"What kind of treasures do you bring home, Captain Roger?" Cast looked at him, eyes filled with wonder. "Do you woo governor's daughters and bring home barrels of gold? I'm not sure I'd care for the whole crew here, if they're really the plundering sort. Mom would have a fit and fall in it if our pantry was raided."

"That'd be really nice, Capt. Rogers," Cast nodded with enthusiasm. "I don't think I've ever had more than one person here at any given time. A whole crew would be something worth writing about!"

It was nice of Captain Roger to be so candid and honest with her. She had no idea that it wasn't the norm and that often times, young Phonies were hardly ever talked to so frankly. It was nice hearing tales from another sea traveler, all she'd ever known were stories from her mother.

"Thank you for visiting, Captain," Cast smiled up at him. "I hope you come back again soon!"

As soon as he was gone, she set to work cleaning and making plans on how to entertain more than one person in a small lighthouse. It was then that she realized that the place really needed to expand. She hoofed through a catalog and started ordering books on carpentry, wiring, and masonry. Jolly's influence and honesty had really motivated her to be more ambitious than she'd previously been!
