when it was obviously she wasn't coming out for a while, he reluctantly unfurled his wings and took to he chill air.
"Good luck not freezing to death, Little Flower," he said, not caring if she heard him or not. With a bitter snarl he made it way back up to the icy peaks.
Moxxiie Heya! If you wanna wrap the RP here you can. I enjoyed it regardless. But if you want to have it keep going with her trying to find her way down the mountain, we can do that, too. I'm pretty open smile
