Oh, the scratchings... She had missed them so... But then he stopped and she made a disappointed sound as she reached to pat his long fingers with a velvet paw.
"What are you sorry for? Don't stop with the petting, sweety!" Her purr rumbled loud in his ear, though her voice was sheepish. "I've been missing the attention since I left my family... The big, wide world is very... Big, and lonely, and cold when you're used to being a pampered house cat. I gave all that up for my senshi, you know, traded the safe life of a pet for the duty and pleasure of serving those like you..."
Ash rubbed her face against the side of his head on familiar cat fashion, marking him with her scent. For now, he was her senshi and she wanted everyone to know it. Eyes slits behind her visor, the guardian watched as he checked his phone, murmuring something intelligible as the full moon was mentioned. That sounded right.. She remembered that when she thought about it.
"I will take that raincheck, darling. Not like I'm doing much then anyway. I did notice that the primer seemed rather... Incomplete. I've got access to it, but lack the knowledge to update it with, so I was forced to leave it as it is. If I can gather the information it's lacking, I will try to update it. Our people deserve the most up to date info we can muster..." A guardian could only do so much with the little she had... More data was required.

"I didn't know Guardian cats started as regular cats...?" Is it some analog to our being regular people before we were scouts or knights?
"Are you homeless?" That was a sad state. "You're welcome at my home should you need. It is a small apartment, but on cold winter nights its better than a window well or on a tire next to a car engine. I have two chairs, or you'd be welcome on the bed as well. There's plenty of pillows and blankets. " "Since you don't have a phone...how would be best to get a hold of you in the future?" Thraen took the invitation to continue the scritches, alternating between ruffling her cheek and smoothing it neat again. Her fur was softer the way housecat's would be.

Ash rumbled happily as the petting began again, leaning into it until she was in danger of loosing balance and falling right off Thraen's shoulder. Oh, that was niiiiiice...
"Guardians don't just pop out of the ether!" She laughed, her eyes closed in pure, sensual pleasure. "I was born to a Burmilla pair and grew up like a normal cat... then one day its like someone wiggled the mouse to my mind and it came out of sleep mode. I just suddenly knew what I was and there was this urge to find senshi... Its a curious thing. I do have a home base in HQ, of course, but its not the same. Too impersonal, hardly private."
Oh, my... an invitation to visit? Turning her head, Ash blinked slowly at the senshi. That was a rather nice thing to offer. Pillows and blankets sounded heavenly, even if she was better off than most stray cats who actually used those windows and tires for beds.
"I would love to visit you, darling! That is a very kind, very generous offer. You are quite the winner, aren't you? Just my type!" Arching her back, Ash shifted from his touch and jumped down from his shoulder, landing with ease on the ground. A little pain in her paws, but it was little more than a distraction.
"Here, I'm going to try something... cross your fingers!" Another little motion, that twisting jump that produced the pearl, but this time what dropped to the ground was a plain little purple phone. Pouncing on it, Ash worked it open between cupped paws and careful application of her teeth. It appeared as any senshi phone, but lacked the unique touches of a senshi owner.
"Ta-da! I always knew I was a talented girl." The guardian said proudly as she straightened up, looking pleased with herself. "Now I have a phone of my own! I assume you'll be able to register me now, and I you. Wonderful idea, yes? This should make contact a lot easier."

He wondered if the cats flipping had something to do with the magic the way the glitter, clothes vanishing and dance steps had something to do with the henshin power. Or being emphatic about casting their magic. Cats must be acrobats. He pulled his phone out again, buttoning through the interface and tried the scan again before giving a nod, "Yes...it's registered your number. That does make it simpler. " They come by awareness and memories like our 'past life visions' maybe? Well, she doesn't seem confused or alarmed by it, so it has to be somewhat natural. For as much as ever really phases cats. "I will send you a message then before the next full moon? And feel free to drop me a line if you need the help or a place to stay. I spend a lot of time in uniform. " Leaving it in her...paws...at least made it less like imposing. The door was open. Bluefire Dragonz Did we want to work this to a close? I didn't have anything further~

Returning the register was something of an effort for Ash, who had to wrestle the senshi phone into position between her paws and somehow push the proper button with her nose. Fingers were truly the only thing about humans that the silver cat was jealous of. Electronics needed a delicate touch, something finer than a pair of paws, no matter how velvety they were. Still, she managed it, beaming proudly as Thraen was put into her phone, now offering her a direct line to him.
"I will drop by sometime soon, if that's alright. It would be nice to be somewhere other than HQ all the time. And I can't argue with the quality of the company." The guardian gave him a flirty bat of her green eyes before she banished her new phone back to the pocket it had come from. In the back of her mind, she wondered how she'd know if it rang... would there be some sort of sense that told her to pull it out? It would be something to investigate.
"I'll bring you a gift when I come, okay? A little something to say thank you." Flicking her tail, the guardian darted over to wrap herself lovingly around his booted ankles, offering up an affectionate weave before she bounced out again and cast a glance over her shoulder. "I'll catch you later, darling! Be a good boy in the mean time!"
Tail arched high, Ash darted away down the road, making for the bushes on a mission.Ivynian Let me know if you'd like any rps at 'home' with Thraen. 8D given half a chance, like any cat, Ash will make herself right at home, poking into everything and sleeping on any and all available surfaces.

Did a cat just make a pass at me?He didn't even know what to do with or about that. He did hope to see her again in the near future, but the mention of the 'gift' was even more ominous. He didn't really want dead chipmunks, squirrels, robins, sparrows or mice on his floor. Just how 'cat' were Guardian cats still? ********* ate cake, which wasn't too cat. He shook his head, giving it up for now to the ether. There was more of a patrol to see to. Bluefire Dragonz We'll have to work something out~ Thanks for the rp!
