Orpheus laughed a bit as he watched the dragon make himself comfortable in the pool. He shook his head then turned to Jekel, "Alright. He's gonna make this class more interesting now isn't he?" He said this being the first time he got to see one of the dragons.
He then knelt down to fish around before finding what he was looking for, "Ta-dah!" He held out a circular sphere out for them to see, it was clear but the thing within it wasn't, "These are what we are after today, They are spread out all through the pool both the deep end and the shallow end. They all contain prizes of some sort in them. Its harder to see them under the water though as they blend in."
The point of the lesson was swimming, searching, and well... not drowning, "So everyone is to collect ten of them between now and the end of class. I can't promise you will get the ones with the candy in them as the Leviathan may eat them." He joked.

Laial blinked in slight confusion. So, the whole point was to be underwater? And the teacher knew that they could be underwater? Cool.
Laial inhaled and let go of the wall, sinking into the water. When he had first jumped in the water had felt a little different, but now that he was under he relized it was completely different. His first, last and only factual clue to this was the burning in his eyes when he submerged. Quickly spitting out the air in his lungs, his tentecles found the wall in time to prevent him from sinking. "What is in that water?!" he half-shouted at the teacher, his hands covering his eyes in a vain attempt to protect them.
((Nautilus's eyes are open at the pupils. He dove under and the chlorine mixed with the water slipped in.))

Orpheus tilted his head to the side, "In the water?" He asked then went under and opened his eyes looking around a moment then came up out of it, "Ahh. I see. One would think that I or the ones filling the pool would have thought of that. I appoligize Laial." He told him then looked over at Jekel, "Can you and the Leviathan keep an eye on the two younger students?" He asked before he hopped out of the pool and went to fetch some goggles. He would have to see about the pool getting filled with something else, like spring water or something else safer for the kids.

Chath was excited, but as he paddeled around he was surprised by the teachers instructions and yet full of glee. He had found out he could breath in water as well as out of it thus he could stay submerged a lot longer if he wanted to. Of course the sting in his eyes caused him to be a bit irritated but after hearing Laial complain about the chlorene he wanted to prove himself tougher than him.
Slowly though his felt the toxins seep into his body and he attempted to ignore those as well. He could tough it out. He would show everyone what a great swimmer he was. As the teacher left, he wondered if they could start the excercise already. Spotting one close by he eyed it and paddeled so that he was nearly over top of the thing.
He was still weary of the leviathan, as much as it awed him he reconized the rows of teeth indicating a potentail preditor. Jekel also had rows of sharp teeth. THe boy had been..not rude but certianly not engaged with Chath's question. Chath chewed on his lower lip while he thought this over but quickly stopped after tasting the horrible water.

((By the way.. D-corp wouldn't put chlorine in the water. XD For future note. They're smarter than that. With around 2000 labtechs working atleast one would think up that clorine is a bad idea. :B ))
Jekel blinked, shrugging off the mention of the water. "Sure, don't worry bout me 'm used to chlorine." he gave a wave of his hand Seeing as he was the tough kid here he had to keep up an image.
As the teacher left he gave a tiny smirk to the two younger children now under his care... It faded after a moment. He had matured atleast somewhat since his days as a biting toddler. "Allright! I'm the oldest, so naturaly I'll have to watch out for you guys. Right lev?"
The Leviathan ignored his name for the moment, not quite uesed to it at the moment. "Lev!" He blinked, peering towards his tamer. Giving a tiny hiss and a nod.
Jekel nodded, slapping his tail against the water. "The key to speed is using your tail!" He demonstrated with a wave effect of his own. The attitude was different thatn his usual. Swimming held a high priotiry for the boy, giving him a much more positive attitude about it.
He paused, looking to Laial with a bit of confusion. Okay... He didn't have a tail per say. "...Uhm...What do you have?" he dropped out rather bluntly... Sure he'd stopped biting, but the rest of his social skills had yet to be developed.

Chath was starteled to see the shark boy suddenly taking charge, sure the teacher had put him in charge...but still. He turned so he faced the boy. The tail? he looked behind him and watched his tail swish back and forth...his tail wasn't very useful...his arms were more powerful than that. But maybe the shark boy was right.
When the boy noticed Laial didn't have a tail he had to choke back a laugh.

Laial had been watching the shark boy warily, almost certain the boy was going to eat him now. He was a bit relieved when the boy began to take charge of the class and not eat him, but he couldn't be sure.
When faced with the tail problem, however, he wanted to go two ways. One part of him was upset that the other kid his age made fun of him not having a tail. This part wanted to huff and shout that he didn't need a tail! The other part of him said that that was how a baby acted, and that part wasn't about to be called a baby! "Well, I have tentecles and a shell..." he started, not exactly knowing what to say next.

Chath was oblivious to the fact he hurt the other boy's feelings and paddeled over the token he had been hovering over now breifly forgotten. "Yah i noticed your shell right away. Is it really hard?" he asked interested in the young boy. He was very different from any other kid he had met, though the tentecles reminded him ever so slightly of Nero.. he couldn't fathom why.

Jekel puzzled the perdiciment, "Can you like.. wiggle them real fast or somethin?" he blinked, waving his arms as if to try and wiggle them.
The leviathan looked up at his tamer, tilting it's head. It then stuck it's tail out of the water, and wiggled it along as well giving a happy hiss.
Jekel shrugged it off "Whatever, the trick to swimming fast is to make yourself as thin as possible! You tuck your arms against your side like this." a slight slapping noise was heard as he tucked his arms against his body. "Your feet together." Again, he demonstrated, going at a military attention stance. "Then you use your tail to push you as fast as you can.. Or tentacles, and you move your arm out if you want to turn."
With the explination in place, he gave a wide grin.. There, now they knew everythign he did and all was fair, right? "Betcha I can get more orby things than both of you together!" he announced proudly, leaping foreward into the water and rushing forth.
Little lev blinked, wondering if he should follow. Tsh, but why? Those silly orby thingies weren't that shiney or anything... Hm.
The dragon would have probably changed his mind if he had known there was candy in some.

Chath's attention was diverted by Jekel as he demonstrated how to swim fast, his tailed was wafting back and forth in the water his feet kicking to keep his head above water. Lucky for him he was able to see fairly well underwater, a thin film protecting his eyes and abling him to see. He imitated the stance jekel showed but was surprised when the boy then dove after the orbs.
"HEY! that's not fair!" he cried out, he himself then diving back towards the orb he had spotted. This being his first time in a pool this size he was surprised to find that his tail started to thrust back and forth in powerful strokes propelling him forward. In the kiddi pool it wasn't deep enough for him to be able to do that. He blinked a bit, the water distorted the image before him and he found even though he had held his breath that he had no need to resurface just yet. Just as soon as he got his first one then he would.

Laial nodded once. "Ja, it's really hard. I fell off a counter and it didn't even crack." That was when he learned just how hard his shell was. And that was really really hard. He allowed himself to smirk a little. They would have broken a bone, at least. Maybe even have to wear a cast.
However, once the older boy started talking about how to swim, Laial's good mood eroded away, leaving the same bitter feeling he had before when the kid his age made fun of him. He hissed at the older kid, something he would never do in his right mind. "I can swim already. I don't need your useless advice."

Chath managed to scoop up an orb but as he swam to the surface he dropped it. It was too hard to follow while it sank to the bottom so he resurfaced and shook the water out of his hair. Looking over he saw that Laial wasn't joining in. He had missed the comment the boy had made towards Jekel.
"Hey why don't you help me? My fingers seem to be oo slippery to keep ahold of those things." He asked padling over to him. "Your tentecles look like they would be really useful for this excercise." He continued as he then noticed another orb closer to them. He wasn't sure what exactly were in them...though the instructer said some had candy.

Orpheus returned a short while later and hopped back into the pool, "Here you go Laial. I found some goggles for ya." He said, "They will help to protect your eyes."
He looked at the others, "Either of you two find any of the orbs yet?" He asked then looked at Leviathan, "Or you?" Half joking since he had no idea if the dragon had interested in candy or the other various things in them. Maybe the ones with the shiny gumball machine baubles? They were meant for if there were any girls in the class which they seemd to be lacking. He hoped none of the boys would be insulted if they found an orb with a ring or something in it.

Luckally for Laial Jekel had allready dove under the water when he commented, or things would have gotten a bit.. er. messy. Jekel wasn't the type to talk back to, expecially when he was actually being helpful for once.
Either way, he didn't surface all too soon, he knew he could stay underwater as long as he needed. He had much more skill over the two boys, and as he swooped past his third orb it was really showing. not only had he taken a class allready, but he was also much taller and stronger. Just with those two simple things he was able to reach the orbs easier, and he was faster.
He didn't even remember the comment Bree had told him about going easy on the younger kids.
However, he did surface as he grabbed up a fourth, awkwardly trying to hold the four slippery round objects in his arms. "Lev!" he hollared from across the pool.
The dragon blinked at orpheus, tilting his head as if to ask why he'd want to bother. His name caught his attention on the first try, dropping his intrestin orpheus and averting it to the boy across the pool.
Immediatly he dipped under the water, easily moving through the water, much more skilled than jekel had been. Afterall... he was born for it. He poped up next to the shark boy, peering curiously at the orbs.
"Here." Jekel held them out to the dragon. "Guard these."
Lev eyed the shineis for a moment, quickly taking no objection to his hoarding instinct as he took one or two in his mouth, and coiling his tail around the remaining, quickly moving to the side to curl up with his new prize.
Jekel grinned, turning back to go for more when he spotted the two younger boys. Hah.. Looked like he was winning allready. "You better hurry up!" he teased, harmlessly, then ducking back under the water.
((Yes, I'm sure jekel will collect the most. I apologize for this ahead of time. XD
Because then he will gloat. and then Laial wil say something
and then jekel will attack him. D: And things will get messy. Like when he nearly ripped up another kid at the pool. o__o Atleast he has concepts of death now and won't bite. =D He'll still beat the crud out of people. XD Just no biting off limbs...
But facts are is he's much faster and more experienced than either of them. And his DNA is made for swooping by things to snatch them. XD And I don't want to be OOC, just like I wouldn't want anyone else to do. And nor will I godmod. :B Jekel has several weakspots.
So, ^__^ No hard feelings and.. watch out orpheus? XD ))
