This looks fine to me, now. I read it over before and only saw a couple things, but he looks pretty well fixed up now. I'm perfectly fine with you getting a stamp of approval. :]

I finally added some refs for him. Of course, everything I put there, such as the clothes refs, can and will be tailored to fit Magesc. >3>; Those refs are the only ones I have of him. (Including me at my town's small-con, wearing my version of his coat. I am so weiiird)

Hi, the first thing I see is that his outfit might not fit the setting of the shop at all, much less how Orderites dress. I'd read up on the dress code smile You say he's dependable but how would that work out if he has impulse control issues? For example, asking him to do something and while he's doing it he decides out of impulse he needs to be doing something else and drops whatever it was that was needed of him. Unless it doesn't extend that far, but usually someone who is impulsive will do whatever they want when they want. I think those are my only comments for the time being. smile

Before I answer the question about his trait, I have read the dress code, and the following post in the newbie guide says the following-
"Feel free to not have an angelic or steam punk theme. That is fine, these are guidelines, not iron clad rules! "
I'm not trying to be rude, but because it said that I didn't need to follow the specific themes if I didn't want to, I did. However, the references I provided are mostly for his hair, colors, and jacket. He can be steampunked up, it doesn't matter to me, but I would like the jacket to be kept. 83
And plaid can be found in steampunk~ Google image search
(By the way, I'm sorry if I sound rude, I'm kind of buzzed after the party I went to tonight. |3; -Wobbly-)
As for impulsive VS dependable, Alabaster is far more inclined to complete the task he has to get done than give into his impulsiveness. If he had no tasks to complete that would force him to debate about doing the impulsive thing, then he'd feel he had no ties and he would go ahead and be impulsive.
-Trying to describe this while half-asleep- UHM. Let's say he gets a task or his friend needs his help and while he's out he sees something he really really wants. On one hand, he could be impulsive and drop his responsibilities very easily, but on the other hand, he knows how guilty he would feel for abandoning his responsibilities in favor of the thing he wanted later on.
Guilty feelings about not completing the task > The satisfaction of being impulsive instead of doing the task
I hope I've made some sense! (And haven't offended anyone. I really should be asleep right now)

Art is always a good idea, and also it looks like you got two approvals (yes? mine and Robo's?) so he should be ready for custom's month. =D A steampunk feel is encouraged, but as you pointed out, it's not absolutely required (obviously a quick glance through the existing orderites will show that a significant portion of them already don't fit particularly well with the steampunk feel). How much exactly you lean towards it when the time comes will be mostly up to you and your artist.
