" Well, I guess I can call it make-up so long as I don't say I wear it." Tink chuckled and blinked. " I do use them. My sisters love painting me up." He laughed as a hat was dropped on his head. " Why, thank you, dear. I fear I suffer the same fate." He slowly tipped the hat back enough to look at her and talked in affected voice. " Oh my, the color looks just darlin' on you. "

What was that accent? Laughing out loud now, the filly tilted her own hat back and smiled, actually enjoying pretending to be someone she really wasn't, if only for a few minutes. "Green..? Well... I guess..! I never really...." Banana Creme blushed a bit when she thought of herself actually looking nice with a different colour, though she hurriedly switched the spotlight to him.
"You look so different with a hat like that... I guess you were right, Tink. Though... I do like that small top hat." Clearing her throat, the phony blinked and looked away, trying out her own accent to parrot Tink's own. "I think it suits you mighty well, dear Tinker."

Tink gave a soft laugh and removed the large sun hat, trotting around her to removed hers and came back with a large can-can girl feathered headband to place on Banana Cream. " Now, shake your tail feathers, girl!"

Shaking her head happily, the feathers flopped around her mane, tickling her nose and making her sneeze, fluffing her yellow and vaguely pink hair up and making it messy. Catching the sight of herself in the vanity's mirror, she nearly snorted, giving Tink a sideways glance. "I look like an angry canary."

Tink let out a twittering laugh and grinned. " But a cute angry canary." He bolted away into the racks of clothes and came up wearing a cop hat, a blue tutu and a large purple feather boa wrapped loosely about his shoulders. " Hmm, I couldn't find shoes to match. Just hoofcuffs..."

"Well... A fluffy one, at least." Banana Creme reached up to take off her feathery headband, peering down at it for a brief moment. What was this? Was she actually having fun..? How in the world was that possible? Blinking up at Tink as he came running back out of the clothes, she had to stifle a laugh but couldn't hold it in any longer, seeing the abuse of colours against his green little body.
"Now you look ridiculous... I dunno what in the world you could possibly find to match that... But I'll give you an A for creativity. ...I kinda like that boa, after all."

Tink grinned widely when Banana Creme laughed and added his own chortled. " I was thinking blue pearl slippers, but I couldn't find them." He grinned and took a seat, wrapping the boa around the filly. " Hmmm, I think we need be painted up a bit if we are going to be Show Phonies."

Nuzzling her face into the boa Tink had curled around her neck, the filly smiled into the feathers, secretly happy to be having so much fun with someone like this. It had been ages since she acted her "age", and she was remembering that it was perfectly okay to let go and just forget your troubles every once in awhile. When the green colt piped up to suggest giving each other makeovers, Banana Creme nodded, already moving over to grab some of the necessary equipment to paint up Tinker Toy's face in the most ridiculous manner possible.
BC was a detail-oriented person and she knew this, absolutely determined to paint a masterpiece on the other phony's face with the fine tip of the black eyeliner. "Alright, now sit still. I'm gonna make you look like one of those living pieces of art." She nodded, ready to draw swirls and stars to bring out his eyes and make him look like a million bucks-- .... Or... Maybe not. Depends on who you're asking. Creme knew she was no artist, but with the small felt tip of the liquid eyeliner, the phony was confident that she could at least use basic shapes to express a whole story on Tink's small face.

The colt gave a soft laugh before sitting quiet still. " Like Mister TACO?" He smirked before letting his features go back to a small tiny grin. He relaxed as she started painting his face, used to his sisters' many makeovers. Glee warming his chest at hearing BC's chuckles and laughs. He peeked one eye open for a moment, she looked so much better with a smile and little wrinkle of concentration on her face.

After a few minutes of having the other phony sit perfectly still, Banana Creme stepped back to survey her work. With the varying shades of gold, silver, and black eyeliner, the filly had managed to replicate all the detail of a Venetian half mask across the top half of Tink's face. With a nod, Creme urged the other to look into the mirror, proud of her quick work with the detail of the eyeliner. "You're ready for a ball now, Tink. No phony will recognize you with that mask on..." Promptly taking a seat back down on the floor, the filly moved the boa to keep it from getting messy as she tilted her head up, her tail flicking happily behind her. "Ah, now it's my turn. Let's see what you can come up with."

Tinker stared at himself in the mirror for a long moment, tilting his head this way and that at the sight of the dark paint on his face. " It's lovely, amazing, awestriking!" He gave her a wide warm smile before settling back down before her. " Indeed, it is. Close your eyes" He picked up a brush with a grinned before he began to paint her slowly. More familiar with his mother's make up, he soon had painted a glam rock style make up on her. A large glittery star over one of her eyes, and then a soft lined strikes and eye shadow around the other side. Purples, yellows and blues adorning her face. " There! Like sunshine"

Banana Creme had sat completely still while Tinker Toy painted her, and when he finished, she grinned and moved over to the mirror, admiring her face for a moment before letting out a roar of laughter like she had never experienced before. The filly was laughing so hard, she could hardly contain herself and nearly began to cry from the force of the happy emotions, but she kept herself from doing so if only to keep the makeup clean. Turning back to face Tink, Creme smiled, her tail flicking sweetly behind her. "I look amazing. More than fabulous, Tink. Thank you." Reaching out just a little, the filly hooked an arm around the younger colt, giving him a hug before stepping back with slight embarrassment.
"This is the most fun I've... I've ever had. Let's... Do this again some time, okay..?"

Tinker Toy's ears perked as she began laughing, a splitting grin growing on his face as her laughter grew louder and louder until a chortle bubbled up from his own chest, and soon he was laughing with her. He gave her a quick peck on the cheek and grinned. " I think that would be a fantastic idea!"
