Artie Hopper Artie's face went pale the moment he heard the change in tone of her voice as she spoke his name and her views towards him. He felt the ground shake under him as he looked and saw the hand of bones come out of the ground beneath the bench. He looked back towards Lily as she spoke again, blackmailing him by telling him that either he would come with her now, or she would start the zombie apocalypse in a minute and start destroying the town. "I-I u-u-understand Lily! I-I'll c-c-come with y-you, s-s-so please s-stop!" He replied quickly with a quick nod, still pale in the face. This scary side of her where she was using her power was one of the reasons why he had left his original town, but unlike last time where she was using her undead servants to catch him, she was simply going to blackmail him. "O-Okay..?" He questioned, hoping that she would stop her attack, but he was still very worried for his chastity because he had no idea what plans she had for him.

♋☢While her demeanor was still dark, she allowed a small grin to form on her face as Artie gave into her demand. It was simple really, she knew he would. Unfortunately for this boy, Lily understood his weakness of not wanting unnecessary deaths, which is why he was perfect for her plans. "Great." she said, her tone and expression switching smoothly back to the happy attitude she had held before. Looking down to the dirt beneath the bench, she evaluated the bony arms for a moment before flicking her wrist. A crack emanated across the street, but from what one could see of the creature, it was limp. Lily had sent the soul back to the underworld, where she and her power lived. "This way love~" She said, turning her attention back to her goal as she led him away from the scene arm in arm. "I sent my messenger to the hospital last night. I thought it would be funny, because humans always have movies where the undead show up in hospitals." Her voice continued to go on as she rambled about the few movies she had watched herself, all the while make their way to the town's small hospital.

Iced Cherry Latte OOC: What is she going to do to him there? o-o xD Artie Hopper Artie was still rather pale in the face and shivered a bit when he saw her grin as she made her happy reply. He turned to look at the bony arm go limp, relieved that she kept her promise as he was a kind person and didn't want unnecessary deaths. "Y-Yeah.." He replied weakly as he looked back at her as she started to pull him along while explaining what she had done last night. "I-I-I s-see.. W-What type of m-message..?" He questioned in reply figuring that they were heading towards the hospital, though he was hoping that he would find a way to get away from her as he had no idea what she had planned for him now that she was going to begin her work later. ▂▃▅▆█Firebrand Waving a hand at her insistence on excusing herself, he paused at what seemed like a wavering in her voice. Had he imagined it? His brow crinkled in confusion as she moved to hurry away, and he decided that judging by the way she was moving, something was clearly wrong. Normally, he was the type to mind his own business, but her body language communicated distress, and he was more sure now that there had been a hitch in her voice. "Hey..." he called out, tentative at first, as if unsure. Heaving a sigh, he moved to follow her. "Hey, wait!" he followed her at a bit of a distance, not wanting to seem like he was stalking her or anything. "Please wait." he restrained any exasperation in his voice, for while this was quite the inconvenience when he was in the middle of his own sulking, but he had already made his decision to follow her.

Jaclyn was a little surprised that he was following her. After a bit of running she stopped. It was somewhere a little more quiet. The girl turned to the man. "What do you want?" She snapped. She was close to tears. "Pick on me? I don't care this town is the worst place my parents dragged me to." She didn't even have control of herself. After a moment she got onto the ground and started to cry. "Why did they have to take me to this crappy place?"

"This was supposed to be a second chance, not an eternity."
Blueberry pie, that was all Ren could think about as he lazed about near a tree, his mind filled with the idea of eating delicious food. Sure it was very childish of him to be thinking of only food, but he was still a kid at heart. Although, lately he had been acting rather strange, like his body was trying to make him act one way while his mind was thinking of acting a different way. "I don't really understand it, but I bet there's some complicated way to explain it that I wouldn't get." He mumbled to himself and sighed, putting one of his hands on the tree he was near and began to look at all the people walking around. There were so many people out today, then again this was sort of a place where people roamed around, right? Of course there would be people out and about, especially in the middle of the day like this. After a few moments Ren let out a yawn, wondering if he should avoid going back to his home at all costs. I can't keep avoiding it forever though... unfortunately. He thought to himself with a bit of tired frustration.
It was not like it was terrible at home, he simply felt it was sort of tiresome and complicated, especially with his mind acting the way it is. This new life was proving to be rather difficult for him, in many different ways. "Why can't it be like it was before. Plus I haven't made any progress on my journey. What if she comes here wondering why I haven't found anyone to help us out? She'd probably hit me across the head or something, or put a spell on me. I wonder if she could turn people into frogs...." He began to mumble to himself, wondering just what might happen if that woman found out he had not found a single person to help her with her cause. The whole reason he was alive again was because that witch had brought him back to life... or would sorceress be a better word for it? Either way, she would probably be furious with him if she caught him just standing here in the middle of the boulevard without a single person to aid her. "She's a scary woman to begin with... I wonder how scary she is when she's angry..." He thought to himself, his childlike instincts telling him that she would turn into some scary beast with horns.

☤Danielle Brooks☤ ☤The Angel☤ "Beauty of the child of destiny... Delightful days are rich with density of love. Thorny path, there's no easy way for real bliss. So I keep on fighting, fighting for destiny. Gonna keep on fighting, fighting for destiny." A girl ran swiftly, her hood over her head to block light glare while a book was held in both her arms and pressed against her chest. She wasn't accustomed to sprinting, so she wasn't terribly fast, but she was moving as fast as her robes would allow her. Orange hair hung out from the inside of her hood, so while her face was obscured, her long orange locks were very easily observed. She was quite small, and a threat she most certainly was not...the bag slung across her shoulder that hung all the way down at her waist attested to that fact. There was little reason to fear her.
Well...little reason beyond her tendancy to accidentally purify everything she touched. It was the reason she kept herself secluded from everybody, but today she had very important business to attend to. The book she was hugging to her chest was a holy tome, one she planned to transcribe for future usage should the original incur damage. The flowers in her bag were just that...flowers. They had their medicinal uses, yes, but she wanted to use them for decoration. There was nothing inherently wrong with it, but she wanted to move quickly so she could get them in to water before they began to die. In her presence, however, the flowers still thrived.
As she raced toward her home, she saw a man looking particularly in need, so with a definitive sigh, she walked up to him without even informing him of her presence first. "Excuse me, sir...you look troubled. Perhaps I could be of some help if you are in need?" She looked up at Ren, her eyes obscured, but an obvious smile painting her face. It was held with the same gentleness conjured by images of angels, and truth be told...Danielle was no different. She could very well have been an angel, only lacking wings. While she did not know the man's name, she offered him her services simply because what she did best was help people. It cut in to her personal time, yes, but she didn't particularly care. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

"This was supposed to be a second chance, not an eternity."
Hm.... it seemed as though the thoughts of the scary horned woman were wiped from his mind almost immediately, due to the fact that some girl randomly showed up and spooked him. Honestly it was rather hilarious considering that it was the middle of the day. "Gah! Where'd you come from!?" He asked, surprised by her sudden appearance. He had not really been paying attention to his surroundings so her popping up out of nowhere might have been contributed to by the fact that he was lost in his own thoughts. However, her words then repeated in his mind and he cleared his throat, and shook of the thoughts from earlier, now aware of the fact that he was looking troubled to the outside world. "Help? Well... you probably couldn't help me to be honest, at least not with the job I'm trying to do. It's sort of something.... well I guess anyone could do it really. But most people probably wouldn't want to." He began to rant, realizing just how easy the task he had been given was. Just how useless was he that he could not get a simple job done?!
When she finally gets her hands on me and finds out... she'll kill me for sure. He thought to himself, comedic tears flowing from his eyes at the thought of it. However, the child-like man shook his head and looked back towards the woman in front of him, deciding to explain what he said a bit less.... awkwardly. "What I meant was. I'm supposed to be finding people that are 'heroes' and I haven't found a single one the entire time I've been here. And because of that... I'm sure the woman that told me to get the job done is gonna kill me." He stated to her, not wanting to name the sorceress in case she ever did show up. After all, if he spread word around that she would hurt him then it might make her even angrier than before. Luckily this could be avoided by simply not naming her specifically. "So it might be difficult for you to help me, lady." He stated, laughing a bit and rubbing the back of his head. It might seem strange for a young man to call her 'lady', but to him it was only natural since she was probably older than him, mentally that is.

☤Danielle Brooks☤ ☤The Angel☤ "Beauty of the child of destiny... Delightful days are rich with density of love. Thorny path, there's no easy way for real bliss. So I keep on fighting, fighting for destiny. Gonna keep on fighting, fighting for destiny." Danielle jumped backwards at the man's exclamation, deciding that it would be better to keep a healthy distance before he did something he was going to regret. "I...erm...walked over here from over there?" It was a decent enough explanation considering Danielle literally just walked over rather than having some super-secret teleportation, or stealth, or anything. He spoke on and on, Danielle only tilted her head partially to the left at thinking the man was ill. "I see...and this didn't all come about from a dream?" Danielle probably shouldn't have been surprised.
Danielle thought about his words for a moment, a brief smile crossing her lips. She recalled her days of journeying with so-called "heroes," despite the fact that they were more akin to a group of bandits than anything. Liah, Mary, Muramasa, Vaan, Ash, Valen, Gale...more names than she could recite, but there were so many people in that group that she remembered. It was at that time she wondered if she would count after venturing out with such a motley crew, yet achieving what others could not. "Ahh...but that was long ago. Everyone has long since scattered to the wind..."
She muttered to herself, wondering if they might be reunited again soon. That, however, was to be dealt with later...for now, she wished to assist Ren in whatever way she could. "Uhm...perhaps I may suffice? My father was a knight of a holy order while my mother was an...err...a priestess." Yeah, she was a priestess...but not in the way Danielle implied. Her mother was an angel, and though the matrimony shouldn't have happened, Danielle was born through it sharing that same angelic bloodline, and bearing her father's equipment and skill. Not now, of course, since she would've scared those near her with his items.
"I don't know if I count as a hero, but I promised to help those in need, and from the looks of you...you need a lot." She could, at the very least, be a stepping stone or a launch-pad to greater or more powerful people than her. Perhaps it wasn't even a matter of power, but Danielle had yet to run across a situation where "power" was useless. As Muramasa told her "power wasn't a measure of physical, mental, or magical prowess. Power was the value of one's soul, and measuring your soul against another meant being more powerful." She hadn't understood it at the time, but had grown to know what he meant. Her memories were intruded upon by the fact that she noted being called "lady," which was something quite odd. [b"Lady, huh...?" Danielle ended up casting her face downward, the shadows of her hood completely obscuring her face, save for her bright orange hair, of course. She wondered if she looked old at all, but that couldn't have been the case. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

"This was supposed to be a second chance, not an eternity."
A dream!? Of course this was not a dream! Ren had been pulled back into this world and forced into a brand new body- oh, yeah, it sounded like a dream, but she did not know that! He had not explained any of this to her! Then again, she was probably talking about something else entirely. Still though, the current circumstances surrounding his life were not only hectic but very, very problematic and dream-like. Until recently he had not even known there was an entirely different world full of other creatures and such. Until recently he was human. Now he was... 'human', since whatever he was definitely was not natural, yet natural at the same time. Not even the term 'homunculus' could describe what he was. That sorceress really did drag him into some strange world. Ren's train of thought was quickly derailed when the woman near him mumbled something to herself that he could not catch. Although, this mumbling did succeed in bringing his attention back to her. "Oh right... dream. I wish it were one." He mumbled, looking away slightly.
Then the woman stated that maybe she could count as one of these 'heroes' he was supposed to find, informing him that her father was a knight while her mother was a priestess. "Wow... those jobs are so much cooler than what my parents were..." He stated, somewhat in awe at the woman's heritage. Heritage probably did not matter, but it still made him think that maybe she was capable of being either of those classes! Wait... this was not some video game, people are not inherently the same as their parents, right? Maybe visually and genetically, but not job-wise. The woman, however, quickly stated something else that caught his attention. She did not know if she counted as a hero, but she promised to help people in need.... wow. It really made Ren think back to when he was speaking to the woman that bought him back to this world. This girl was definitely like himself, at least from what she had said right then. He too, helped those in need whenever he could, despite really only being a kid. Although technically he was not a kid... in his mind he still was.
"Right.... I'm sure you're more of a hero than you think. All it takes is for someone to reach out their hand to another person and help them up, or at least I think that's how all those shows said it's supposed to be..." Ren stated, referring to television shows where heroes tried to teach a moral lesson or something of the sort. Long story short, he was still just a kid, so nothing profound could probably be said by him, especially not in this moment. "But.... do you know what a hero looks like? For the first couple months I looked for people who wear masks and colorful outfits... but they don't seem to be around here... at all. Then I tried looking for people that looked strong but they're kind of scary rather than hero-like." Ren began to start ranting, explaining how difficult a time he was having trying to find some sort of hero or anything of the sort. It was probably due to his misguided idea of what a hero should be like, developed over time from his time watching television as a kid.

███████████████████████████████████████████████ Liah Xes Adrasa| High Deliverer| The End| Tomboyish Daughter| Current Track: Relaxed: Reach Out to the Truth -Summer Breeze- As Danielle wondered how exactly to explain what a real hero was, she heard the familiar roar of a motorcycle coming to a sudden halt. A hero...Danielle would've said somebody like Chase was a hero, even if she was nothing like the hero she was marketed to be. The girl in black jumped off her bike and placed a gloved hand on the back of her neck, a quick snap sideways causing an audible cracking sound. "Hey, Danielle...you should be with the others. It's not safe out here." Chase remarked, her voice dull, but her eyes vibrant on their own.
The girl took off a faceless helmet and set it on the seat of her motorcycle, a quick shake of her head sending her blue locks out back in to their natural shape. Her hair was also partially purple, but the most common color was blue. Her left eye was similarly blue, while her right was yellow. Both seemed to bear slits meant to block out light, and to that effect, Chase was unaffected by the brightness of the sun. She wore a black scarf that covered the entirety of her face, and further, hung down to her legs. She also wore a headband that was similarly long, but not to the same effect.
She wore a long black coat with white fur for its trim, and white pom-poms hanging from it. The black coat itself had white snowflakes decorating it, but it was blazing hot outside...too hot for what she was wearing, anyway. She wore deep blue pants that were strapped at the side, and although it was impossible to see, she was wearing a grand total of three belts for a single pair of pants. She unfurled a massive pair of black wings, spreading them to their full length as she approached Ren. Her wings folded back, but remained visible. "And you...I don't appreciate you trying to take advantage of my friend."
Even without a discernable tone, Chase sounded very...as she would put it, "pissed off" that somebody was talking to Danielle. The girl was fragile at heart, and physically too...Ren seemed a threat to Chase, so she wasn't going to let him get away with whatever he had done...which just so happened to be nothing. As Chase's right hand clenched in to a tight fist, a ghostly howling followed and a black cloaked shadow materialized behind her, shaking its head at her actions. "Don't. There's nothing to gain, and nothing to revenge. He's just questioning her." The shadow calmed Chase, reminding her that it was best not to go around making enemies so soon.

Will Will had been wandering about like he usually did despite being a Diplomat, he was rather carefree and didn't even bother with guards since he didn't need them anyway. He was looking at items that could be seen through windows on display at shops, interested in the stuff that they had. It was when he was about to enter the store when he heard the roar of a motorcycle was his attention and curiosity diverted to the arriving person. A motorcycle, a vehicle of the human world that he always wanted to see because it seemed interesting, so while the woman with the mask had been distracted by the male with brown hair and another girl, the feminine boy wandered toward to the motorcycle and looked at it from different angle with pure curiosity. After looking at it a bit, he noticed a black cloaked shadowy guy and tilted his head a bit before walking over to the girl with the mask and eyes of two different colors. "Hey, Miss. Your motorcycle is super interesting, but how does it work? It's my first time seeing one for real~!" He asked her, not even caring that he had just interrupted some important sounding conversation with such intense and curious eyes, but he wanted to know how something like a motorcycle could work.

███████████████████████████████████████████████ Liah Xes Adrasa| High Deliverer| The End| Tomboyish Daughter| Current Track: Relaxed: Reach Out to the Truth -Summer Breeze- Chase found her attention focused on what she, at first, assumed was a girl...but there was always a distinction. Chase rubbed the back of her neck again, a sigh reaching her lips when he suddenly asked her a question she wasn't expecting. "Ahh...it's a different as far as motorcycles go." Chase responded honestly. She'd been tampering with it forever, so it had long since ceased to be a regular motorcycle. Chase walked back over to her bike to quickly show him how it worked since he wanted to know.
Thanatos sighed as well, but for entirely different reasons. Chase waved her hand over the bike and it roared to life, as if it were a being of its own. "Ignition is pointless, and fuel comes from a different source. I guess you could say I'm her fuel source." Chase sat down on the machine and revved it twice, her dull expression and voice only lightened because she was talking of somehting she loved. "Beyond how she moves, it's really just like any other if you take her apart. If you want an actual lesson on how they work, I don't charge."
The scarred girl stepped away from her transport, and it began to silence once more. She placed her hand on her hip and stared at the person before her. Those slits in her eyes becoming thinner as she focused on what she was looking at. Thanatos cleared his throat and spoke in that deathly tone he always seemed to have. "A name would be appropiate, firstly. My lady forgot to introduce herself as well, so I will do so. Her name is--" Chase raised the back of her hand to Thanatos, signaling him to stop there. She didn't need her name to be noted.

Will "I see." Will replied curiously when she said that it was different as far motorcycles went and followed her back over to the bike. He watched as she waved her hand over the bike and it roared to life, making an explanation that she was the fuel source in a sense. Other than that, it was exactly the same as other motorcycles with how it rode, and she even offered a lesson for free. "Really!? I'm guessing it runs on magic, right?" He replied with increased curiosity in his eyes as he smiled a bit, but then looked to the shadowy being who said that he would have to say his name and was about the say the girl's name, but was stopped by the girl in question. "Ah, right. I forgot. Hi! I'm Will~. And I'm a dragon~!" He greeted the girl with a bright smile, despite stating the shocking that he was a dragon. "You don't have to tell me your name if you don't want to, Miss Scarface lady~. Although~." He paused as he went closer to her and sniffed her a bit, "You are definitely part dragon, though it is pretty diluted." He finished bluntly, yet curiously, clearly interested in her as a person and easily noticing what she was pretty well, though he wasn't interested that much about the things that diluted her dragon part, more on the fact that she was indeed part dragon.
