Hi dawn! I have to warn that I'm pretty slow at tagging most of the time but if you're open for consideration, I think two of my muses could fit what you're looking for. ^^
Boaz/Amethyst - he could fit the role of the negaverse officer in question who's out to try to recruit her because of her money. He'll probably try to befriend her and coax her into seeing that what the Negaverse does is meaningful and worth joining. As a civilian, he works at the hospital as an Orthopaedic doctor so he could recognise her when she gets brought in later on injured and waking up wanting to know why this all is happening to her. This encounter can then lead up to her corruption with him getting a General into the eventual picture and then showing her the ropes when she becomes a Lieutenant. ^^
Jaeger - he comes from a well to do family as well so perhaps they could have known each other as family friends? He has been home schooled for quite a bit until his recent enrolment into Sovereign Heights which he isn't going to cope very well with because of his peculiarities and the way he speaks. She could probably look out for him like a big sister sorta role if you can see that possibly happening perhaps? ^^

It would be more than a little hypocritical of me to mind slow rp tagging- as I do tend to be on the slow side myself. Though I have found that if faster responses are desired, I am fond of aim rp ( and given my timezone -pst- and somewhat unusual hours- anywhere from 9:30 am to around midnight, my time- this can work out well)...
Gosh, I can see her getting along well enough with either
Jaeger would definitely end up being more of a brother than friend- she would want to coddle and protect him -even though he's a year older than she is- from anyone who would tease him and help out with dealing with getting along at SHP, at least for the term since she will be transferring to DCU in the fall
For Boaz, he would definitely be a good contact for her, and a way to learn about the Negaverse and war from someone whom she could trust and see the chaos point of view in a positive light... and once she is an officer he could be a good training buddy since both would be part of InfOs...

My timezone's a little off since I'm like a good 15 hours ahead of you but so long as we're all good on the slow tagging, I have no issues with doing it in the guild since I'm pretty much slow on aim unless it's crack rp without proper sentences and all. sweatdrop
I'm really glad that you also think that both my muses could fit with what you have in mind. ^^
Jaeger wouldn't mind the age difference or the coddling really. He's just glad that there'll be a familiar face that he could seek out and latch onto amidst all the scary-ness of the new environment and peers he's supposed to interact with... ^^ We could probably assume that he contacted her prior via phone to arrange for a meet up in school so that they could tackle some of the issues of settling in. We could also have another 1-2 RPs of them in school (backdated even if we are that slow) leading up to her breaking the news of her transfer to DCU later on which will definitely make him go sad face at her. xd
Lovely... I notice that you already have some on-going RPs with some other Negaverse agents so I'm not sure if she will have any prior impression of their organisation before Amethyst's tracking her down subsequently? =3 If you don't already have much planned for her initial meeting with Richard (Gingi's Buddingtonite), we could probably have her identified as a potentially useful recruit by him hence why Amethyst was sent to go track her down? This is of course if both Gingi and yourself are cool with this. ^^ I was thinking that perhaps an initial encounter for them both will be for him to intervene when a guy or two tried to get fresh with her in a side alley after one of her clubbing sessions perhaps?
In fact, if you wanna close the loop in the end, we could have Buddingtonite do the corruption eventually since he's now a General or Amethyst could link her up with another General if you have a specific preference for this. ^^ Amethyst will totally be happy to train with her. He'll definitely be looking out for her since she will be the very first recruit whom he had an active part in bringing over to the Negaverse. ^^
I um... got to apologise for the text wall cos I kinda tend to get carried away with all these plot ideas. You dun have to do it exactly as how I have suggested though. Just thought I'll toss some ideas out here given Amethyst's a very good friend with Buddy plus all the potential plots from the connections. Hee... ^^;

For Jaeger aside from the at school, there is also college hangouts such as coffee shops and the library, and she would definitely encourage him to hangout there with her, she might attempt to drag him out to clubs but not too insistently if he would be too uncomfortable. And there is also the huge loft apartment ( hell it is less of an apartment than an entire floor of an apartment building...) she owns outright for quiet study or movie nights or something as long as it isn't her clubbing/hook up night (friday and potentially saturday)..
There were no plans for Lianna's meeting with Richard, but I will be asking gingi about him being the one to bring her into the negaverse. I love that idea, it might help her to start a network... And having someone around her level to help her get adjusted to the negaverse and be a friend would be great. And for an initial meeting Richard/Buddy has already kind of played the whole knight in shining armor role, so it wouldn't have as much of an effect on her... She does wander a lot so perhaps during a walk or whatever she injures herself, mildly – a twisted or sprained ankle- he comes upon her during a run and helps here out... whatever.
I really don't mind text walls or lots of ideas, it helps get a different point of view and leads to other and potentially better/different directions a character might go.

Hopeite sort of just wants to watch the world burn. (heh I made a funny) We could have them meet and see if Hopeite sees any potential in Lianna. I can't promise anything, Hopeite is super picky when it comes to who she brushes off and who she takes time for. But we can sure see. In any case it'd give Lianna someone to dislike / go after when she corrupted.

I don't see how they could meet at all given they have no overlap in age, hobbies or any such... and Lianna isn't powered yet... perhaps later once she is powered.... I think I've already found the person who has scouted her out, so a second isn't really necessary.

Well, knowing Hopeite she'd probably just harass her if it was a slow evening. She's not a... nice person... strictly speaking. But if you already have someone it's no big deal. If you still need a bit of a monster to harass her you can always give me a shout.

Oooh... now why didn't I think of that? =3 I really like those scenarios so we could go with some of those as well and have him visit her at her apartment at some point too. Being the sweetie that he is, Jaeger will probably go with her at least once to the club and likely end up drunk from just one tiny sip of whichever alcoholic beverage they're getting. That could make for interesting conversations I think... xd
Awesome! I hope Gingi is fine with going with it. ^^ Yup! It'll be their little Info 'family' for now but she can gradually branch out from there as and when she runs into other Negas or when Amethyst introduces her to the few other Negas whom he knows. He'll probably be a Captain by the time she gets corrupted but it should be fine since it should work logically for him to start taking on more responsibilities like showing a newbie around and looking out for her.
Hmm... I believe that a sprained ankle should work since he should have a roll of bandages with him so that will certainly come in handy. Besides, it'll give him an excuse to send her home if she's not the overly cautious type and get to talk to her along the way to get to know her better so as to better win her over to their side eventually. 3nodding
I totally agree with you on that and I'm really glad that you think this way. All fun plots begin with people bouncing ideas off each other like this after all..! =3 b

There is so much we could do with Jaeger and Lianna in that pseudo-sibling relationship. It could be so cute. And that is good that he'd at least attempt to go clubbing with her, though she would feel completely terrible about it later if he was too uncomfortable or didn't enjoy himself at least a little bit... So where would you like to start rps between them?
Hmmm, she isn't always one to be cautious, but perhaps, if I have her out in her favorite boots when the accident occurs, and she finds a place to sit down to take the boots off to see how bad it is, with the swelling and everything she would have to return home, and yeah. That could work well. do you want to start out with that rp? I could start that one and send the link since I'm kind of on a roll rp-wise...

Oh yes yes yes... Jaeger is so child-like that he's good for cute things like this. He will swear that he did enjoy himself at least a little bit with the clubbing just so that Lianna won't feel too bad about him getting tipsy and all. ^^ Hmm... I'm thinking either an arranged meet up at a cafe or at her apartment - whichever you're feeling more for at the moment?
Sounds like a plan to me so let's go with that then. Do you want me to start one of these when I get to doing some tagging hopefully this weekend? ^^;

I would be fine with either the cafe or her apartment for a meet up... Hmm, maybe the cafe. I still need to come up with a concrete plan for the size, set up and style of her apartment... The only thing I have about it, is it takes up the entire top floor of her building, and she has plush overstuffed furniture and her master bathroom has a very large garden tub with jets.
Sure, if you want to start the one with Jaeger, I can start the one with Boaz.

Just wanted to check... was Lianna supposed to run into Boaz or his Nega form in the RP you started yesterday? ^^; Both will work for me so it's more of how you want her to be introduced to the powered world eventually. =3

For the first contact, I think civ. So he can recognise her quicker after the battle, and which would give him an excuse to keep an eye on her. Unless he is prone to being out and about as amethyst during the day.
