Molly blinked, and then stared at Otto for a long moment as if she couldn’t quite comprehend what she had just heard. It took a few more moments before the gears suddenly turned, and the trainee’s face finally shifted into realization. “Oooh!” She went back to smiling then, and looked down at the sun emblem which blazed his coat now. Secretly, Molly liked it better…because Allan-taichou was awesome. “How come?”

"Uh...." Because you ran away from your duties? "A lot of reasons." He murmured, rubbing his arm. "I don't think I was suited for it to begin with. I mean... I know I got pretty far but.. I never really knew what I was doing." And Caelius was a sack of angry cats to work with.

Molly nodded her head a bit, and smiled still. “Well, I think it’s really important to know where you need to be that’s better for you!” She said encouragingly. “And if you’re happier here, then that’s what’s most important!” She smiled wider. “Allan-taichou is amazing, too! He took me on a mission to become a Pokemon Master!” Good times.

Otto's expression was wry at best. "Yeah... he's... somethin'." He's crazy is what he is. Sun seemed safest, despite the obvious nature of the job. He knew too little about Moon and was hardly versed in defence. Mist was a no. Life? Yeah right. He figured 'hit the thing' was probably as good as he could do. "Anyway, back to you." He gave her an unyielding look. He had not forgotten you tried to weasel out, Molly. "Do you need help?"

Allan-taichou was something! Even if she still wasn’t sure what he meant by ‘Defeat the Elite Four’. Still not sure… Molly started a bit at the look Otto gave her and stared at him, not understanding what he was saying, it seemed. “Need help…?” She stared at him for a long moment, her eyes going wide before she gasped. “Oh, yes!” She smiled. “Getting to full hunter!” She exclaimed excitedly. “You’ll still help me spar?” She may have gone a bit sparkly eyed at him. “If you had the time right now that would be most wonderful! If you don’t though, I understand completely!”

Otto sighed tiredly. Sometimes Molly was really thick in the head. "Sure, I'll spar with you." He drawled quietly. It had been a long time since he'd seen the motherly women's lance in action. Without wasting a moment, he headed to the direction of the fields. "Ya'll can bring them papers with you if ya want, or leave'em here."

Molly clapped her hands excitedly, despite having her notebooks. “Yay!” She cheered. “Thank you so much!” She was just positively radiating light now as she held her notebooks over her stomach and then nodded her head excitedly. The trainee followed after the hunter to the training fields, and once there place her files down neatly and off to the side before she stepped out into the field. “Ready whenever you are, Otto!” She informed, widening her stance and summoning her weapon, bracing herself.

The sight of her lance never ceased to stun. Molly and Rep both had intimidating weapons. One from nightmares and the former looking like an oversized weapon of redemption.

HP: 60 Damage: Good Lord Otto.... Sun Dice is not treating you kindly. Otto summoned Tenya, a sizeable weapon as well, but not comparing at all to the aforementioned wielders of legend. While he went through the motions as he always did while battling, he simply didn't come close to hitting his target, watching as his weapon overshot by a mile.

Molly braced herself preemptively as Otto summoned his weapon and then hurled it at her... Then watched it as it sailed right by her. She didn't take that time to attack a practically wide open Otto though, and instead was still staring at the weapon as it flew off and then started to come back. She was silent for a few moments before she whipped her head around to stare at Otto excitedly. "It looks different!" Genius observations, that Molly. HP: 50 / 50

"It... yeah..." Otto hung his head as he caught Tenya. Was it possible that maybe she was just getting weaker? < >
He grimaced and tried again, this time clipping Molly's arm.

Molly gasped delighted. “That must mean you’re growing and changing!” She replied, and beamed, even as Otto clipped her with his weapon once it returned. Using that distance, Molly lowered her lance and clipped the teen as well. It must have been a while since she last sparred…she was a bit rusty and out of the loop with handling her weapon.

He hardly thought he'd grown at all personally enough to warrant any changes. Maybe Molly just hadn't seen Tenya in so long she mistook it for something new. Tenya insisted her potential was ever growing always.
The teen twirled around once and let the weapon fly.

Molly let out a bit of a squeak with Otto hurled his weapon at her, immediately bringing up her lance and bracing it to try and deflect the mass of the weapon. Yup. It’d been a while. For shame. She pushed forward, lowering her lance and jabbing the teen. HP: 42 / 50

Otto took the attack in stride, allowing for some damage. However, her form was open now. The teen slammed his weapon down on her shoulder to impede her attacks.
