"Well.. yeah? I guess I'm shy.." He laid on his stomach across the couch, peering down at Nevada. "I know I've been on this island a long time now, but I'm still not used to making friends. I just don't know how. I made friends with you, and Eva, but I think that's just cause you guys tend to be pushy. I'm... very not pushy."
He frowned, "I don't know how to talk to people unless it's about work. There's a wall there.."

"I am offended...I am not pushy...." She grinned, "I'm persuasive."
She hesitated and then thoughtfully looked at him, "We'll find you more good friends Otto. Stick with me. You can meet Milo or Solomon or Dorian. The middle of those two is a giant manchild. He's pretty fun."
She reaching up to flick him on the nose. "Is there anything else that's bothering you Handsome? Besides Eva and uh...your lack of persuasiveness?"

"Um... I don't know?" He murmured, suddenly feeling a little shy about opening up so much. "I mean, work is hard but.. you can't really help with that. I dunno..." He couldn't bring up issues that weren't afflicting him at the moment. As it was, he was feeling safe and comfortable. Nothing was bothering him right then.
"I haven't been drumming much anymore, I guess. Too busy, and I just.. don't want to do much of anything." Maybe he just needed a vacation.
"It must be boring listening to me complain. I'm fine. We should stop.." He buried his head in his arms, his heart starting to close up.

"Work is hard!" Nevada laughed, "And I can help more then you think." She nodded sagely, "Just ask when you wake up. What good is being a mist hunter if I can't help out in all the divisions?"
"Oh..." She narrowed an eye, "We'll fix that tomorrow then. More drumming! MORE OBNOXIOUS MUSIC TO BOTHER THE NEIGHBORS!!" She hurrahed from her spot quietly!
"No it's not, It's okay to complain to me Otto." She reached up and laced her hand through his, tugging it from where he was playing ostrich. "I care a lot about you, and this is good for you." She squeezed. "Now though, it's probably best to sleep off all the uh....emotions okay?"

"I actually... made friends with Stormy the other day, I think... She helped me with my chores. She's really super nice." Otto beamed, recalling the run in wit the other mist not so long ago.
Otto smiled, squeezing her hand back. She was just such a wonderful friend. How lucky!
"Yeah, sleep is a good idea." He agreed with a slow nod. With some effort, he rose from his curled up and cozy spot on the couch, a sudden head rush after having been lying down so long. "Bed time."

"Stormy's a very good friend" Nevada yawned, thinking of her roommate. "she has this...She makes me really happy. I miss her a lot." she nodded.
"sleep, yes...Good idea." Nevada stayed in her pile of pillows and somehow managed to pull a blanket out, making herself comfortable again.
"Night Otto, I can't wait for your hangover tomorrow..."

"Hangover?" Otto wondered aloud, getting up and heading to his room. Nevada often took the pillow pile as a spot to sleep. However, his sensitive self felt badly that he got a big comfy bed and she didn't. So before he laid himself down for the night, he returned to the living room with an extra duvet.
He laid it over Nevada's sleepy form, then hurried himself off to bed himself.
