"My domain encompasses far more than mere trinkets," Phaedra purred, her eyes closing to mere slits. "The offer stands. Consider it... or keep it for later. I do not often offer boons."
She let the mana fade, then stretched, her feathers fanning briefly. "Lead on, then, dear Industry."

"Oh I'm sure it does my Lady, but as of the moment there is nothing I require. The information is not mine to tell." He led her from the older part of the town to the newer, his glory. The streets were laid out neatly with a central square that would eventually contain shops and municipal buildings.
Down one of the smaller streets he stopped outside a unassuming tall terraced house, there were velvet curtains at the large windows, the door was painted a pale pink. 'The Rose Garden' an elegantly written sign declared.
Isambard led Greed up the steps and through the painted door. Inside it was hard to believe there had ever been destruction and decay. They were stood in a reception room elegantly decorated in feminine colours and fabrics. It was still early, several women in elaborate and exotic dress lounged about on the comfortable couches they looked up as he entered and regarded both gods with looks of curious interest."My Lord Industry." A petite women stood from her seat and crossed over to them. She wore a tightly laced, bustled dress of fabric a similar pink to the door, her golden hair piled up on her head in an elaborate design. "What do we owe this pleasure?""Elora. I'd like you to meet Lady Phaedra, Goddess of Greed." He gestured to the feline goddess. "Lady Greed, this is the Djinn, Elora. Mistress of the Rose Garden, my eyes and ears among the masses." Elora turned her violet eyes to the goddess and gave her a smile. "My Lady, this certainly is a pleasure." She bowed her head respectfully.

My, my, he had done well indeed. There were gods who had been present far longer who had done far, far less than Isambard had already achieved. Phaedra's estimation of the god only rose as they went further into his demesnes.
She apprised the woman - Elora - and received her due obeisance with a charming smile, remembering what Isambard had said of his source. Slave and servant to greed, was she? "Your lord tells me you have news of interest... rumor regarding a god's rebirth. I seek a lady of the Underworld."

"Please, make yourselves comfortable." Elora gestured to the comfortable couches that were dotted around the room. "Underworld, I have not met her but I know her niece and nephew. Crow and Funeral, they got me out of a rather sticky situation involving a lamp and a tomb. They are the children of ... The Spirit Guide?" They never really referred to their father as anything other than father, though they had mentioned his 'job' many times. "I believe Lady Underworld lives with them, they refer to her as Auntie Val."

One of Phaedra's ears twitched just a bit at the mention of the Spirit Guide. Oh, she remembered her joke of lady Rainbow... but he would likely not think kindly of her. Best to steer clear, especially when children were involved. "The fact you know she exists alone is fair coin," the goddess murmured, waving one hand and calling up a delicate handful of rose gold chain. A pendant of subtle design tumbled free of her fingers. "Do you know where this Auntie might dwell? I mean her no harm - indeed, she may be quite pleased to see me."midnight_medea we might want to plot out if she and Phae knew each other surprised

Elora smiled at that, it didn't matter to her whether she meant her harm or not. She had no connection to the goddess of the dead. The Djinn watched the gold chain as it formed and turned her eyes up to the goddess. "With the Spirit Guide and Number, in the Pantheon. I think the child said the room had a door with a mosaic and another door with a crow in flight on it."Isambard listened to the description of the doors and remembered that he had actually been there. "She's correct, I've met with Number, she showed me how to work the doors. Both doors lead to the same room. The mosaic spiral or the more sombre field and crows."Sosiqui It's entirely possible that they might. She doesn't remember a whole lot at the moment in her implanted state. She was laid back and into throwing parties in her Valhalla style hall. Something Phae might have enjoyed?
