Well the wind decided to be a butt nugget and chase us back down to town. Plus allergies, lack of sleep and inability to get comfortable....then I had to drive home...in a wind storm at night...>.>

-curls up with flattened ears- Well ladies, Shiny has some saddening news...
My grandpa is dying. He's got lung issues and he caught pneumonia. I saw him yesterday and it hurt to see him in such pain. I missed him dearly as I don't get to see him often. I know it's going to hurt when he goes but at this point, he's ready to go. He's ready to go be with my grandma. It pains me to think about it but I know it's what's best...after going through as much pain as I have of losing loved ones, you learn to accept it, but it always hurts.
As you can tell, I have a lot going on right now...

I know you probably really don't wanna hear it, since I'm sure you've probably heard it from everyone you've told but, I'm truly sorry. I know how hard it is to lose a loved one. And you're right... One can learn to accept that death is inevitable but no matter how many times you lose someone, you will hurt just as much as you did the first time.
But as you said, it's for the best. Soon he will be without pain, medications, doctors and nurses poking and prodding at him though, which I'm sure he isn't a fan of.
I send consoling vibes/prayers/happy thoughts or whatever you're into, your way. emotion_bigheart

Ladies, Shiny is not a happy camper....not all...
At my work, which is 7-Eleven. We have an attached Subway. There's guy who has the hots for me and I've blatantly been rebuffing him for the past year. He said this last night, I didn't hear the whole thing except one word that sent me in to a fury, "Don't tell nobody but *whispers something and the word trashy*" I looked at him with a solid death glare in my eyes and said in a very threatening tone, "You DO know that she's my sister?" You don't Effing talking about my sister like that, let alone to my face! You're damn lucky I didn't walk over and break your effing jaw!
So after fuming all night I got up this morning to check if our paychecks were in yet, unfortunately not....I went and talked to his boss about it and I'm like, "Next time, on shift or not, my hand flies on it's own. You don't effing talk about my sister like that to my face."
Lucky for me his boss is both my and my sister's friend so she said she'd take care of it and that she'd have a talk with him. Last night I was white knuckling my clenched fist trying not to just walk over and punch him. He kept trying to talk to me, if he ever thought he had a chance with me, which he never did to begin with, he just sealed his fate. If he gets fired from his job I'm walking down to the courthouse and getting a restraining order against him for his own safety. Because I will not hesitate to lay into him.
I've sent people to the hospital with broken bones for lesser crimes...he just sealed his fate with me.
So yeah...as you can see, Shiny isn't in a good mood...at all. If he tries to effing talk to me again Imma straight up tell him to not talk to me. He honestly thinks Imma stand by and say nothing when he's talking chizz about MY SISTER?
Let's hope I don't get arrested for this...

-flails about wildly and excitedly- I'M GOING TO VEGAS IN ONE WEEK!!!!
I'm so frickin excited! I've been anticipating this trip since I got my tickets for the concert in the mail. I'm about $100 less than what I was hoping for my extra spending money for the minimum. I'm $200-$300 short for my ideal amount I wanted to go with. I'm praying to the goddess for good fortune in Vegas so I can come home with enough money to last me a while after I move.
If I can, I will be moving at the beginning of next month. If not I gotta get a hold of my friend whom I'm moving with that I can't go until there's someone to replace me at work because I don't just want to up and abandon them. As soon as someone is hired to replace me, I'm sending in an application to the Security Officer job that I found is being offered at the place I'm moving to. Free training and Certifications, tuition discounts for school, how I can argue with awesomeness like that? Plus I have a co-worker who I'm working with now who's working on starting a Security Officer place and he said when I come back I'd have a guaranteed job and if I'm not certified by the time I come back he'd train me and help me out. It's awesome! I love having the friends and contacts I do.

Oh that s**t was off the hook! The concert was amazing! AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I gotta get all the videos I recorded and mesh the pictures into a fabulous collage and send out copies to all my lovelies and my fam & friends that I promised copies to.
