A sigh was all the female managed to allow before responding to Hiroko's attempts to attack her. Jade had fought creatures far more powerful than Hiroko in her adventures. The small dragoness could only dream of matching the challenge her previous opponents had posed. Hell, she had even spat in the Keeper's face and survived. No easy feat, surrogate to the evil incarnate or not.
With a blur, the woman was soaring through the air, backwards in an elegant back flip that ended with her landing on one foot, her other slowly moving behind her to balance her majestic form. The spears were easily dodged, however the woman waved her hand, unoccupied by the heavy weapon from another dimension and a light appeared, pushing one spear away, despite the line even a mortal's eye could follow that would not have hit her. It was this move that caused a wound on the woman's hand, blood pooling on her flesh but not moving naturally with the flow of gravity. The blood did not drip, did not even slide from her flesh as she lowered it with a grin.
"You always were so quick to react without thought... I had hoped you'd die by the hands of another soul. I had hoped it'd never come to this..." Her voice seemed somber yet entertained by the form that threatened to attack."ნდომა ცხოვრება და დაჭკეთ წინაპარი იხილეთ ჭ ნდომანობა გვერდით მითა იხილ ბრძო." The spell was muttered as she dodged Hiroko's lunges and attacks. As fast as one blinks, the blood from her hand shot up into the air and wrapped itself around Hiroko's wrists and ankles, suspending her in the air.
"Had you been perhaps a bit more cautious about your footwork, dear, perhaps you would have had a chance of making me bleed, or at least even wince." She took a step closer to the Hiroko, helplessly suspended in the air. "But, as I said before, I have plenty enough bullets for you and this filthy stain on my past." The woman cocked her head as the blood from her left wrist tightened it's animated grasp upon the girls limbs, smoke rising from the points of contact as the flesh began to rot and melt. "When you see him, tell the Keeper I'm coming for him next."
A loud explosion filled the air of the forest, causing birds to rise from their perches within the confines of conifer and greens. Blood splattered upon the ground and Hiroko's body followed it down, limp and lifeless, points where Jade's blood had held her looked as if they had been seared and dead for hundreds of years. Jade didn't even bother to look at the body on the ground, she simply turned her attention back to Azya.
"I never did really like her and her meddling..." She took a step forward, licking a drop of blood that had splattered onto her lip away seductively as she approached the man who had single-handedly ruined her life. "As for your questions... I do not spurn rot. In fact, if not for your filth and disease, I would not be the woman who stands before you. I would not be as experienced and strong as I am now, I would not..." A smile danced upon her lips, truly amused as she glanced the necromancer up and down, her gaze lingering on his 'jewels' for just a moment. "Know the things I know about you, my dear..."
She was close enough to bite him, to sink her teeth into his soft rotting flesh. The flesh she had once desired to be against hers. Now she only wanted it to burn. "And, yes, beloved... I have done this before." She leaned forward and kissed his neck, licking it ever so slightly, her tongue ring dragging along the very same spot he used to moan for back in the day. The memory amused her. "I have killed you a million times in other dimensions but none of them mattered because you were already wasted in them. You were already a puppet to the Keeper." It was at this point that Azya would begin to feel the effects of her wicked magic. The pulling of the time threads she so fondly enjoyed tugging at, weaving around his throat, the part she had licked.
She now turned to Jade, expecting Azya to begin writhing in pain in any moment as his animated flesh and bone slowly began to decay to its rightful rot. "Darling, Jade. I am you and you are me. Well, I'm you had Azya actually gone through with his intentions of murdering you and feeding you to his beloved Keeper, the puppet behind his corpse." A careless wave of her hand indicated that she couldn't care less about what the Keeper did with Azya. Watching his skull support the base of the Keeper's foot rest was entertaining at best, however.
"Don't let his words fool you, dear; don;t make the same foolish mistake I made." She spat in Azya's direction, scorn clear on her face. "Let me just go ahead and say I don't wish to damn anyone or any realm to the Keeper. I actually have a plan to stop him but I can't risk this b*****d getting in the way of my plan. It just so happened that my personal vendetta against the infection made it all the more sweet." Her gaze turned soft as she looked at Jade, stepping over Hiroko's body as she approached the more innocent version of herself. "Join me... We can stop the Keeper and return balance to the realms as it was so many centuries ago."

Jade stood there, baffled as she watched someone who looked the same as her press a foreign metal object against the base of Hiroko's head. She seemed so aggressive, there was no way this was a part of herself, yet it was almost as if she was looking into a mirror that was muddled with dirt and blood. This woman was her from a different realm, and no doubt the insanity Jade, herself, had overcome, was not kind to the woman before her.
She insulted Azya but Jade was fearful of what this woman could do. Hell, she was fearful of what she, herself, could do. And if this woman truly was her from a different realm, then she knew all of her abilities, thoughts, etc. But she knew none of hers. This was a very bad situation to be in. The fear within her made her belly ache. For a fleeting moment, she thought of how Azya now knew about the secret she'd been trying to keep from him... He seemed to be taking it well. Or perhaps it was just the tension in the air that was not allowing him to react to the topic at hand. "Just kill me." Yep, definitely the tension not allowing him to react.
The words he spoke made her wince. She knew he was just being that bold man she adored, dancing on the tomb of the devil, trying to play his cards right. There was no way he was serious.... He'd really be willing to just up and die and leave her alone? No. That wasn't the Azya she knew and loved.... Then again it seemed this Jade knew an entirely different Azya.
Suddenly Hiroko struck, Jade hopeful that this would at least offer her and Azya a chance to escape but it was over as quickly as it had begun. The scream was stuck in her throat as she watched Hiroko, the lady of the palace, fall limp to the ground with such little effort.... How?! Jade had struggled to fight Hiroko, ultimately winning, but it was indeed a battle; even then Hiroko did not die....But... This woman, this mirror image of herself, seemed to have done the impossible with a simple flick of her wrist... The notion was terrifying.
She could barely breathe as she watched this alternative Jade kiss and lick Azya's neck in his 'sweet spot'. This upset her to no end but she could barely move. One wrong move and she could be dead just as Hiroko was. Their child needed her to be alive if no one else. The edges of her vision began to grow black as she felt faint, the child in her womb screeching within her to fight, to help. But it was too young, undeveloped, however full of energy and life it was. It was incredibly unnatural the way the child was growing and behaving.
"... had Azya actually gone through with his intentions...." The woman was talking to her now? The words nearly made the world around Jade spin. She looked to Azya as she held her stomach for an anchor to consciousness, but her vision was blurring to the point of being unable to identify what he was doing. The fact that this woman was addressing her, however, made Jade nervous. Why was a woman as coldhearted as this, not focusing on her prey? She tried to focus her vision on Azya but all she could manage was to sway a bit, feeling the need to vomit.
"Join me... We can stop the Keeper and return balance to the realms as it was so many centuries ago."
Her words sounded genuine enough but Jade could barely focus, trying so hard to keep it together. They were going to die here, along with Hiroko; Azya, her, and their unborn child... They were going to be killed by some other-dimension weapon. Tears welled in the white haired witches eyes as, for the first time since meeting Azya, she felt completely helpless. Any action she would take would result in the death of either her lover or their child... And she couldn't bare the thought of losing either. All she could manage was one, shaking word. "A- Azya..."
She fell to her knees as her struggle with consciousness was becoming more than she could bare, her body growing warm with panic. The child within her kicked at her womb furiously but Jade could only focus on breathing, not the pain. "Why.... How... Tell me what I need to do and I'll do it, just leave Azya unharmed... Please." She knew the woman would not listen to her pleads, it was a more tormented version of herself, after all. Jade knew her own capability to be heartless. But it was all she could manage as she tried to weakly crawl to Azya.
Oh how pathetic she probably looked. But that was the very least of her concerns at the moment.

...I won’t soothe your pain .............I won’t ease your strain ..........................Eyes on fire .............Your spine is ablaze Felling any foe with my gaze .......And just in time ............In the right place ..Steadily emerging with grace .One more word and you won't survive.

He watched as the woman whom had threatened them for so long die in a split second, her corpse hitting the ground with all the grace of a sack of potatoes He could practically hear the whaling of the spirits that had seen to her rise to power, it was music to Azya. This woman was an in balance, a disturbance. Claim it was by the will of this strange woman, full of hate and bad blood, but deep down he knew this was one of the ways the universe would see fit to correcting itself. They all had their parts to play.
Hirokos just so happened to be to die in a sad and ruthless manner to a woman she had under estimated. In many ways that was who Hiroko was and it should have come to no surprise she should die this way. In the past she had underestimated even the most dire threats to this palace, her survival had been based almost purely on dumb luck and the fact the Keeper enjoyed watching her family suffer more then the act of actually just finishing her off.
The woman approached him as if the last few seconds had not even occurred, all graceful curves and careful movements. Her voice was a duplicate of the woman he loved, almost exact aside from a deep knowing husky sound that could only be born from experience and confidence. A foolish man might call this attractive, a wise man would know this to be the threat it was.
Her tongue was soft, gentle and sweet. He wanted to suck on it and draw the rest of her to the ground, it was identical to the white haired Jade , a curious sensation. “You have killed Azya yes, but you have not killed me, I am someone new” She would without a doubt feel the curious beating of a heart in his throat, the old Azya’s veins had been still and dead as a stumps roots. “I cut the strings to my pu- uaagh-” he opened his mouth and found he did not have the ability to draw breath or sound, though his lungs worked frantically for a moment.
His fleshy hand rose to his rotting throat. It was a wonderful piece of magic what ever it was, the decay was rapid as if he had been in the grave for years. However he was a necromancer and though this was agonizing he had suffered far worse just by giving himself over to the Litch. His gaze rose to find her no longer standing before him but rather moving towards his Jade. His clawed skeletal hand came to life as he dropped to one knee, digging into the soft ground.
He called upon the dark power of the litch, the deep well of necrotic energy that allowed him to weave complicated necromancy with so much ease. Except the Litch was not present, not that it was gone but rather it seemed to be asleep. As if both he and it were dead. His lips mouthed a foreign curse as the rot dug ever deeper into his throat.
His back arched as black spread across his throat and up his face, the taste of dirt and mold eating into his mouth. He crawled, his black silk rising and falling to drag his gasping and gurgling corpse through the dirt until at last he rested at the side of Hiroko’s fresh corpse. He watched as Jade collapsed to her knees, his eyes had begun to turn white and dead, sight quickly leaving him.
The rot tore at his white flesh, turning it sickening green and dark brown. Skin and muscle fell from him in great heaps, His shiny silver hair looking ever more like the corpse hair it was, withered and dry. He felt his tongue rot away and become dirt in his mouth, dirt and grave worms that feasted upon the inside of his face. He managed a single scream before his left eye fell from its socket followed by a torrent of dark poisoned blood.
“Why.... How... Tell me what I need to do and I’ll do it, just leave Azya unharmed... Please.”
Plunging his skeletal hand into Hiroko’s corpse he weaved necromancy so basic it stunned him to find he actually had to concentrate on the act, this likely had something to do with his decaying brain. He drew from the woman her flesh and blood, using her body to rebuild his own throat and face. Though this did not in any way halt the rot it did at the very least slow it and in many places reverse its effects. It was enough to allow him to speak, his tongue and much of his throat regrowing. “My love no, she can have me but not you... Our child” Hirokos flesh was crawling up his arm, under his skeletal hand the corpse was rapidly aging and decomposing, even bloating and releasing noxious smells.
He could feel the Litch stirring from its slumber, and quickly harnessed what energy he could from it. Under his hand all that remained of Hiroko was dust and dirt and a few cracked bones. Her face had sunken into his skull until finally even that had caved in and become dust. Though he no longer had any dead flesh to work with he was able to hold what skin he had healed in place, though his face and throat were still decorated with hideous holes. His left cheek was completely missing, thus he wore an eternal sickening grin.

Frowning, the woman watched what Azya meant to the white haired mirror of herself. She had never been one to grovel, not even as a child, and yet here was this copy of herself, pleading to spare the leach's life... It was disgusting at best. And him... He was fighting so hard to try and fight her magic, this she found amusing but her smirk vanished immediately upon hearing his words. His words had actually managed to enrage her.
She watched the two as a predator watches prey, intrigued and desiring nothing but to flay Azya open. She had Azya whisper so many candied lies in the past, perhaps his words now of chivalrous intent were nothing less than the lies that lead her to her torment.
It was not Azya's words that sickened her, however, it was Jade, the woman she expected to be stronger, impregnated or not.
"Please! You have to know what it was like to love him!" Tears pooled in the woman's emerald eyes. She was completely powerless as she finally made it to Azya's body, holding his rotting face. She was still fighting consciousness, Jade could feel that within her fickle energy. Her desperation to save him... A sneer appeared on the woman's face, one of utter distaste.
"Jade, you cannot even begin to fathom the things your lover did to you to make you become me... I once loved him but apparently not as well as you, or else he would have never sentenced me to the timeless realm of torture I was subjected to because of his betrayal..." Her words were somber, calm, nearly sad as she waved a hand and the decay ceased on the man, his flesh not healing at all, however.
"I have traversed many realms to finally kill the Keeper in a realm in which he could be killed. I have endured many things to be here today, and I need to know Azya won't get in the way. If I fail in this, then I suppose you both will die and it won't really matter what mercy I show here... But I swear, Azya, if you betray me again I will put you down like the leach you are..." Her golden gaze turned to Jade now who was desperately kissing Azya's face, or the parts that were still whole, to breathe life back into him.
"Make no mistake, however... I loathe you, Azya, and I wish nothing more for you to be an ornament forgotten in the torturous lair of your master so you may watch as the woman you love is murdered every day and brought back impregnated with the seed of evil... I wish you the absolute worst..." Her eyes showed the signs of the white witch's skulls, the sign she was losing control of her emotions and powers. But she kept it contained. "But no matter how much I loathe you to your very rotten core... I sympathize with my past self, as stupid and foolish as she may be.... I had dreamed you'd become human one day, that we'd have children... Apparently she loved you well enough for that to happen..."
The woman turned concealing the tears welling up in her eyes, the hurt so fresh within her core she wanted to vomit. Why was she going soft now?
"Now if you'll excuse me, I have a Keeper to kill."Now she returned to her cold exterior, mad at herself for choosing to spare the one man who, ultimately caused all of this, her curse, the Keeper's return, the collision of dimensions. And here she was, cleaning up after him, and not even so much as a 'thank you' or a '******** you' or his blood on the ground. A small growl of anger left the woman's throat as she began her way towards the palace.

He was fully prepared to defend them if it came to that, should he need to he would offer far more of a challenge then the woman whom he had used moments before to repair the damage done by the strange magic. He was not sure however he could hope to win, he was clever and much of his abilities often came as a surprise to his opponents, no one ever seems to suspect a curse. A fortunate by product of everyone aiming to inflict basic mortal wounds on each other, people never suspected what he could do to them from the inside out with just a touch, or a word.
However just as he was confident in his own secret abilities he was twice as sure he had no idea what had just been used on him, all he could be sure of was that it hadn't been necromancy regardless of its appearance. His gold eyes held hers with unreadable determination, he would not allow even this woman to see the doubt that spread like spider webs in his mind. Even if he had any intention of betraying them to the keeper he would not do it in any fashion that would allow this woman to know of his part in it, unfortunately he suspected any unfortunate outcome or misadventure would be set at his feet regardless.
“Make no mistake, however... I loathe you, Azya, and I wish nothing more for you to be an ornament forgotten in the torturous lair of your master so you may watch as the woman you love is murdered every day and brought back impregnated with the seed of evil... I wish you the absolute worst...”
That infuriated him, a rare anger burned in his stomach, it made his fingers tingle and his head feel warm. A pressure that built up in his chest and the clenching of teeth. How pathetically mortal, how ruthlessly cruel his own passions had become. The bliss of undeath was lost to him now, no longer was he the cold bystander and it could be seen in the rising angry color of his face. It actually turned red, an incredibly unusual color to appear on the otherwise placid face.
Yet he remained calm, quite. An argument regarding his morality would only be a drawn out and needless fight that would most likely end with someones corpse. Worse he suspected what ever horrors had been visited upon this woman was in fact his fault, or at least the fault of something like him. He could handle her loathing, if it made her feel better then he would wrestle with the unveiled insults and likely brutal suggestions to come in silence and with absolute perfect manners. What mattered was that she wasn't killing them and above all things that was most important.
He watched the womans body language in hopes to uncover what ever emotions aside from the obvious anger she may be hiding. He didn't get much time to watch for it didn't take more then a few moments for his fingers to be tangled in soft yielding flesh and long white hair. Against his chest he could feel the incredible powerful beats of her heart, like a tiny drum hammering against him time and time again. He responded best he could to her kisses, though most ranged far from his mouth thus the best he could hope for was to wrap his arms tenderly around her.
Oddly he couldn't help a small boyish laugh, one he caught himself from completing. The hell was that? he wondered. Then he remembered the news and pressed a hand to her belly forcing himself a slight step backwards to allow himself enough room to do so. “Blackened Cloak Jade is it true?” He pressed her, his thin bony face tight against the small smile tugging against thin lips. “A child? how is that even possible?” The rage from earlier had completely vanished from his face, if one had not been watching closely it would have been no difficult thing to miss all together.
“Now if you’ll excuse me, I have a Keeper to kill.”
He tore himself from what he considered more pressing issues, knowing full well his child would simply suffer their fate if he did not ensure the Keeper was in fact ‘dead’ and not still eating souls. “How may I ask do you intend to do that all by your lonesome----”a pause “my lady” he found himself struggling with what to call the girl, he wasn't about to address her as Jade. She was not Jade, not his Jade. “Dont make the same mistake she made” The hand on Jades lower back made a motion to the pile of cracked bones at his feet. “He will kill you as you are now”

The chiming of an amused chuckled rang from the woman like beautiful bells that brought with it the news of a hanging. She looked over her shoulder at Azya, now embracing the foolish woman that was ever so unenlightened to the monster within her lover. "Azya, you never doubted me when you loved me. Why start now?" Her words were coy, mocking even as she turned on her heel and smiled, confidence radiating from her body as heat leaves a fire on a cold night.
"The Keeper was once a man. Once pathetic and vulnerable, with a thirst for power that now, he holds." She really didn't know what the Keeper was like as a mortal. She had seen him once as an infant in another dimension but it was too soon to end him there. She had to wait. Oh how she regretted the chance to kill him then and there. But the threads of time were fragile and frail, one cut at the wrong point could unravel the entire fabric.
"I intend to return him to his mortal form, then butcher him like sick swine." Her tongue ring danced against her teeth as she began to salivate at the idea of the Keeper in a million pieces. "But don't fret. I have.... allies..." Her golden gaze turned upward to the sky as she placed her gun in the holster hanging low on her back. "And if I do parish, then I'll simply hunt the Keeper from a different dimension, one before I decide to spare you, and I will return." She looked at Azya, a fire in her eyes that spoke volumes.
"Understand that I will not be stopped and the Keeper will bow to me as you once forced me to bow to him." The anger in her voice was not directed at Azya now, more in general hatred towards the Keeper. He had tormented her for millenia in a realm void of time. She had been raped, murdered, violated, tortured, over and over again, forced to house children of darkness only to have them cut from her belly prematurely, killed, and resurrected again. The visions this woman had seen had permanently left scars on her, physically and mentally. "Aid me or not, Jade, Azya, I couldn't give two ********. But the Keeper will fall. As will you if you dare to attempt stopping me, Azya. Heed my words, think of your child and woman."
With that she turned her back to them gain, her hair fanning out to the side as she did so. This time she made it clear she would not turn around again. She didn't have time to waste talking in the woods. She needed to find Alice and begin putting the puzzle pieces of their plan in place.

Azya's hands, skeletal as they were, felt amazing as they stroked her hair and embraced her. It was a sign he was very much alive after such a gruesome spell. How had she even woven a spell like that. Jade couldn't even begin to comprehend what magic she could have learned while in the Keeper's lair. Then again, she couldn't really comprehend the power of the Keeper, so it wasn't too hard to accept her ignorance with this new magic. She just held Azya as she kissed him, willing his flesh to heal to it's former handsome pale color. Hiroko had once made a comment about how hideous Azya was to her but for Jade, she saw the man within, the boy she had played with in her dreams, the boy who had seen her village burn in her memories so long ago. She saw him for who he was, not what he was, and she loved his pale cold skin that warmed each and every day.
She helped him stand as equally as he helped her stand. Seeing him well again made her illness nearly vanish, though her pregnancy-induced desire to vomit still was not gone, she kept it buried with skill and elegance. His arm around her, Jade felt as if she could take on anything again, even as the mirror before her spoke of ill wishes.
"I loathe you, Azya, and I wish nothing more for you to be an ornament forgotten in the torturous lair of your master so you may watch as the woman you love is murdered every day and brought back to be impregnated with the seed of evil..."
Jade felt Azya's fist clinch on her back, hidden within her hair. She saw the red in his face and felt him become enraged through their bond. But Jade, as insulted as she felt by the woman's cruel words, she couldn't help but feel empathetic. She was the woman Azya once loved, she was once her, and she had endured those trials, clearly... How awful it must have been to have to endure such a thing... For a moment Jade tried to place herself in that situation, a place where Azya had betrayed her and left her to a fate such as this mirrors... She felt her mind begin to break even just trying to fathom such a horrible fate. The fact this woman was standing here was inspiring at the very least. She had literally been through Hell and back. Granted she was angrier than angry, she had survived and grown stronger from it. This not only impressed Jade but made her feel empowered. But Azya clearly did not have the same thought process as Jade did.
He had grown distracted by the child within her and she had been so caught up in her thoughts she didn't notice it until he was cradling her belly, the slight bump showing larger against his thin fingers. "A child? How is that even possible?" The smile on his face made Jade smile in contentment but now was not the time to focus on what was growing inside her. She turned her attention back to the black haired witch, hoping Azya would follow suit.
"Now if you'll excuse me, I have a Keeper to kill."
This came of as incredibly cocky for a woman of even that much power. Jade would never go against the Keeper single handed, unless she had nothing to live f--. Then again, this woman before them had nothing to live for... Azya spoke up now, telling her what Jade knew. But the woman turned in response, amused and confident. She explained her theory on turning him mortal again and butchering him.... Butcher... That was it!
"Azya, the sword!" The words were whispered as she tugged gently on his arm, looking up at him. Her eyes were green now, reflecting the innocence of joy and excitement, reverting her gaze to that of the woman Azya first met years ago.

...I won’t soothe your pain .............I won’t ease your strain ..........................Eyes on fire .............Your spine is ablaze Felling any foe with my gaze .......And just in time ............In the right place ..Steadily emerging with grace .One more word and you won't survive.

How determined she must be to see this through to accept death with the expectation, if not pure certainty that another copy of her would return to attempt to finish the job time and time again. She could likely live a thousand of the same terrible existence just to see her job through. That is to say he didn't misunderstand those emotions, he knew the Keeper all to well, perhaps even better then her. To be under his complete control is a nightmare purely unique to any other. To work as his tool is to witness all things you cherish burn at your own hands, it is no easy pill to swallow especially with the knowledge you did it all in the name of personal gain.
A soft tug at his arm brought his attention back to the Jade cradled in his arms, her soft whisper roused a sigh from him. He had intended to share that information with the Hunter, fearsom though he was, he was easily the most suited warrior for a place without magic and it was his sword at any rate. Worse he could not enter this world, he would have to keep the portal open, and even if he could step within it would nullify the Litch and kill him. That meant leaving his Jade with someone, or not allowing her to go at all though he doubted he could so much as sway her to stay behind with him.
Alas the more the merrier he supposed. “wait” he sighed almost at a whisper, then louder. “WAIT.” he allowed Jade to press against his chest as he turned to face the retreating woman. “I know of a way to separate the Keepers powers from the mortal being inside.” He stroked Jades head, more to remember why he was doing this rather then to simply feel her soft hair. “Unfortunately to reach ‘it’ you will need someone to open a portal into the Keepers Vault.”
He watched her curiously. In truth it was a test, the vault was unknown even to this worlds most powerful mages, lophus included. It was a place full of incredibly powerful artifacts, all collected by the various cults and corrupt beings under the Keepers control. If she had truly spent time under the Keepers foot, she would know of the place.
She would know it lacked all magic, that even if a god were to enter it they would find themselves no more powerful then the swing of their arm. The keeper himself of course did not have this limitation, nor did his chosen guardians of his most prized relics. None had successful retrieved anything of value from the vault, none had even stepped out of it alive.

Jade pressed herself against Azya, nearly purring with joy to have her love alive and holding her, as he pet her hair she pressed against his hand as a child would, closing her eyes in pleasure. Her right hand held onto the pendant around his neck while her left drew circles in the square of his back. Oh how she loved him. Even as he spoke to the other woman, she acted as if nothing was happening. In this moment she was happy, relieved to have him whole and holding her.
The woman did not even so much as falter in her stride towards the palace as Azya called to her. Simply a genuine smile graced her darkened lips. A smile of pride and success. "The Sword, yes. I'm aware. It is my fate, Azya, as it is the fate of the woman you hold."
It was at this point that the white haired witch snapped out of her state of euphoric love and became overcome with curiosity. She quickly stood on her tip toes and kissed Azya on his lips then tugged at his hand to make him follow her. She wanted to hear what this woman was saying. Not only was she fascinated by the fact that she knew so much and was so powerful, but more so she was enamored by the fact that this woman, sexy and confident as she was, was another part of Jade. She strained her ears to hear the woman as she walked ahead.
One foot in front of the other, she heard other steps behind her. Jade was following but she continued her conversation with Azya, assuming he could only be close behind the mother of his child. "Surely you don't think it coincidence you fell in love with the one you were sent to turn to prey.. You could have chosen anyone to be your sheep, you thick wolf.... But you chose the sheep with the wool you would lust after, eventually fall for." She waved her hand nonchalantly to the side as if this was elementary."We were destined to meet, Azya. You were destined to betray either your god or your love." A small scoff left her lips as it was obvious, to her, which she had chosen.
It crossed her mind if, had he chosen a different victim from the beginning, would the Keeper be able to complete his plan after all? Would he have the army he had now without her womb? The possibilities were endless. She found herself curious and desiring to delve deeper into other dimensions where choices were different, allowing her to see just how things would turn out if they hadn't gone the way she'd known. But, alas, after this was of hers was over, those dimensions would cease to be accessible, assuming she even lived through it all.
Shaking herself from that mentality she continued.
"I made a foreign friend within the Keeper's realm. She taught me how to play upon the powers I developed through pain and meditation. She taught me how to teleport." There was that cocky, almost mischievous smirk again. "Which made stealing the sword an easier task, still, the entire realm of the Keeper refused me my abilities but with the help of my new found friend I was able to retrieve the relic." She knew they were following her at this point but she was distracted as she sought out the aura belonging to her fallen friend.
"I couldn't take it from the realm, obviously, but it's no longer guarded by dangers unfathomable. It's still within the Keeper's Vault, still a perilous journey to get to, but it calls to me, beckons me to set balance to the universes again." The weight of the circumstance weighing down on her could be heard in her voice. In that split second, almost unnoticeable, it was clear that, though she was strong, she was still just a woman, longing only to be loved as her counterpart was. The responsibility of the universe was quite a lot to bare. But she didn't break her stride as she approached the gates to the palace.
She had a mission to complete, regardless of the cost; vengeance would be hers.
Jade brought her pace to match Azya's as they listened. She really had no words for the circumstance, her words had essentially failed her much earlier. She was still partially in shock from Hiroko's death and the fear for their own lives. Instead she just held Azya's hand as they followed. She looked to Azya, sharing her thoughts with him. She couldn't hide the fact that she felt for the dark haired mirror of herself. It was the saddest thing, in her opinion, but perhaps she was biased because it was still technically her in the future, under different circumstances.

He walked behind the woman, he could practically feel his beloved cooing after her, the strength of this alter ego of hers was clearly bleeding out into his white haired Jade. Not a bad thing, she was more powerful then she knew, by a long shot. Mostly it was lack of confidence that held her back, if she only had that it would be no small leap for her to become an even greater force then she was now, pregnant or not.
“I am not a wolf.” he stated surprised by her analogy “A wolf can kill any sheep he wants, he is all powerful among the sheep. I am the snake among mongoose. Giant powerful beasts who live to kill snakes, so I wore the costume of a mongoose, overplayed my own power before all these deadly beasts. I chose a mongoose whom I saw struggling with her own power, a calculating mind can turn such a struggle to his advantage., give him the chance to strike with his poisonous bite.” His words were comfortably cold, matter of fact and drained of any humanity. “thats not a thread of fate, it was of my own making regardless of the outcome. Fate suggests that neither of us have any ability to make our own choices, by that logic you are not impressive for escaping for you are simply following your fated path, anyone could do it if it was simply their fate” He knew the words would fall sharp, they had intended to. Not as an insult, for the most part they were to gently prod her pride.
It was hard for him to factor fate into a universe he saw as nothing more then a set of weighing scales. All things must be balanced, in his mind this left no room for fate. Besides fate lacked any romance to it, no flair. People who were extraordinary were always cut short of their achievements by the childish notion of 'fate'.
“I am relieved to hear you have everything so wonderfully under control, I admit I am impressed.” He released Jade from his grip knowing full well she wanted to get closer to the woman.
Personally he was still wrestling between the obvious guilt he felt knowing full well he was responsible for this womans state and a far more common emotion, and that was no emotion at all. He was impressed she had come so far, even to escape the Keeper and better yet seek revenge in a valid though reckless way. Of course he recognized her power of will and even saw pieces of his own beloved in the woman. Yet still he felt almost cold towards her, distrusting for he had no doubt she would let them all die just to see her vengeance through.
Upon hearing her intentions for the weapon he raised his eyebrow, at the very least she agreed upon the balance, that was something at least. Even the Keeper bowed to that logic, however something troubled him none the less. “A simple task really, stride in and retrieve your weapon, with it in your hands you should have no problem ensuring the keepers head lands in your lap before he destroys us all.” He kept the mocking from his voice, though the triviality of his statement had every word dripping with sarcasm. “none the less, it is exactly what must be done. Your friend must be quite the being to have orchestrated all this.”
He considered voicing his concerns but rather he chose to keep them to himself. He wondered what she would do with the weapon once it was in her grasp given the very nature of the blade. Though his curiosity did not end there. Some being had taught her what she knew, helped her harness that power and make something of it. Changed man or not Azya wanted to know, it was his nature to seek out information, to learn as much as possible. It was how he had found himself with the Litch in the first place, and in time it was this nature that ultimately kept him from betraying Jade. Love of course but also curiosity.
In order to keep himself from fidgeting with his pendant he ran his slender fingers through his white hair, pulling it over his ear and out of his eyes. “If you can keep Jade out of this I am your servant, simple terms I feel and I doubt you want to see your own child, within your womb or not murdered at the hands of the lord of death.” He kept his pace even, he was several paces behind the woman even though they were sharing in a conversation. “Tell me of how you retrieved the ‘relic’ from this mountain, teleportation is handy to arrive but once you are their your magic is useless, escape would have to be orchestrated by foot. That means thousands of feet of cliff and an zoo of monsters snapping at your heels.”

"That was the easier part." A mysterious grin played at the woman's lips as she walked through the palace gates, quickly finding her fallen friend's aura. It seemed to be right above them yet there was a trace of the same energy within the palace walls. Strange.
She came to a halt and turned to Azya and Jade, a look of confidence upon her features as she mentally counted. Ten. Nine. "How I did it is of no concern of yours, my dear." Four. Three. "However, that is..." One.
The sound of something slicing through wind filled their senses and no sooner had the sound come before the source itself. Within moments a blonde woman with beautiful blue eyes and pitch black wings stood before them in an elegant white gown with gold chains and cuffs and accessories decorating her figure. "The pleasure is all mine, Azya, Jade. My goodness you look different than I had imagined." She gaze the black haired woman a look of embarrassment before returning to look at the couple who'd tailed the dark woman.
"This is A--." Fluttering feathers and metal jingling against itself interrupted the woman as the fallen angel flew forward to shake hands with Azya and hug Jade. "Alice is my name. I am a humble servant to no one but the universe as a whole, by will, of course." A slight smirk showed an innocent feature upon the woman's face though it was clear she was not completely innocent.
"Alice is the one who freed me from the Keeper's bindings." Jade announced dully.
"And she was the one to bring me out of that wretched place." Ah teamwork. It was clear at this point just how much they both owed each other.
Jade found herself baffled as she held onto Azya's arm. A mirror of herself, Hiroko's death, and a fallen angel in one day... And now they were all supposed to hep fight the Keeper? Goodness! She clenched Azya's arm tighter than intended, biting at her knuckle nervously. "So what are we supposed to do?" She asked feebly.
The brilliant sapphires of the fallen angel pierced her soul as she smiled at the innocent mother. "You're gonna go in while Azya and I hold open the portal." Her smile grew almost wicked as she looked the the necromancer the woman was clenching to her chest. It became apparent by that simple suggestion that the black haired witch had planned this all out from the beginning, the confidence now coming off as even more eerie. It was clear that she had planned everything out to every last detail, so what had she not accounted for? Anything? She had planned on killing Hiroko, on seducing Jade to follow her and, thus, bringing Azya. She had planned this trip years before, knowing she'd need the sword. She had it all planned with this mysterious fallen creature.
"... Is it safe?" Jade turned her gaze to her lover, holding her belly with the hand that wasn't intertwined with his. Her voice filled with concern.
"Of course not!" Chimed the fallen angel, matter-of-factually, almost chipper. "If it were, anyone could go waltzing in whenever they pleased. Wouldn't leave much point in life or death, now would it." Her chuckled was far too light-hearted for the situation.
The dark witch stood behind the angel by a few feet, her arms crossed in impatience. Every moment they wasted talking was another realm colliding, another moment the Keeper was gaining the advantage. It was infuriating. If her plans fell through due to over-socialization she's murder everyone before the Keeper got the chance. "We are the one and the same, Jade, yet opposites to an extent. If we go in together we'll act as a neutral force. We'll then bring the sword to the portal and push it through, hiding it with our auras. The Keeper won't know what's happening until it's too late." Explaining the plan took the fun right out of it. Ugh.

“Alice” he mimicked her name, his accent making it sound like Aliise. He bowed his head in respect best he could with Jade tearing holes into his arm. His handshake was strong but uncertain, it was unheard of to touch hands in this manner in his homeland. “Servitude to the universe, a curious calling. It could be argued my kind and yourself kneel before the same master.” he was of course referring to the Necromancer way of preserving balance not his own misfortune servitude to the Keeper. “it is a pleasure to meet you” he assured her.
He took in her appearance in a quick glance, noting both the obvious and some of the more subtle details. The wings spoke for themselves, however those golden cuffs, how curious. An clue perhaps to the reason she was down here and not in her lofty high plane of existence. Better yet what had she been doing in the underworld in the first place, that was no place for fey creatures with angel wings, none would venture their willingly.
“You’re gonna go in while Azya and I hold open the portal.”
Azya’s jaw clenched yet he kept his mouth shut, obviously she had ignored his earlier plea to leave Jade out of this mess. The longer they spoke the more sense it made, he didn't like it but even he had to admit if they had a way to hide from the Keeper they would have to take it. Regardless he scowered his mind for an alternative, a library of spells and tricks and he could come up with nothing.
“and your willing to return to the underworld? If he catches you two it will be eternal suffering for the pair of you. I commend your escape, but to do so twice...” He shook his head in regret leaving the obvious unsaid. “Dangerous doesn't even begin to cover it.”
It was becoming rapidly clear he had been manipulated the moment Jade had stepped into the clearing, the murder of Hiroko had not been anything but purposeful. It was to drive fear into them, it was his own logic played against him. A struggling Mongoose can be turned to an advantage. He wondered if she had just come clean with them in the first place if he would have gone with the plan, probably not. Now however he was invested, it was clear they could not outrun the keeper, and even if they could he knew what awaited them when they grew old and died.
He stared at Alice for a long moment, his sunken eyes unmoving as his brain spun away. “I will need a corpse” he sighed wishing suddenly he hadn't waisted Hiroko’s corpse on his recovery, he doubted now she would have allowed him to actually die. “As well as both of you uh...both of you Jades...hair and blood. The portal is not like a door, if it is not attuned to you it will be about as easy as trying to walk through a rock wall with the expectation of ending up on the moon.”
[OOC: Hm this is rapidly becoming a lesson in how it must feel to deal with my plans. Well played Eve.]

"It could be argued that we served the same purpose, yes. But it could also be argued that "my kind" are classified as demons as well." Alice's eyes were cold as they analyzed Azya. "It could also be argued that my 'kind' hunt your kind and flay them as warnings to the rest of your kind who wish to defile holy lands." Her words were not harsh, simply statements, her voice calm and kind as she spoke. "But for now I think it's best we don't classify ourselves as 'kinds' and think of ourselves more as 'individuals' seeking balance for our existence and universe." A smile graced her lips, if she hadn't been so beautiful one would nearly grow frightened at the malice that might have been conveyed in the curve.
Jade placed a finger to her temple in agitation at Alice's passive-aggressive argument. With a heavy sigh she continued on with the conversation, trying to move things along so that she could get get the show on the road and get into the lair while the Keeper was out wreaking havoc in another dimension.
"My personal torment is of my own concern. Be concerned for your love's sake if you must feign concern. But I know how to slip under his radar. I know what makes him tick." Alice watched the black haired witch. There was an unseen conversation between the two and Alice's wings fluttered anxiously until Jade touched the exposed flesh on her left arm. Running up and down it were scars, carved and branded into her flesh. Runes of fertility, of immortality, of curses, of death, of life. It was as if her flesh had been a sketch pad for a demonic child. "I was, after all, his 'lover'."
It was a humoring concept, but she had lived with him, witnessed his habits, his thoughts, heard his plans, his desires. She had shared a level of intimacy with the monster known as the Keeper than even the dead don't get to experience, as wretched as the experience was. "I assure you, your precious woman will be unharmed." She glanced at the white haired woman who was acting timid, almost childish, buried against Azya. Surely this was all overwhelming for the poor woman but how could she have grown to be the confident and powerful woman she was now from.... that?
"I will need a corpse."
His sigh allowed the dark haired witch a smile and she closed her eyes for dramatic effect. "Gotcha covered on that, darling." The woman then allowed a low whistle to sip between her lips which eventually rose into that of a four-note bird song. Suddenly, without warning, three bodies fell from the sky. If one would have looked up they would see Alice beating her wings casually, slapping her hands together in an attempt to get the filth of bodies off her palms. "Knocked these guys dead earlier. Er.... Well two. I knew you'd need a body but I didn't know how fresh it had to be. Two of them are only about, eh, I'd say thirty minutes deceased. The other one is only poisoned, knocked unconscious. But it should be wearing off here shortly." Her last sentence almost sounded nervous as a child who was about to be caught sticking a firecracker in the neighbor's mailbox.
"Jade thought it'd be best to be safe rather than sorry." Alice cooed as she landed gracefully, pushing one of the dead bodies onto the other with her foot as if it was nothing but a bag of trash.
Behind her a few feet Jade was looking mighty proud of herself. "As for our hair and blood..." If truth be told, she had not expected needing this, but it was a minor detour in comparison to a supply of death. Pulling a knife from her pocket she sliced a small portion of her hair and held it in her hand while slicing at the wound on her wrist from earlier, using the spell from earlier to animate her blood and hold it suspended until Azya was prepared for it. She stepped closer and held the knife out to the white haired witch expectantly. "My offering is completed." Her eyes gauged Jade's willingness as she held out the knife.
The white haired woman looked to Azya nervously then to the rebellious looking woman of death before them. She was offering a blade to cut her hair and offer blood. How much blood would be needed, Jade was unsure, but it was something she could easily bring herself to offer for the ultimate goal. She mimicked the darker vision in the mirror by cutting a small portion of her hand and slicing her palm, letting the blood pool in her hand.
The dark haired jade eager, the white haired Jade nervous, they both looked to Azya, both with different questions in their eyes.
"One more thing..." Alice now was frowning, showing the aged and somewhat dark-aura'd face of a true fallen angel. "Though their auras are matched evenly in neutral harmony, Jade is holding another neutral force within her. A child born to life and death, darkness and light. But if she goes through that portal the child will not survive the passage without it being attuned to both halves of it's existence. Both mother..." Her hand extended to Jade in showmanship. Then her gaze turned to Azya, "... and father."
Jade stood still for a moment, her blood now beginning to drip between her fingers onto the cobblestones of the palace entryway. She looked to Azya and held the blade up hesitantly. The amount of thought these two women had put into all of this seemed so astounding, Jade especially. It really seemed like she was the one calling the shots, the fallen angel just being there to assist her.

Azya gave Alice a disappointed look but otherwise shrugged the thinly veiled passive aggressive attitude aside. He turned his mind instead back onto matters that mattered, so long as the angel helped he couldn’t care less what her point of view was. “They aren’t dead” he said matter of factly. “The keeper stopped accepting human souls several hours ago, these people are still alive even if they are not breathing. Three is better then one, it will allow for more complicated spell work, the fact they will scream through the process is at best a minor inconvenience. Cut their tongues out for me Alice I can handle screams but if they talk to much it will distract from my own words.” He offered Alice an humorless smile. “don’t be afraid to reach right down their throats to get it done either, just mind their teeth, if they wake they will be completely mad.”
He turned his gaze away from Alice dismissively then dropped his eyes to the two women holding out blood and hair, if not for the situation he would have found it rather amusing. Blood and hair in a necromancers hands could become an incredibly powerful tool, he knew they both knew this and it pleased him to find them willing. He scratched around in his pockets before pulling free several stoppered empty small vials. Pulling the stoppers out with his teeth and spitting them to the ground with a childish pop he made an easy motion with his skeletal hand. Blood and hair climbed together as one into the air, each slid into his vials like a snake down a warren. Balancing the Vials in his hand he eyed them for a long moment before nodding and placing them back into his pocket, his mastery over them keeping the liquids inside the bottle without even having to stopper them.
He gave each of the girls a meaningful look and placed a hand gently on the white haired witches cheek. “She will keep you safe, do not look so afraid, you have incredible power. As much power as her, you merely lack the confidence to properly wield it” His thumb stroked her chin, an odd sight given it was nothing more then a spiny bone wrapped in black silk. His gaze turned to the other Jade. “Don’t let her out of your sight. If she does not walk out of that portal first I will close it on you and leave you to the Keeper.” He let a moment of silence pass then moved over to the corpses.
He prodded their feet, squeezed the tips of the fingers and gave slapped the flat of his palm several times in the center of their chests. The first two he gave a pleased nod, he even cooed quietly over the man whom had been drugged. “He will do well, healthy lad sad to see him go but such is the way of things.” He muttered mostly to himself before adding “what are you waiting for Alice get cutting, it must be by your hand if you are to be any use holding open the gate.” The final corpse however gave him reason to frown. “I cant use this thing, it has syphilis I wont touch it, filthy and he smells incorrect anywise, mess everything up.” He made an exhausted expression with his hands and rolled the man onto his stomach and forgot about him.
He then turned to them his arms folded over his chest. “Now about this attunement of auras, this is not my realm of expertise. I have no idea how to go about matching my own aura with the babies, by all means please teach me.”

The dark haired woman frowned as Azya rained on her parade. She should have known something would go wrong. She stepped forward in anger, her mouth opening to speak but when his words continued to flow, weaving the possibility of usage for the bodies she had rallied, she smiled, pleased. As he addressed Alice, she saw the blonde look to Jade in anger. Apparently Azya had no concept of her friend's loyalties. Alice would not take orders from Azya, only from Jade, Azya was only a pawn in this grand scheme as far as the fallen angel was concerned. Knowingly, Jade nodded and the angel began the process she was assigned.
The white haired Jade looked up at Azya, concern floating on the surface of her emerald pools. He spoke words to her that set her heart ablaze. His words comforted her so. Her eyes swirled with gold power and then turned to their neutral yet powerful grey they had been when she was practicing the lessons taught to her in Azya's home land. He was right. She held all the potential to be the powerful woman before them. And she would be that powerful. For him. For their child. For her. For the realms. Touching her chin, Jade closed her eyes as she felt Azya's adoration for her radiate from his skeletal fingers under the silk wrappings, so soft against her skin.
"Don't let her out of your sight." The dark haired woman squinted, making an effort not to roll her eyes in the obviousness of his statement. "If she does not walk out of that portal first I will close it on you and leave you to the Keeper." He tried to move forward but Jade let out a loud scoff at his threat as he began to examine the bodies she had presented him. After his final statement of examination she finally voiced her thoughts.
"You fool. If she doesn't leave first, closing the portal would lock her in as well." Mocking him was becoming just all too easy.
"They will have to leave together anyway," Alice was growing incredibly impatient with Azya as he asked her what she was waiting for. She had already began the process of removing the tongue from the first victim, her foot on his lower jaw, holding his upper jaw taught with her left hand as her right hand rummaged inside of it. It'd be easier if she could just have Jade rot their tongues out but she didn't know how delicate a necromancer's sacrifices were and so wanted to do it right.
"They must both enter and exit together, holding hands so their auras are completely in tune with each other, other wise they will be detected. The Keeper's realm is not a place for the living. Their souls, however, being neutral, will only appear as living if one leaves the other alone. In which case they will most likely be devoured by whatever awaits them." Her words were somber as she ripped the tongue from the second victim, snarling at the blood on her hands.
Standing now, she dropped the tongues to the ground, watching them splatter with a disgusting noise, blood painting the cobblestones around them. Turning her attention now to the last victim that Azya had disregarded, she sighed heavily. "Your aura is already matched to the child's." The dark haired witch spoke as Alice picked up the body deemed as unfit by the ankle and beat her wings hard against the air. She rocketed into the sky, spinning her body and allowing the corpse to sling outward with momentum. After only a second of spinning, Alice let go, allowing the body to fling into the forests, its location to be unknown aside from birds in the distance taking flight in fear of the intrusion.
Slowly lowering herself from her altitude, Alice rubbed her hands together, removing the blood from them. "Your hair will need to be with theirs as it is your DNA within the child as well. The blood, I'm sure can be left to only hers as it is her blood that runs through the child's veins as of now." Alice's sapphire gaze pierced through the white haired witch's body, as if looking straight at the child within her womb. "If it were a child born to anyone else, I'd be concerned for it's survival of such a journey in such an early stage of development..." She paused, her eyes flicking to Jade, then to Azya. "But your child is stronger than most. I'm actually impressed."
