With only one pistol, Salvacion near the door and against these numbers, Tavion knew that he would have to stay his hand. Although they were his enemies by association with Ignazio, they were also his allies by the Vatican but their allegiance was more so to the former. The Headmaster raised his hands to signal the white flag. It was unsightly but it was a must. He would only be dead if he made a move now. The other Arc Knight shook his head at him and spoke of how he should watch his who he bears his fangs at. Ignazio went on about how he should think before speaking, how he's only Arc Knight temporarily, and a naive brat who has no respect for authority, tradition and cares too much about the metaphorical "non exorcist world" far more than he should among other things. Tavion only sucked his teeth at the middle aged man's speil. "Whatever you say Ignazio." Was the only thing Tavion said before lowering his arms. Some of the things that he stated were fairly true but as far as having no respect for tradition, how could someone who happened to be adept a destroying demon and began Exorcist training just barely a half decade ago have respect for thousands of years of tradition that he nor his ancestors or family was remotely part of? These traditions were still keeping most of the worlds wealth between the Six Exorcist families only bringing more and more death and poverty to the already dwindling numbers due to demons.
Tavion sat upon his desk and as he moved slightly, he noticed that the he was still within the crosshairs of Ignazio's dragoon guard. "If your not going to pull the trigger boys and girls, why don't we put away those toys. They're quite heavy if I'm not mistaken." He was inconspicuously enough, taunting them but at the same time, very much serious. The other Arc Knight went for the door, stopping to answer Tavion's previous question. Based off of Ignazio's answer, his expression changed to a surprised one of all. Most men would pick either of the two. Only a select few would state something other than what was given, though he was surprised that he hadn't said family and relations if not money or power. "I just mistook you for someone who did what he had to do even if it meant being the worst kind of person for the sake of his family but it seems I was completely wrong if family isn't what you value." Tavion shook his head. "Anyway. I'll have the assignment done. And I don't think you'd come "save" me even if you were ordered to, that's how much disdain you hold for me. It's quite alright though, I don't hate you for it. Hate is one of two emotions very easily exploited."

Uncommonly heavy footsteps of the man known as Tavion Vega, echoed through the halls leading to his office. Things were starting to unfold at VERY astonishing rate. A little girl was found dead in this very town. She was only a middle school girl from Mitakihara. "Madoka Kaname." Was all the man said, reaching the door to his office and stopping before entering. He sighed as the news of young life being lost saddened him. With a few strides from the door, the white haired brawler reached his desk to sit in the black leather chair.
Things weren't right. The public was beginning to find out, even if only a little, about the secret society of demon fighters known as Exorcists. If the world became aware of their existence, it would be total Anarchy. The very people that they sought to protect, would turn against them; throwing them to the wolves. Tavion rubbed his temples with the thought. A sudden jerk and his hand was upon the drawer that housed his liquor, bringing it upon his desk with a glass to drink out of. "I need a drink, this early in the morning? I can tell this isn't going to be a good day." He mumbled to himself as he poured himself a glass of the brown liquid known as Chivas Regal; whiskey. He gulped it back, scrunching his face up in the process. "s**t. That'll put hair on anyone's chest." A chuckle couldn't help but make it past his lips.
Tavion returned the bottle back to it's home before sliding the drawer back shut. He leaned back in the chair to kick his feet up on his desk while grabbing a pen in the process to deftly weave it between his fingers in a string of motion. He didn't really have any paperwork to do unless his secretary brought it in for him, at the moment so it was down time for now. Maybe someone so kind would pay him a visit...

Silence had overcome the room as Tavion had begun to think on the events that were happening. His eyes concentrated intently on the trick he was absent-mindedly performing with the pen. A tonal sound echoed throughout the room, dragging his attention back to the world of the living. The sound from his pocket which meant that it was his cellphone. Tavion spun in the chair so he was facing away from his desk and stood, taking the touchscreen brick out of his pocket and hitting the green "accept button." The caller was one of the teachers in the school, Vindictus Blacklace. As soon as he answered, not even being able to slide 'Hello' out, Vindictus spoke very hurriedly about him needing to see something immediately and that he'd be in room 400 before hanging up. Tavion placed the phone back into his pocket and rubbed his chin in thought. Vindictus never called him unless it was absolutely important for him to see it. He needed to get there ASAP. The Headmaster pulled a ring of keys from his pocket. These were Exorcist Keys, used around the world and around campus to make the trips a lot shorter. He pulled out the one designated for room 400 and walked to the outside of his door, not before locking and closing the door to his office. He placed the key into the key hole of the door and opened it once more but this time he would not step back into his locked office, he would step into the room that was specific to the key.
Soft clicks echoed through the clock tower, perhaps an unusual noise given the hour of night. The sounds accompanied by the ambient sounds of lights flickering and fading above and the eerie creeks of the wood below. Every building seemed to have its own song, this one was dominated by low hums of clock work and the subtle tick, tock of the massive clock. Agnès had made her ascent up multiple floors, stopping at the door that marked the Headmaster’s office. The senior exorcist leaned down to get a closer look at the handle- the door was locked but it wouldn’t take much effort to make her way in. She had donned pristine white gloves to cover her tanned hands for this occasion. A pair of bobby pins lay in her right palm, it took only a moment to straighten and insert the strips of metal into the lock.
The Edelfelt woman fiddled with the pins for a few moments, looking for the right pattern. A subtle click could be heard from the other side of the door. She was no expert but it certainly wasn’t the first or last time she’d pick a lock. Agnès pulled the picks from the lock before standing up once more, folding the slender pieces of metal in her palm before dropping them in a small bag at her side. Turning the knob to the side, she slowly pushed the door open. No one had been in this room for some time, perhaps even a month or more. Dust had begun to settle on the ornaments and other nick nacks the Arc Knight kept around.
Agnès took a few slow steps into the room before turning and closing the door behind her. Her icy gaze soon returned to the space before her, it was nice, dark wood accented with similarly dark purples and blacks. Numerous book sleeves lined the walls, perhaps enough books to make up a small library. A surprising amount of art work hung on walls, sat on the shelves, or sat protected by a glass case. It was a nice surprise, she hadn’t taken the Arc Knight for a literary or an art appreciator. ‘Unless of course, this was all here from before he was appointed as Headmaster.’ Agnès thought to herself as her gaze followed the subtle light that bathed the checkered tiles and dark wood. It must have been a full moon outside tonight. But she didn’t have time to bask in the subtle details of the room.
Looking towards the man’s desk she could see a monitor and keyboard, unused, as well as a phone- a bright red light glowing near the top of the machine. Marking that the Arc Knight had quite a few messages he had yet to attend to. Behind the desk another wall of book cases and file cabinets lay. ‘That is what I’m looking for.’ Agnès thought to herself as she walked over towards the metal cabinets, pulling open the top drawer to peer inside. Her qi flowed smoothly from her left hand to form a dim pale pink light as she lifted her arm over the cabinet. She could see files neatly marked with names; luckily they seemed to be in alphabetical order. Agnès closed her eyes as she tapped her index finger against the lip of the drawer, “Now. What was her last name..?” She muttered to herself as she probed her memory. It had been a few days before she had requested the files of all the students attending True Cross who were taking Exorcist course work. She remembered going through many and noticing a number had questionable heritage, unclear on mother or father. Although, it wasn’t something she had made much thought of at the time. It wasn’t unusual to for a closed adoption to take place, or an orphan’s foster parents to hide the truth. But nothing could have prepared her for the words she had heard earlier in the afternoon- An’givare knew who Alaric was. The wyvern’s words still sent chills down the woman’s spine- for Alaric wasn’t just any half breed who couldn’t hide his aura. The wyvern likened the boy’s particular aura and the scent of his blood to that of Anyanka, the goddess of wind herself. Although, the beast had also questioned the boy’s strength.
Public records, particularly, those published in True Cross’s database were incomplete. They suggested the boy had been adopted by Durante Erzengel, a senior exorcist not far off her own caliber and recently murdered. But An’givare’s words suggested something very different. Agnès could only wonder how much the Arc Knight was aware of.. If he had knowingly taken in the young Prince only to leave him to train his abilities on his own. Things didn’t add up. There was also the matter of Akemi- a half breed she had also met just this afternoon.
Her memory was proving unusually elusive about something so simple. Growing up she was forced to memorize verses and recall them from memory in a fluid fashion. That sort of practice began when she had just been able to start stringing words together. Yet she was having issues recalling the young girl’s surname, despite having seen it on the list of files she had previously requested. It was quite vexing for the Edelfelt woman. Her face showing her increased annoyance as her lips pursed together firmly and wrinkles forming across her brow. Agnès let out a sigh, letting the emotion slip from her as she breathed out, focusing on the other details of the girl’s file. ‘A sharpshooter born in Germany.. sixteen years ago. Her family…’ Agnès thought to herself as her thoughts trailed off. ‘Oh.. I remember her file. She had a supposedly normal family. Shui. And Kaito Yogatoshi. If I recall…’ Agnès told herself as her mind seemed to put the pieces together, as the sound of the clock sounded in the background. Tick.. Tock.. Tick… Tock. Reminding her of the minutes passing by.
Agnès reminded herself how this “mission” wasn’t of great importance, and how she couldn’t suffer the brief moment of “amnesia” again- next time it may be something more critical. The Edelfelt woman muttered surnames to herself as she pulled their respective file, setting each down on the Arc Knight’s desk. Two files in total, small markers indicating where they belonged. Agnès left the file cabinet drawers open, intending to soon replace the files to their place.
Gloved fingers skimmed through pages of information, looking for the student’s familial information in each of the two files. It turned out to be a bust- the familial information between one Alaric Erzengel and Akemi Yogatoshi wasn’t comparable. It would appear the Arc Knight was very unaware of what lurked under his roof. She shook her head, it didn’t make sense. ‘Why he would allow so many half breeds to study in these walls- and one a Prince…?’ Agnès thought to herself, slumping into the Arc Knight’s office chair her mind began to wander as a blank expression filled her face.

Tavion would be left to ponder what exactly happened at the Forest of Screams which he was unaware of. Were they students that had such an immense amount of power? The Arc Knight would recall Ignazio speaking of his son boasting about his powers. Maybe it was him? No. Tavion would not jump to conclusions so quickly. He would have to investigate more before making a proper assessment. 'It couldn't have been a student.' He thought to himself as he traveled down the hallway to his office. The hard heeled footsteps reverberated against the empty hall and carpet less flooring. Anybody would be able to notice his approach. But would they be quick enough to react?
If they were in his office, probably not because his hand was upon the door knob. He had reached for his keys in order to unlock it but something had told him just to turn the knob and it would open. Surprisingly enough it did. At once he knew that someone was or had been on the other side of the door. The last time he had exited, he knew that he had remembered to lock his office. He took a deep breath and calmly opened the door to step through the threshold. He would be shocked at what would behold his eyes next.
Betrayal. Dishonestly. Disloyalty. All those words ran marathons in his head as he looked at the womanly figure that sat in his office chair peering at what seemed like files from where he was all the way across the room. His eyes didn't lie to him though. The woman that was betraying his trust was, Agnes "Clementine" Edelfelt. One of a few Upper First Class Exorcists and one of the only of her family. If he were brash and stupid he would've attacked her on sight but instead he had a few questions for her. He shook his head with a disgusted look about his face, one corner of his mouth drawn back. "Tsk Tsk Tsk. And to think you were to be trusted Ms. Edelfelt." He plainly and quite listlessly said as he approached the woman. This must have been the one Ignazio warned him about. "Tell me, have you found what you were looking for?" The intonation of the man's voice changing as to ultimately instill a feeling of regret into Agnes. To make her question herself. "And here I though we were 'friends'." Friends was heavily emphasized. By the time he was done talking he would have closed the distance between the two by roughly 2 yards. Talk to get close and then strike if need be. That was always his course of action when dealing with any humans whom shared the same special fate, as an Exorcist, as he did. "All you had to do was ask, I would've shared them with you, HOWEVER since you had to go behind my back that leads me to believe your working against me. What is it you mean to do? Is this of your own accord? I would like the truth...the first time I ask..." These questions asked served a purpose and they were carefully thought about while he was rambling on in the beginning to see if it was just her or if this was a precursor to his life being in grave danger. Whether or not Ignazio's words served as a warning to go 'missing' before the Order really wanted his head.

Agnès “Clementine” Edelfelt
Aria || Tamer || Upper 1st Class
It would seem her foray into these matters had lingered too long. She could hear the steps of the approaching Arc Knight, and noticed his qi signature. It was quite different than before- weaker. As if the man had somehow regressed. The door knob turned, evidently he had sensed something was quite wrong- he would be right in this suspicion. The man entered the room failing to hide his disgust, his face distorting into an ugly combination of creases along his forehead and a gapping mouth- his eyes were like daggers.
Agnès kicked up her heels on top of the desk as he spoke, a dark smirk crossing her lips. She didn’t fear the Knight nor did she buy the tones in his words. He was aggressive, agitated, distraught maybe. All because she had broken and entered this office? Looked for something he supposedly would of explained? ‘You should be aware of what I do for a living…’ Agnès told herself as she shook her head. If he really thought she was someone he could trust- he was mistaken. She didn’t serve him, and had grown to particularly dislike the man over the recent couple of weeks. That was something that went beyond her family’s lack of support for him. The Arc Knight went on to ask her of what she had learned; if it had been enough to satisfy her curiosity and that he believed them to be friends. His emphasis on the word made her crack up with the hyena like laughter that the Edelfelt had become known for. “Friends.. you say? That is funny. You know who’s been picking up on your duties…? I suppose not. You’ve disappeared without a trace for weeks and are unaware of the things that have transpired.” She said coldly to him.
Agnès dropped her heels to the floor once more, pushing herself out of the chair violently sending it flying for the far wall as the Arc Knight began to make his threats. ‘Working against you..? That is cute. I suppose you think I’ve gone rogue and am now looking for a way to bring Satan into this world too now don’t you..?’ She thought to herself, mocking his attempts to sound like a real threat. She closed the gap between them with long strides, leaving only two feet between them. Agnès looked up to him, as he towered over her, an icy glare meeting his dark eyes. She placed her hands up on her hips as a mischievous smile crossed her face. “So the sleepy knight wishes to make demands of me…? I will not jump just because you have commanded it.” The Edelfelt woman said fearlessly, a smirk crossing her lips as she began to make confident strides back towards the Arc Knight’s desk- where the files she had pulled lay scattered on its surface.
Her finger tips dragging ever so slightly across the surface of the wood, pausing over the edge of one of the files. Agnès looked up towards the Arc Knight, “You have more than just a few questions to answer..” The Edelfelt woman growled as her fingers slid under the corner of Alaric's file, loosely gripping it before throwing it in the Arc Knight's direction. “Mind explaining why there are so many half breeds running around this academy..?! You have any idea what they have been up to?!” Agnès yelled at the Arc Knight, her words did not disguise her anger nor tones of malice in her voice. ‘Does he really not know who he hides under this roof…? And how poorly he is preparing them for the day they leave this place..?!’ The Edelfelt woman questioned herself. She couldn’t help but wonder where the ignorant man had been for the past weeks, nothing seemed to add up. But perhaps it was just further evidence of how unfit he was for the position he had been put into…

What a disrespectful little wench. As he spoke the Upper First Class decided that it were a smart idea to test his patience by kicking her feet up on his desk, one thing that even he barely did, without even giving it a second thought. A smirk meant to mock him followed but he would not act. Not yet. She wasn't finished with her taunting and heckling. Her hyena like laughter split the silence of the office. Tavion shook his head. It was quite a shame that not even this one respected him. No one in the Order did for that matter. All of them LOVED to mock him. Not only for his exceedingly young age for attaining Arc Knight but because they thought him to be only a young fool. To keep the peace he played along with such. In the shadows of it all, he was conspiring, making plans for the future not for now. They would continue to spit on his name forever and deprive him of glory that should have been his.
At this moment, none of that matter but the fact the Agnes continued on by saying something about his sarcastic comment towards being friends. Not everybody had the same sense of humor and she must've not gotten the hint that he was being terribly snide. In no way shape or form had he actually wanted to be friends with any of these people. Akai, Barthomeloi, Edelfelt, Kusanagi, Ryuuzaki, Yggdmillennia. All of them were the same and wanted nothing better than to see an outsider fall. Atleast that's how he felt about it. She spoke about picking up his slack to which he was grateful and although it wasn't completely his fault that he had been absent without a trace but he would accept the blame being placed onto him in that regard. "Your diligence is much appreciated." He clapped twice sharply in a mocking congratulatory way almost akin to saying: 'Okay. Want a cookie for your hard work?'
The sound of plastic wheels rolling against hardwood made its way into the ears of the Arc Knight before the chair in which Agnes had been sitting in went crashing into the wall. With a few strides the Edelfelt woman was damn near in his personal bubble looking up at him with an unyielding expression accompanied by more disrespect. The calm Aria side of him had to suppress the savage fighter side's urge to choke the small woman up into the air when she mocked his absence and the title he held, to which he cleared his throat and closed his eyes. Fortunately enough, Agnes had removed herself from his bubble and back to the desk only to continue to try and stir him up by scattering files at his feet. Tavion bent down on one knee to pick up the loose pieces of paper to return them to their rightful file folder. He calmly gathered them all and stood straight back up to walk back to the desk to place it ontop. A sigh escaped his lips. "Your greatest ally is your enemy that wants to be your ally. They are invaluable pieces on the board because they can ultimately become something that we full humans could never hope to achieve. I can image though, their becoming terrifyingly powerful~" Tavion spoke ever so unruffled as if Agnes hadn't just metaphorically spit on him three times.

The Arc Knight was surprisingly passive in his response, an obvious attempt to restrain himself from her increasingly violent behavior. His words were reserved, as if trying to distill some ideal that demons could blend in with humans without a second thought. That the students he harbored would have little reason to turn back on their heritage- and choose the exorcist path above that of another world. Agnès closed her eyes tight, shaking her head. A moment of silence passing as she processed the worlds and implications of them.
The Arc Knight’s answer lead her to believe he wasn’t aware of Alaric’s origin, nor was he fully aware of what had transpired in the forest of screams. Even if he did know, did he truly believe Alaric would turn his back on the Goddess of Wind..? Agnès wondered what path that boy would choose; his father recently murdered and from what was known it may not have been a demon’s job. Would he choose to join the Exorcist’s cause if it was found that the woman who had murdered his father was one of their own..? It was a touchy subject which could only be answered in time.
Agnès opened her eyes once more, icy glare staring off towards the checkered pattern of the inlaid floor. “You wish to make weapons of them then.” The Edelfelt woman said calmly but coldly, her gaze remaining fixed on some imaginary point along the moon lite floor. A slow moment of silence passed before the Agnès would speak again, her icy gaze returning to the Arc Knight once more; “These half-breeds are sitting ducks for extremists. You realize that right..? You’ve studied to be an Aria. Do you not sense their overwhelming aura’s..? Even from here, I could tell you exactly where your precious pupils are.” She said aloud, as she moved from behind the desk and approaching the tall arched windows on the far wall.
She took lanky strides towards the inlayed tile, stopping near the center window. Crossing her arms over her chest she stared emptily out the tall window. Not particularly waiting for the Knights’ answer, she didn’t think he was the same man as before. The weakness in his own aura could attest to that, she questioned if the man could still sense the demonic auras as he might have been able to do in the past. She stood silently for some time, the subtle tick, tock of the clock filling in the silence.
Agnès final broke the quiet, decidedly not looking back towards the fair haired man, “You’ve no idea what is going on in this Academy…? Do you?” She said finally.

After Tavion was finished speaking, a silence overtook the two. Agnes was trying to process just what it was the he had just said. That was his belief. If the half-demons were allowed some decency they would not turn on those that had given them safe asylum from the very kind that ruthlessly hunted them because they were not full demon. It mattered not their heritage but who sheltered them from the creatures that went bump in the night. It was a gamble, coming to each of them save for Alaric, that Tavion was willing to take because if it all worked out they would be on the Order(his) side when/if it was time for a full scale war or the ones that would bridge the gap between Demon and Humankind when the Age of Peace came to existence.
Concerning Alaric's past, Durante didn't necessarily keep it a secret nor did he expose it to the world that his child was a half-demon. The only thing that was not entirely known was whether or not Alaric was the Goddess of Wind, Anyanka's, heir. Tavion had heard rumors of it being so but he couldn't say for certain whether or not it was true. The young Arc Knight had never seen his powers in action before so there was always an asterisk in his mind over that.
Agnes' questions puzzled Tavion as if she thought he were that heartless than to think of the half demons as only mere weapons. "Heavens no." He answered with a shake of his head. There was still a hint of rigidity in the questions. Her gaze fixed back on Tavion speaking of extremists. He shook his head once more. "Let them come. They will prove that they are worthless by being afraid of some power. I sense it but I'm not afraid. Embrace what you cannot attain and do your part. Let them do their part." Agnes moved from her spot at the desk over to the window in the center, his eyes following her movement. Tavion did loathe becoming weaker than he was. It was just the luck of the draw. What Ignazio referred to as a rune; a blessing and a curse, chose him not the other way around. He would not display the source of his weakness but rather covered it with a bandage wrapped around his neck. He would not showcase it until he learned it's power and become stronger than he was before. It would take some time but he was willing to take the time.
Finally after sometime, the silence that washed into the room broke as Agnes asked him whether or not he truly had any idea what was going on in the Academy at the present. "Truthfully, not all of it. I was....away. I have investigated the Forest of Screams and I have reason to believe that it was a few of the precious half demons getting stronger over there. Your previous words have given me that much."

It had been quite some time since his encounter with the Upper Class Exorcist woman of the Edelfelt family. Quite the woman she was. Fearless. Enough that it'd make you ooze with desire. Tavion spun in his chair to glance at the clock. It was about that time. Some of the 'exceedingly gifted students' went on a 'field trip' which was just a cover for what it truly was. The Exorcist Qualification Exams. The make it or break it for aspiring Exorcists like some of the ones that attended True Cross. He had no doubt in his mind that those students would pass with flying colors and obtain some of the highest ranks possible with the Exam. The written portions that is. He had no idea what they're capabilities were as he hadn't seen them in action for quite some time. Hopefully he would be surprised at some of their progress.
Tavion would stand up and fish for a ring of keys that found it's home in his right pant pocket. He pulled them out with there being a total of 11 keys present. He was missing one but that'd be one that he possibly never get his hands on. The Dungeon Key. Only the Paladin got their hands on that one and that was the key to the highest rank in the Order. Tavion figured Ignazio the First had that one, being that he was one of the senior Arc Knights and he had the most influence within the Order. The key that the youngest of the Arc Knights needed, was the Key of Location which would allow him to travel to the Exam location, known as Hanging Neck Island. Tavion hadn't yet been there because his test was not given here with this island being a new site. This would be quite the experience.
Tavion gripped the key he needed in his hand and walked at a swift pace over to his office door. Lowering his hand somewhat, he fitted the key into the hole in the door and turned it to the left which would unlock the dimension. He grabbed the door handle to swing open the door and he was met with quite the bustling city. It looked as if it were going to dump him into the city where a phone booth was present. That was fine by him, so he would step through and close his office door behind him.

Another dreary Tuesday morning had come and passed, the subtle sounds of the light rain falling outside the open window served as the only consistent melody to Agnès’s newest ‘punishment’. Despite her success in leading the troupe of young students and staff to recapture the Academy and rebuild the barrier as well as collecting video evidence of the young half breeds demonic affinities during the same plight- she was given a task most depressing. Or at least, that’s how Agnès viewed this new paper punishing job she had been tasked with. New headmistress to the Japan branch, to replace the fallen fool who had succumbed to the toxic miasma of a demon unknown; she could hope it was a temporary filling. She knew she wasn’t one who craved this sort of spot light.. Preferring the shadowy arts of infiltration and demon hunting rather than babysitting.
Yet another box filled with relics of a man long gone, soon went flying out from the open window without much regard for who they had once belong to. It had been the fifth box the fair haired woman had thrown from the recently rebuilt office. It wasn’t much different than before. Sharing striking similarities in size and general layout as the office that once stood before it. The room wasn’t much, suitable enough to do business in- if that were something she were ever inclined to do. Or lounge.. But truthfully the Edelfelt woman planned to spend very little time bound to the confines of this place. A few major changes had been made to the small room however, namely an upgraded security system that required a key-card to unlock the door without force. It was connected electronically to a separate app that would allow the headmistress to lock or unlock the door from just about anywhere. If only to prevent someone breaking into the space like she had done weeks before. A small smile crossed the tanned woman’s face as she took a deep breathe out. The place was finally clear of the deceased things- some of which were quite unsavory.. And only evidence enough of his strange interests in some of the student body. Agnès had wondered why such things had been returned to the room in the first place once the school had been rebuilt… But it wasn’t much of her concern now.
She took long strides from the edge of her desk towards the open window, a small white object in her hand. Her icy gaze was soon met by the darkened sky above, and faded greenery of the courtyard- although the miasma had been dispelled it seemed even the new plant life struggled to thrive as the tall trees once had. It was funny how so much destruction had happened yet the only clue to who was behind it was the expansive miasma and rotting that had occurred- some kin of Astaroth. Although, it was troubling how the miasma and poison came after the flames, and destruction of the main campus. It didn’t add up.. But there was nothing more to go on other than satellite photos. Her eyes shifted downwards towards the pathway before the Academy. Few students were out and about now. Classes were in session once more- and none of the non-cram school students should have been about. Yet, despite that truth there did seem to be a commotion at one of the dorms, it was a bit peculiar. Agnès’s icy gaze quickly shifted from the chaos of young and stupid and towards her beasts that seemed to have dutifully collected the articles of trash she had thrown out from the lofty office. Bringing the small bone whistle to her lips she blew through it just lightly- the sound too high for the human ear yet easily heard by the fearsome wyvern and majestic kirin. It was a signal of sorts, for a little display of their skills. Despite the rain it wouldn’t be much trouble for them to create a sort of unholy flame. There was enough combustible things in the pile to fuel such a fire. From the late Arc Knights collection of booze to his extensive collection of.. photographs. The iridescent wyvern opened its mouth once it could hear the shrill sound of its master’s whistle- electric sparks coming forth from its maw and out towards the pile of crap before the beast. As the blinding lightning struck the papers and booze a dark fire irrupted. Consuming everything it touched.. till of course it ran out of things to consume.
Agnès didn’t watch the fire as her beasts did, instead closing her eyes as she began to channel her qi to the soles of her feet. A bit curious to why the student body seemed… in such a struggle to leave that particular area of campus. It wasn’t as if An’givare was off trying to poach one of them for a midday snack. No.. He was being quite behaved today. Her qi channeled out downwards till it hit the solid earth well below.. Then spread out like sonar out around campus. It was a few minutes before she could sense the unusual qi spike coming from the Kurthnaga house. Her eyes opened once more, “Oh…? How annoying.. More troublemakers on campus..” Agnès said with a soft sigh as she stepped back and closed the open window before her. She really didn’t like this baby sitting job she had been given. Especially when there always seemed like there were better ways to spend her time than having to wander off to see what student thought it was a great idea to start some kind of a fight on campus- at least that was as much as she could assume from the spike in qi use she had felt. The Edelfelt woman wasted no time in grabbing her things and taking her leave down the stairway. She would soon be joined by her familiars once she reached the damp outside world. It’d be a matter of seconds on the wyvern’s back side… as it truly wasn’t that far away. The other would follow suit on ghost-like wings.
