Salomon smiled. He was interested in seeing what she meant by becoming something, but for now he would have to wait for when she was ready to show him. The man cut his steak while she talked. There was no awkwardness between them. They were now two friends having lunch. Then the question of his wealth came about. "I am an investor. I usually invest in stock and up and coming businesses. People give me a pitch and if I like it they can then get a loan from me and pay it back bit by bit." he answered her.

~Yukihara Tanaka~ Investment is something Yukihara doesn't quite understand, hence why her current career path is where it is now with music. It hasn't quite taken off yet, but when she has gotten a large enough fan base, then that is when she will be living the high life. However, this man seems to be profiting as an investor, so perhaps with time, hard work and real understanding of how to loan money, then one can profitable. Its almost the same concept with her music, with the exception that she has to provide good music instead of knowing how to invest. She took another bite of her seafood pasta before she replied,
"I don't think I would be cut out for investment. To be honest I think there are too many things going on there and I'm not so good with money...right now I'm relying on the good nature of people on the streets to help me pay for my next cheeseburger...among other stuff to pay for. I don't plan on staying where I am as a musician...I want to make it big...I want to be that guitarist that can play anything...any genre...any style...I don't know how I will do it, but I will get there...but its good that you found something that is making you a lot of dough. Hmm...maybe I should have asked this first but...can I assume that you and you're family are werewolves? I guess it would make sense from what you said earlier about the full moon..."

Salomon nodded. "Yes we're werewolves. Every full moon we wolf out and change." He told the girl with grin. "As head of my families household I am pack leader, it's another reason I wish to have a child. My child would become pack leader." He told the girl so she knew about his situation. "My work isn't for everyone and only a few of my nephews could even manage investment, but never a pack."

~Yukihara Tanaka~ So he is a werewolf, and the rest of his family are werewolves too. It would make sense that he is the leader of the pack since he appeared to the oldest and wisest considering what he has told her about his family. No one in the family seemed qualified to take over his business, so his only hope was to have a child who would inherit his wealth, but he must have a bride first. Well, he doesn't necessarily need a bride to have a heir, so he must be a traditionalist compared to the morals of the modern day and age: people who follow the traditional rules are few and far. Yukihara has asked enough questions for now, at least until maybe Salomon can satisfy his own curiosities about her. It was just a matter of being fair to guy.
"I guess I can understand your dilemma. My parents may not have been rich but I wouldn't be able to do what they do...I couldn't be satisfied by doing a job that pays week after week. I...I have to do something inspiring...creative...risky...it doesn't earn much right now but I will make something out of it...umm, I'm sure you have many questions for me like I do for you. I already asked enough for now, so is there anything you like to know about me?"

Salomon thought for a moment. He did have a few questions for her, most of it would be part of the romancing. They were just looking for now, but the old man was ready to sweep Yukihara off her feet. "What if your favorite flower? Your favorite animal and color?" He asked her. It would help him figure out what presents he should get her later.

~Yukihara Tanaka~ The questions Yukihara got asked were not questions she typically got asked by men her age. The typical question was "Can you become 'blank' girl?", where the 'blank' portion is filled in for some type or an actual girl from their fantasy, such as the blue girl from the Avatar movie or a succubus from a manga. It made her think a little bit about her answer, but it didn't take too long for her to respond to Salomon despite a delay in which had to eat some of the clams in her seafood pasta.
"A favorite flower...a rose would be too typical and I only like the black rose anyways...but for a favorite flower, it would definitely be a sunflower. For animals, I guess I should say which is my favorites for domestic and exotic. I love gold retrievers for domestic and lions for exotic. Color...thats a tough one for me...I always love the dark colors but to pick which ones I love the most...its always between purple, red and navy blue...back to me. You got any hobbies whenever you are not investing?"

Salomon grinned. He would remember what she said later for gift ideas. Then she asked other one of her questions. The man chewed a piece of steak as she answered and asked another question. The man thought for a good moment. "Reading books, photography, and writing." He answered. He was going to joke around first and say taking pretty girls out for lunch, but he stopped himself. "What is your favorite type of food?" He asked her.

Kain & Matt
Vandurn ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄Kain walked into work and was having a conversation with his brother, Matt. "So that is the secret for traveling at the speed of light." Kain said as he explained to his younger twin about the science class he is taking at school. Matthias completely ignored his brothers words as he walked into the restaurant. "I'm happy you are having so much fun at school but now we gotta work." Matt said and was never serious about anything. It made Kain smile that he was taking some responsibility.
The twins grabbed some aprons and immediately went to work. They had not seen their boss yet so maybe being a few seconds late wouldn't kill them. Matt walked passed a table that had a young girl and an old man...it was nice to see a grandfather take his grand daughter out to a nice place.▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄

~Yukihara Tanaka~ Favorite food: what is Yukihara's favorite food. Its a tricky question for her because she always gets caught in between Italian and Japanese cuisine. Italian food always taste amazing to her as it does now with the seafood pasta, but Japanese cooking reminds her of home so it is her comfort food. When it comes down to it, neither cuisine can't beat each other so she will have to say both are her favorite.
"Well, I love Italian food, although at this point I don't think it would be a surprise, but I do enjoy Japanese food too because I had that most of the time growing up...but I don't think that really answers your question very well. If I had to pick my favorite food from each of them, then I say I love pizza from Italy and dumplings from Japan. Just so that I can say more about myself...my hobby is to dance in the rain...I know its weird but I can't help but get excited to do that....I didn't think I talk this much about myself to someone I just met."
As she finished her seafood pasta, a dark skin elf wearing a glimmering black dress with black sleeves approached the table with a tiramisu dessert on a plate and placed it in the middle of the table. The elf said it was for the special occasion the two were having before and told them to enjoy in Italian before went off to talk to other people at some of the tables near them. Judging by the dress, she could have been a manager or even the owner. Nevertheless, the dessert plate looked so good and she couldn't help but grab one of two spoons provided and dig in.
"Mmm...if I had to pick a favorite dessert from Italy it would be this...then again I am sucker for coffee desserts...they're never too sweet."

~Luthien Tasartir~ Luthien figured that now would be a good time to get away from the office and spend time talking to some of her customers just to see if the overall lunch experience so far is living up to everyone's expectations at Linguini's. Who knows, maybe it turned out to be better than what everyone was expecting, which is always a good thing. Her first stop was in the kitchen to make sure that the executive chef and his team are keeping up with food orders and cleanliness at the same time. She even checked to see if they will have enough food for the evening, which is when they need all the food they have their hands on. Everything seemed to be looking okay so now she can go out to the dining room and check if all the employees are doing their jobs and every customer is happy. As she would walk through the dining room, people who take notice of her would see this beautiful and young dark skin elf in a glittery black dress with detached black sleeves. The dress reached all the way to her angles and flowed gracefully with each step she took her black heels. On her walk she spotted the twins Matt and Kain, but Matt was closer to her so she decided address him first because she spotted something not quite right with him. She gestured the boy to come to her as she walked to a corner where no one can see them, and when the boy was next to her, she grinned at him as she fixed the boy's shirt collar.
"There we go. Looking good in front of the guest is important. You don't want anyone to think that you or anyone in the restaurant is sloppy don't you? It sends a bad message. Okay! Off you go now! Remember to use some Italian phrases when you talk to the customers! Make them feel like they're in Italy!"
She said to the boy cheerful way before she walked towards Kain and did the exact same thing she did to Matt with the shirt collar.
"Twins think alike don't they? Messy messy messy. The two of you work a bit harder than some of my employees do so I expect a little better. Okay, you're all set now! Go off and make our customer experience stupendo!"
She giggled softly as she left Kain to talk to some of the customers and even entertain them for little bit. This continued with every table she decided to visit until she spotted a table with a young woman in a blue dress and an older gentleman in a fancy suit. There was something special about the two that her go back to the kitchen, asked the chefs to plate her a piece of tiramisu before she took it herself to that table with two spoons, set it down for them and smiled at the two of them as she said.
"For your special occasion, I give you this tiramisu. Don't worry, it is on the house. If you need anything else, don't be afraid to ask. Mangia!"
Before they could say anything to her, she moved on to another table to check on their dining experience, and she would keep doing this for time before she would stand by the door with the hostess and greet customers coming in as well as say goodbye to those who are leaving.

Vandurn▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄Matt saw his boss gesture him to come over to her and like a loyal dog he did. He thought he did something wrong. He looked kind of scared but when he found out that it was only to fix his collared shirt he kinda laughed at himself. Matt should have known by now that his boss, Luthien was as nice as can be. "Thank you Miss Luthien. I will" once the collar was fixed Matt was off to go wait on tables. He smiled and spoke in that italian accent he pride himself so much on.
Kain had heard the italian accent and he was hoping that his brother would not get punched in the face for speaking in a way that might come off as offensive. "I apologize Miss Luthien, It will not happen again." Kain said as he promised to do better and make the customers experience something magical. Kain took orders down and went back to the kitchen where the orders will be fulfilled. Matt on the other hand was taking drink orders and saying italian words as the boss ordered. Kain couldn't help but laugh and get into a quick conversation with one of his customers. They were flirting with him of course but he let the comments roll right off his chest. At work, nothing distracted them.▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄

Salomon smiled at the girl. He was glad to allow her one of her favorite types of meals right off the bat. He was also excited that she also liked Japanese food. "Maybe you could make me a Japanese meal one day." The man said with a grin. "I like almost anything, mostly meat of course." he was a werewolf of course. Then a waitress came by and set a plate of tiramisu in front of them. "I'll only eat a quarter. I'm not a huge sweet fan." He told her with a smile.

~Luthien Tasartir~ Luthien spent ten minutes by the hostess area before a chef from the kitchen approached her and told her that tonight's dinner special was ready for a taste test for the staff. Since Kain and Matt just arrived here, they shouldn't be too busy with tables so they will be the first to taste test. However, the dish must first pass her taste buds since she will not let anything but a flavorful and a presentable dish go out to a customer, and it was to be as authentic as possible so her customers get the true taste of Italy. When she arrived at the kitchen, the first thing she looked for was the dinner special: Carpaccio di pesce, otherwise known as Salmon Carpaccio. This was meant to be light and refreshing dish versus some the pasta dishes that more oriented to sauces like marinara and Alfredo. The plating of the dish was appealing and clean so the first part of the test was finished. Now the second part came: taste. Taste is crucial, otherwise the dish cannot be sold to a customer. With a plastic fork, she cut a piece of everything on the plate so she can taste everything at once and bit into it. The fish was refreshing and the vinaigrette allowed it to shine. With the fresh herbs, it enhanced the fresh taste and helped make the vinaigrette not too overpowering. Overall, it tasted good and she will let this go to the customers when dinner time comes. However, the staff needed to taste the dish so that they can sell it, so she went off to find Kain and Matt. Hopefully the two were not too busy, but she knew customers will wait for good food so once she found them, she brought them over to the kitchen so that they could taste the Salmon Carpaccio.
"The reason I brought you two here is for food...how lucky right? You guys get to eat some food. This here is Carpaccio di Pesce. Salmon Carpaccio. What we have here is smoked salmon thats been thinly sliced and drizzled with a secret vinaigrette. This will be an appetizer special on tonight's menu so I need you two to taste the dish even if you're not going to be working for dinner. I will be doing the same to everyone else but I figured since the two of you just got here you shouldn't be too busy. Go ahead guys! Mangia!"[EDIT: This is the Salmon Caparccio]

~Yukihara Tanaka~ "Are you sure you don't want a little more? I know I have a sweet tooth and I did say that this is one of my favorite desserts but I would feel bad if I ate most of it. Can we at least split this 50/50 so I won't feel bad? I just want to be fair to you. Besides, this one is not so sweet like some desserts are. Its like eating coffee with cream...a slightly sweeter cream than what you would put in coffee but still taste good."
Yukihara said as she cut small pieces of the tiramisu with her spoon and savored the rich coffee flavor with every bite she took. After about a minute of savoring the piece of tiramisu in her mouth, she swallowed it and continued the conversation by saying,
"I don't think you would like my cooking. Most of my diet is whatever that is frozen in the grocery store since thats all I ever have time to eat before I go out into the streets and play some music. Maybe I'll take cooking lessons when I make enough money...but at this point I don't even think I can make rice suitable for a Japanese. Lets see...what else can I ask...I guess this is something I should ask but maybe it's too personal. Why couldn't you find a bride when you were younger? I don't know if its just you never found the right one or something else..."

Salomon grinned at the girl. "You can have as much as you like. You like it more than me." He told the girl about the Tiramisu. He wouldn't enjoy it more than she would. The man took a bite of his small portion and let it rest in his mouth for a bit. It was then that Yukihara asked about him never finding a girl. "I wasn't interested before." He answered simply after chewing his food. "I was too busy in my own world when I was younger, once I thought of taking interest, my brother died and I fell into depression."
