"I don't, really, " the strongman admitted, ushering them both across the street. "I just train, or do chores that are mine at the apartment. Or go to competition. A little while ago a friend called who had been hurt to work a day at her flower shop. That was relaxing, I guess...but it was working, too. " " Maybe after graduation for a bit I watched The 13th Warrior when I had freetime. I have been always training now." Either for his competitions or for the Negaverse. He couldn't remember days off, other than getting Nischal moved in- "The roommate I had...we watched some movies and had dinner...listened to music while getting his room set up. Nischal. He is young, too young really to be out on his own. But that happens more and more now, maybe. " Colin's mother was not in err to be worried about the safety of the streets, with those copies so recently about. "It will be nice to have a reason to want some again." The nearest hot beverage was not surprisingly Siren-logo sporting, but it would do. Björn held the doors to let Colin pass, "My treat. Are you still vegetarian?"

Colin let himself be herded along, trusting his companion's judgement to see them to their destination. "You know, I'm not really surprised to hear you say that...you always work too hard." Mention of The 13th Warrior would get sounds of approval from the dancer; he quite enjoyed the movie himself (but refused to watch it around his Mom or sister, who both made goo-goo eyes at various actors/characters). It did seem a movie right up Björn's alley, even without the whole Northern Country tilt to it. "So he doesn't live with you anymore?" Possessive he may be, but there was nothing but curiosity and perhaps concern for the young Nischal in Colin's question. Ah, the ever-present luring logo denoting moderate-to-expensively priced coffees and teas. Colin breathed in the warmth inspiring scents and sighed as he stepped in. "Oh, thanks. And yeah, still am." But dairy was okay, he wasn't vegan, after all.

The big guy considered a moment, reviewing his tense, "Ahh...no, he is still roommate. It is a multibedroom Victorian. There would be room...if you will not be moving in with your family. Will you be staying in Destiny City, or going back to a training?" "I have kept up with eating a lot of tofu...Not so much vegetarian...but not meat much. " At the counter Björn let Colin order first. For himself he got a hot cider. He eyed the seating suspiciously, knowing that he wouldn't fit into any of the chairs. Thankfully the loveseat was unoccupied.

Poor guy, Colin could almost feel his trepidation at having to admit he still had a roommate; luckily, he wasn't jealous of the younger man, not with the way Björn had spoken of him. It made the fellow seem like a younger brother, almost, rather than anything he had to worry about. "Good. If he's as young as you say, he needs to stick around." Big Brother Colin, to the fore! "Really? I'd like that. Mom and I have been talking about me moving out, she wants a home-office." Moving forward in line, he paused, "I'm going to be staying here. I've already had a couple offers for work, including teaching at my old dance studio." Without a thought beyond that he wanted to do it, Colin leaned against Björn's side and looped an arm around his waist (as much as he could). "Really? I never thought I'd hear of you not eating meat all the time." Colin teased him companionably before ordering a hot chai tea; while Björn was ordering his cider, the dancer was eyeing the seating too. Fitting that big frame in places like this had been hard before...and now that he'd gotten even bigger? The loveseat was the best option for his size and it afforded Colin the ability to sit either side-to-side or with knees touching. Cozy and it afforded some intimacy without being inappropriate. "Would it really be alright if I moved in with you? I know it would make Mom feel better about me moving out...plus, she likes you a lot."

"Teaching is a fine job....but no offers from any actual dance companies? Wasn't the training going to make many doors open?" The arm around his waist felt stronger than it had been, but still much smaller than he'd The drinks were a welcome boon, shifting their presence from the line to settling hips near side-to-side on the little couch. "I would like if you would move in. " "Its a two bedroom...Nischal has one. I don't know how fast you want to take things. It is good to have personal space- you could have the second bedroom if you wanted and the 'living room' can had a futon? I could use it for a bed in late evenings, which is really all I need. Or..we could share a room. " "You know I never keep many objects....so there's plenty of room for all of your things and more. Moving is no trouble- its a 3rd floor, but there isn't much I can't lift and move around carefully anymore. "

"Teaching doesn't really interest me, so I'm focusing on the other offers." He sipped his drink, smiling over the rim and enjoying the warmth and company. "It did, the other offers are from big companies...but I'm not going to jump at anything just yet. I want to think about things, go over my options." Colin listened as Björn spoke of his home, the space that he shared with Nischal and was now offering to share with him. "We can share a room. I've gotten used to sharing my space. Besides," the blond leaned against Björn, resting his head against his companion's shoulder, "It's your place, and you'd just end up there with me anyway." Back when they were still in school Colin's bed had ended up being more of a couch than an actual bed, especially after the whole Mauvian incident, they had almost always ended up in the same bed, limbs tangled and heavy with sleep. "I'd love to see it, and meet your current room mate, if he's around." Of course, he could always meet him later, which might even be a better thing, since they were just now getting back together. Either way, he was happy sitting with Björn and thinking about the future.

"How long will the offers be open? Aren't they limited?" As much as having the other near for even the few minutes they'd had thus far was ambrosia, he didn't want his feelings getting in the way of Colin's success at his dreams. If being a dancer meant going to some other city, that was how it should be. "I don't know if he'll be around or in classes, or out and about today...actually. " Björn tried not to pry too much into Nischal's business, let alone the more private Mirror aspects of his life. How that would work out with a third party, he wasn't sure. There were the assurances of closed doors, at least, if Nischal was using mirrors in his own bedroom to come and go. Being supportive and a good roommate was certainly a part of life of late, but he'd not made it a habit of writing down the other youth's whereabouts. "But if you're going to move in, I expect it will be necessary that you meet him. Hopefully we can all get along. I think he's maybe 16? But a young 16. Younger than you or I were. " "You could come over tomorrow or the day after maybe? Dinner and stay over night? I could warn Nischal by then, if he wanted to take the time."

"Some are more open-ended than others, but I'll probably want to give everyone firm answers inside of two weeks." Colin swirled his cup, plastic lid-cover keeping the heated liquid from sloshing out and burning either of them. "Two are here in Destiny City and another is one city over...I think. Only a few places I'd be interested in are further than that, but I haven't heard from all of them. Might not ever hear from them...the competition can be pretty stiff." Of course, he was fantastic and should be among the top picks, no matter where the studio(s) were located. Colin had a lot of pride in his skills as a dancer, even more now that he'd returned from the Royal Academy of Dance. He had a lovely certificate (several, actually) stating that he had, in a relatively short amount of time been able to not only get through Advanced Foundation 2, but had even managed to earn the 'title' of 'Solo Seal' by being at the absolute top of his class and distinguishing himself. "Sounds like an active sort of guy...I wonder why he's away from home already." Especially if Nischal was as young as Björn was saying he was. "I'm sure we'll be able to get along. I'm pretty easy going and you two are already fine, so...I don't see things going badly." Easy going unless someone was trying to poach what was his, hurt the people/planet he loved OR started dogging Star Trek. Then he would whip out a massive can of beat-down so surprising most were flat on their asses before they even realized what had happened. Being so "soft" looking could have it's good sides too, sometimes! "Lemme check my phone, I think I'm clear tomorr--oh wait..." Colin set his chai down between his knees, holding it in place with a light pressure even as he was digging into his pocket for his cell, so he could check the calendar there. "Ummm, I'm good after 7. I promised I would take Miri out shopping for a new dress. Apparently the one she usually wears for concerts is now too short and too tight in the bust." He grimaced a bit; shopping with his little sister for dresses was bad enough, but she was probably going to be asking him if things not only looked good, but made her new boobs look good too. "If a later dinner isn't a problem, It works for me. I'll be sure to bring bunny slippers." Or Tribble slippers, since that's what his sister had gotten him as a present, last Christmas.

"Any time once your done is fine. Do you have access to a car now, or should I meet you somewhere? " The obvious discomfort on the part of an older brother was cute. "Your sister is turning out as pretty as her brother. She appreciates your time and probably your advice. It is good you are taking her out." "It is prom season, isn't it? I don't recall much since it wasn't very important at Hillworth....and now there isn't even that schedule." "Does she have anyone at school?" It would never cease to be a wonder and a jewel that Colin came from a family not troubled by a son dating another guy.

"I'll be borrowing Mom's, it won't be a problem to drive over. As long as I have the address." It wasn't as though his Mom would care that he borrowed the car - the whole reason he could use it was she typically car-pooled to work and wouldn't be needing it for a few days (until her turn to play chauffeur). Colin made a face at hearing that Miriam was "turning out as pretty as he", but it was all protective big-brother fueled emotion. "Don't remind me...at least Miri isn't really a brat. But she's gonna break some hearts, that's for sure." "Yep. That's why we're going. Miri doesn't trust Mom's taste and Mom knows I won't let Miri get anything "inappropriate"." The blond chuckled a bit at the mention of Hillworth and it's utter lack of anything resembling a social calendar. "Not that I know of, but maybe. Perhaps I'l find out tomorrow, while we're shopping." Girls tended to talk a lot when they shopped, in his experience.

Björn sipped at his own drink, just basking a few minutes and watching another customer come into the place and go to the counter. Instinct was to ask ALL THE THINGS, like there wasn't going to be a tomorrow. But then breathless and hours later, they'd be just sitting there feeling awkward and uncertain what to talk about. Silence, and just enjoying company and presence was something he liked to attend to. When he set his cup aside on the tiny end table he finally spoke again, changing off the brotherly frustration, "The school was England? Did you drive there? It is on the other road side? " "What was it like to live in another country alone for you?" Björn had been months in other countries growing up, but there was a difference between doing it with family and doing it alone as an adult. And it would be different anyway, since Colin was a different man than he was. In so long a span, it was inevitable to learn things about oneself and grow...Colin was a different person, whatever the similarities, than the youth he'd said goodbye to. We cannot go back to yesterday, for we were different people then. But it will be alright. We can learn each other all over again. And that is exciting.

Sitting companionably with Björn was nice, even without a steady stream of chatter; sometimes you just needed to enjoy the little things. Every now and again he would look over at the blond sitting beside him, watching his once-again boyfriend watching the near-constant ebb and flow of newly caffeinated humanity on the go. Colin watched Björn set his drink aside before changing the subject. "Yes. There are R.A.D. accredited teachers in many places, but the main school is in Battersea, London. I did get to drive while there, yes it was on the other side of the road...and it was really weird and kind of disorienting." He chuckled a little bit, sipped his drink and then set it between his thighs, holding it loosely. "Lonely, especially at night. It felt almost like being shipwrecked, or being on a strange planet." At least, that's how it had been when he'd first arrived; after a while he'd made some friends and gotten more comfortable with being away from the ones he loved. "I mean, it was exciting too, but I really missed you and Miri and Mom. I was lucky that I didn't have to try learning a whole other language! That would have made it that much harder to get used to being there." Colin's expression became thoughtful as he recalled the first few weeks at the Academy; how hard they had been when he wasn't doing drills, practicing or working out. Staying busy kept him from getting too down about things, but at night...well, all of the guys that weren't local spent some very difficult, wet-eyed nights during those first weeks. "I think it was a good thing, dancing aside. I'd never really been alone before that, but now I know I can handle it and take care of myself." He leaned against Björn again, reaching out to take one of those big hands with his own. "You know....one of the hardest things to deal with was actually learning to sleep alone again."

Colin's hand was still smallish by comparison, but with his own taken in it the increased tensile strength underlying the knuckles and tendons was apparent. Björn fussed the smaller hand with his own, massaging the pad of his thumb over the dancer's fingers. "Should I expect to get kicked a lot in the middle of the night as you re-adjust to sleeping with someone?" "I could wrap you like a taco so you do not move so much."

Björn's hand was warm and large, larger than even he remembered, but very comforting; as he leaned there, comfortable and happy, he watched people coming and going without really noticing. The contact was like a feast after a year-long famine; especially for someone as touchy-feely as Colin tended to be. "Maybe. We might have to invest in some shin guards for you." Colin smiled and snuggled his head against Björn's shoulder again, a look of mischief in his eyes. "As much fun as that sounds...I think I'll pass on becoming a human taco."

"What do you think would your schedule will be...? You said your mother wants an office. A week? A month? Three months? " And how would it work with his duties? Björn furrowed his brow with the considerations of time. It would probably work out well enough between both their training schedules- they'd be lucky to arrange enough time to see each other in mornings or evenings anyway. His duties could be tacked in between strongman training. It mostly meant that he wouldn't be able to make quotas before training when he'd be expected to be sleeping. "Do you still go for morning runs?"
