There was nothing left to say as Mvua left with Matifa, leaving the mother and cub away from the pride. They were odd, but hopefully in time they would adjust to being a pride instead of rogue life. Of course she could not help but toss a glare towards Nolaka's way as the trio returned to the rest of the pride.
Wary eyes watched the them leave, making sure they were far enough away before reaching over and picking the young cub up by the loose skin on the back of her neck. Gently she placed her back in a ring made by her legs and paws, draping the cubs body across them.
"Mooom~" Ukame groaned as she swiped playfully at the mouth of her mother. "I was just starting to make friends. Why did you tell them to go?" She was curious and while her mother's previous tone made her cautious, her instincts kept her curious.
"You'll learn in time." Mcheni murmured down to the cub before running a tongue over the top of her head.
