From what I know the revolution isn't competing...or that's what they say so don't expect top of the line games...I'm not expecting games rated over T really... (I can't count that many over T on the GC) Let's just pray they actually tested the system throughly so nothing bad will happen with it as big as the 360

Winter mink the nintendo revolution is coming soon! it is smaller than you think and is going to be really popular! razz Yeah definatly,My BF is wanting this system and wants me to get it too,so I'm might going to get it,so I'm looking for to seeing what it's going to be like 3nodding

I mean, I'm skeptical about the new controller, but then I remember that Nintendo has always pionered new controller technology (duckhunt gun, Joysticks for the 64, ect...) and most of their ideas have worked. They wouldn't release a horrid product. They've seen, in Sega, what happens to companies that release sub-par systems. (even though I liked the Dreamcast personally...) Oh my god I love you! You're the first person I've seen to say that you liked the Dreamcast! It was so good with the graphics when it came out, a total breakthrough then....definitely kicked the PS out the door. Too bad no one ever really knew about it. However, PS3 may be cool because of the cool new CD's they're coming out with however, this system will cost about $500 gonk ! considering the graphics look like the 360, I'd stick with the 360. Also, I don't think Nintendo will do that well, from what I'm hearing, everyone's grossed out with their "cool new controller", and I haven't seen any SEGA games that will be coming out for the Revolution which is kinda funny.

I want my PS3... even though I think the Revolution is going to be awesome. I won't buy it, I'll let my bf do that, he's the Nintendo fanatic. I never liked the XBox, the only redeeming games it had was Halo and Fable (and even that went to PC). Yea, I don't like Microsoft all that much.

emliy i think nintendo revolution is going to be better than ps3 and 360. most people mistake great graphics for a great system, which ps3 and 360 both have. especially 360. nintendo isn't focusing as much on great graphics, instead they're focusing on great gameplay (which they've been known for in the past - aka zelda, mario, etc), and affordable prices. which in my opinion, makes it way better. PLUS, the revolution is the only system that's really trying something new. sure it's risky, but nintendo's been known to do this successfully in the past, and i think it's really going to "revolutionize" gaming. but yeah, i can't f*cking wait!!!!!!!! Exactly! And Nintendo isn't concerned about quadrupling horsepower unlike Microsoft and Sony.

I'm not sure how popular it'll be, since market-wise Nintendo is lagging behind (tragic, but unfortunately true). However, I think Nintendo has a solid fanbase that will rally to the console, and a lot of people will try it simply because it's a new console.
I know I'm going to give it a shot (once I have that kind of money, that is...>__<), in spite of my doubts about the new controller.

I'm really looking forward to the NR. However, I am, and always will be a huge fan of the Play Station. I will be waiting in line when it comes (buying a warranty too....). I will never doubt that the 360 has great graphics, but in my opinion, the play station always had better games, or, at least more of them. Nintendo always had games that were great for getting a whole crap load of people to come over and play together. I guess every system will have its perks. That's why my boyfriend is getting the 360, and I will be buying the playstation, and I might go ahead and buy the revolution.

FOr me the only good thing that the Revolution will have is that you will be able to download the games from the COmp. They have already said that the graphics of the Revolution wont surpass the ones from the 360 neither the PS3. The controller... For me it's gonna be a pain in da a** to play with one hand only >,<;
