She had a lantern. She had a lantern. Granted he had a tablet, tea set, and life-sized dolls. And a sleeping bag that he was growing accustomed to as his jealous eyes slid over her tiny bed. He proceeded cautiously into the room, staring at it. "I dunno," he answered. "It could be just about anything. It's probably nothing but --" As he spoke, Tobias used one of the long horns fastened to his weapon to pry the box lid open, peering at what was inside.

It was a small lantern Tobias, and so dim it might as well be nothing at all. Or maybe Noemi was just ultra sensitive to the dark and the cold and...
She tried to look over his shoulder, her hand reaching out to carefully /and a bit surprisingly/ grip his arm. "be..be careful!" She whispered to him, her head popping over his arm....all she could see was...well his weapon barely touching the box...

He threw her a startled look as she unexpectedly gripped his arm, belatedly realizing duh scary moment of course she'd do that. Tobias turned his attention back to the box, shuffling the lid around until he could get it open. "All right, let's take a closer look..." Tobias gently shook her off his arm as he cautiously approached the box, pulling out his phone to shine the light in on it. He stared into the box before putting his phone away. Tobias reached into the box and pulled out a set of heavy, rusted manacles which he jangled at her. "Kinky. You gonna be using these?"

She was expecting something to pop out, light to shine on moving skull or bones, not...not...
"What are those?" She narrowed brown eyes at the shackles and then stuttered at his assumption she would be doing ANYTHING with them.
"I..I would...not...such a thing...How could you assume..." She started to blush, but because the assumption was so off she didn't even know how..."I would...never use those things...for anything." She rubbed her cheeks and came closer to peer in the box. "A lot of old metal work here. I suppose I can throw it into another room yes?" She attempted grip the box, making a small oomph. At least she knew she could get it out safely without things dumping on her.

Her reaction was too much. Tobias openly laughed, not bothering to smother or hide it as he shook his head and dropped it back into the box. "Yeah, you could do that or hang onto it. Might be able to fasten some of these together to form a sort've lock for your room or someone else's." He shrugged, adding, "You could essentially lock someone in their room if you hook one of these to someone's door, then hook the other end onto the door across the way." She didn't look like the type to do it to him, but you never know. "D'you need help with that?" He offered, adjusting his weapon so that the guard fit snug across his palm just in case.

She didn't appreciate your laughing...but it might've earned a relieved smile from the girl. It was small and very much hidden by the dark but...It felt nice hearing laughter in something she feared the most.
"Hang on to it!?!" She squeaked from her part of the box. Mind you it was. Box, torso of the girl and legs. She was a bit on the small side after all. "I do not wish to lock anyone inside their rooms. Some don't even have doors to lock." She added, pointing to Milo's room across from her with it's bars and sheets.
She made a small sound and huffed.
"I worked on farm for a long time, If I couldn't lift this, then I wouldn't be able to bail the hay or cart the pigs." She nodded, "I would like to just drop these off somewhere else for others to deal with...or take what they want from..." From her box vision, she was giving you a look Tobias. One that stated he had odd collection tendencies.

Tobias held his hands out and gave her a wide shrug. "Hey, it was just a suggestion. You need me for anything else or...?"

Noemi huffed as she dumped the box somewhere...not her room before coming back and rubbing her hands together.
"Ah no! I don't want to keep you for anymore of your time Tobias!" She nodded, "Thank you very much for your help, I will attempt a reward for you...uh...when...I can." She started to fidget. "It was nice meeting you..." Okay thank you Tobias now out of her room.
Out out out...gentle pushes left the death hunter staring at the closed door behind him.
Later Noemi would remember that she never found out about the glowing blue light.
