Shadow Mew's calm demeanor was a stark contrast to her opponent's rage. The mew was hit directly by a blast of wind that cut through her flesh and chilled her to the bone. Shadow gasped and dropped a few feet.
"Shadow!" Zinnia cried in alarm from her place in the trainer's box.
The mew pulled herself together and summoned another gust of ghostly wind.

Mara was hit by the winds, but it only made her falter for a bit. She could see that her opponent was getting weaker and weaker, and this was not the time to back down.
"Mara! Keep attacking! We can do this! ...Maybe!!!" shouted Charlotte.
Channeling all her anger into her attack, Mara unleashed another mighty whirlwind towards Shadow Mew.

Shadow Mew staggered and fell until she was hovering only inches above the stadium floor.
"That's enough! We forfeit!" Zinnia shouted.
The legendary teleported out of the stadium and back to her trainer's side. Zinnia gave a small nod and held up the mew's master ball. Shadow bumped her nose against the button in the center and was returned in a beam of red light.
"Thanks for the battle!" Zinnia called to her opponent. She hurried out to heal Shadow back to full health and make sure she was all right.

Mara watched in abject horror as her opponent teleported away. All that and she just... leaves? She was too angry to move. To her, this wasn't a victory, but merely an insult.
Charlotte, however, thought differently. "Oh uhh, I guess that means we win! HOORAY!!" she cheered. "Finally, a victory for you, Mara! I'm gonna get you so many PokePuffs for this yaaaaay!!!" She returned her pokemon back into her ball and skipped out of the trainer box.
"You're welcome, and thank YOU!" Charlotte shouted at Zinnia, who was already making her way out. She was pretty proud of Mara standing her own against a legendary pokemon, but hoped that her anger would subside soon.
