"Your wings.. you're a sparkler.." She pointed with her muzzle. "Or am I mistaken?" She blinked looking at his face. With his confused look she wasn't sure. Akuba seemed to nod his head and smile.. but then may be he was just being nice.. She couldn't really tell. "I'm sorry if I'm confusing.. some things are.. fuzzy still.." She frowned some and turned her head to the opposite side to show the scab on her head from where she'd hit her head on the rock. At least she wasn't smelling that metallic blood smell any more.

Faid Shadowlight He looked at his folded wings, still not sure what made him a sparkler, spreading them to have a better look before folding them up again... That was too damn cold. Shivering as his filmy wings drew the cold in like a vacuum. "Flutter? Partially..." If that's what she was meaning, his grandmother was a flutter, well one of them. He nodded and turned to keep walking, the water not being far from here now.

She nodded her head in reply "I think that's what they're called.. bug wings... Usually have a sparkle to them." She furrowed her brow as she thought, wracking her brain to try to remember what if any time she had heard their proper name before now. "That what their called? Flutters?" She looked hopeful. So much of herself had been lost with the bonk to her head.. she needed to know she was regaining or relearning in this instance some things.

Faid Shadowlight He nodded. "Flutters." Not looking back as he confirmed that, still walking along, not knowing this area very well but he knew it enough to know what she wanted was near. It was a shame this wasn't the area he had spent a good portion of his foalhood in. That had had hot springs near by, he groaned softly at the idea of climbing in one now, trouble was getting out would leave the same trouble with being freezing afterwards. Moving out of her view after a while revealing a semi frozen pond.

She eyed the pond a little dubiously. She knew she'd need the bath.. but seeing the partially frozen pond made her want to rethink the idea. "Cold.." She gave an involuntary shudder. "Thank you Rigel..." She gave him a friendly smile and made her way towards the pond to give it a look over.
A quick dip.. That's all I need.. she thought to herself as she surveyed the water. Just get the mud off and then try to get warm.. Stepping closer to the water, she stuck one hoof in,it sinking to the top on her hoof where fur met the harder stuff. Shivers ran down her back and she gritted her teeth. The other hoof then another and another till she stood in the terrible cold water. Still she looked back at where she'f left Rigel to see if he'd lingered for conversation.

Faid Shadowlight Rigel stood looking pained as she edged her way into the freezing water, not about to leave, it would be just insane to leave her there alone, cold water could do some very evil things. So he stood where he had moved and waited quietly to make sure she was going to be ok. But yeah, it was clear that he was feeling the cold even more as he watched.

She gave a rather sheepish look and edged a little deeper into the freezing water. Once she was deep enough, she lowered her muzzle and tried as best as she could to wash off the mud without actually dunking the whole of herself. One spot wasn't coming clean though. The stubborn patch of mud was just stuck tight. Taking a breath, she slouched further, dropping to her knees in the water so it washed up over her back and to half way up her neck.
Her eyes flashed wide with this rush of added cold. Gritting her teeth, she didn't stay long in the water. Fully cleaned or not she needed out. Rearing to her feet, she took off like a shot out of the water. "Cold cold cold!" She shivered as her teeth chattered and she ran around Rigel a few times trying to keep her blood pumping.
