I am the shadow, and smoke in your eyes. A young teenaged boy stepped in front of the doorway, peering into the room with his head tilted. Or...what at first looked to be a boy. The pale white skin, criscrossed with interlocking seams, the stiff, formal posture at which he held himself, and the various clicks and subtle hums that emanated from him indicated that the boy was of artificial construction. He looked at the door, his lenses scanning it up and down, before he seemed to come to a conclusion and rap against the door, hoping to alert anyone inside of his presence and wish to enter. I am the ghost, that hides in the night.

ℑessie ℳulcahy Jessie had been listening to Ryan recite his poem with a small smile on her face as she laid against the sheets. She had just been about to comment on his prose when she heard the knock at the door. Looking down at herself she quickly covered herself and motioned for Ryan to do the same. "I behaved myself and everything that time." She whispered as she looked towards the door. Standing up she ducked into the bathroom, the stolen sheet about her and peeked out from the doorway. "You answer it Baby."

Hey baby, won't you take a little ride with me. Have a look around, See what we can see. I've got the paddle, I've got the boat. Come on baby, I know she'll float. We'll go rolling on the river of love. ❤ Peter Ryan ❤ "If I could breathe, I'd sing a song for you. Life's but a dream, and I'm dreaming of you."
"Wuss."
Ryan sighed and got up, throwing a white robe on, tying it so it covered waist down, though his chest was still exposed.
"Hold on!"
Ryan hit one of the buttons on the panel on his side, the door sliding up enough for Ryan to stick his head through. After all, Jessie may have been in a sheet, but he knew she'd still be upset if he opened the door wide.
"May I help you?"
Drift away from all these city lights, Might rock a little bit, So hold on tight. Let's get carried away with the gentle flow. Might get caught up in its undertow. We'll go rolling on the river of love.

I am the shadow, and smoke in your eyes. Aingel would be staring intently at a small button next to the door, apparently a chime or doorbell of some sort, but when the door opened, he looked up at Ryan, refocusing his lenses on the man. "I extend greetings. I am Aingel, an infiltration droid that was recently activated in this vessel's cargo hold. Because I am unable to contact my handlers, I have been placed under Kyon Luna's temporary charge until I would be able to." He tilted his head, noting a woman in the room. A quick cross-check of the ship's roster sent to him identified her as a Jesse Mulcahy. The man in front of him was Peter Ryan. The droid blinked as a small icon popped up in his vision, indicating an archived file Ferogan Military reports that contained a reference to Ryan. Aingel bookmarked the file for later review, and looked up at Ryan, tilting his head. "I have been provided with accommodations down the corridor. Currently, I am trying to familiarize myself with this ship and its crew." I am the ghost, that hides in the night.

Ryan just stared.
"An android, eh?"
He looked over his shoulder at Jessie, before looking back at the android. he had no idea what a "Kyon" was, but if the word was in front of Luna's name, he was guessing it was his equivalent of "Captain."
"Well, Jessie and I aren't actually crewmembers. We're simply passengers. I could point you to someone who would know most of the people on this ship, minus the refugees, of course."
It wasn't that he wanted to get rid of the android, just that he couldn't really help it.

I am the shadow, and smoke in your eyes. Aingel nodded, then tilted his head, his lenses adjusted. He cross-checked the roster and indeed saw that many were not crew members of this ship. In fact, there was a very small number of crew members for a ship of this size. The casualities of the incident that killed his handlers must have been excessive, he surmised. "Your offer is appreciated, and would be helpful, sir. Please direct me to this individual." I am the ghost, that hides in the night.

I am the shadow, and smoke in your eyes. After a slight pause, however, Aingel suddenly seemed to become distracted as the ship jumped to hyperspace. He gave a thoughtful hum, then nodded lightly to Ryan. "I thank you for your help, sir. I have decided that the best course of action is to seek out a recreational area, in an attempt to insert myself into a more social enviornment. Have a pleasant day." The droid gave a stiff bow, before turning and walking out of the crew quarters. I am the ghost, that hides in the night.
