They are perpetual mockeries of everything that's been destroyed, and the Negaverse is better for severing the alliance."

But the fire finally died and what was left was a broken woman awkwardly looking at the ground ever slightly to the right of her, trying to think of what was left she needed from the officer and could only lament.

"I would ask for your photo, but I seem to have forgotten my camera."

"Are you telling me that you could forget a face like mine, kitten?" He smirked softly in an attempt to lighten the mood, or at least to steer it away from things that were likely to make either if them spend the night brooding after their talk.

"How about next time you set off this beacon of yours by changing from cat to woman with claws I come find you... As long as you have your phone maybe I'll let you take my picture then, hmm? Then maybe we can learn a bit more from each other and I can show you a card trick or two."

"Oh, never, Captain," She said with a laugh that started out a little more than forced.

She adjusted the heavy purple overlay, a bit embarrassed at the direction the entire conversation had taken, and rolled on her bare feet with a soft hum.

"You're very kind for someone who fancies himself dangerous. I wouldn't mind sharing information again. It is, after all, my intended purpose in life..."

With no one to really, explicitly provide such a service to. She was a free agent and a dangerous one considering how easily it was to get her on your side.

"I look forward to seeing what tricks are up your sleeve, Richterite," She shifted turn to her fully feline form, shutting off the energy beacon and taking a little bow on her paws before darting off into the park.
