"Uhhhh..." Well, that was a generous offer. And one that, normally, Pas would be happy to take Kahah up on! However, things had changed since he and his brother had left the pride so many moons ago to find their adult names.
"I can't, Kahah, I'm sorry," the white lion apologized. "It's nothing against you - really! - it's just that I'm traveling with someone now." He shrugged helplessly, a sheepish smile on his face. "She told me to stay put, so that she can find me again."
Not to mention that he really, really didn't want to lose her the way he could lose himself. So even if he got twitchy and fidgety and impatient, Pas was willing to keep his butt planted right here where Susu'mimiteh could find it easily.

Right. For some reason he didn't exactly believe Pas, but then again, Pas wouldn't lie, so all Kahah did was roll his shoulders. The dynamics really had changed. Sighing hard, the black male just looked his brother over and gave an unimpressed look. "Oh, well.. I hope she comes back soon. Night's falling quickly and it gets really cold out here. So.. I'm going to go back. If I don't find you again, I'll see you back in the pride, eventually."
This whole thing had put a huge damper on his mood. He didn't want things to change like they had, but here he was, facing reality. Reality could suck his claws. With one more look, the dark male just headbutted his brother before he turned his back to take off again.
Now he was sad.
