Claudia Vesslia The dense fog outside brushed up against the window with the moon light's rays squeezing through it. A blue beam shined on Claudia's pale face and her eyes submitted to its provoking insolence. A mumbling voice was conversing with a certain partner that should be in Neutral City with his teammates. They had succeeded in their rescue mission and reformed the Guildeam's preference on the subject on the jewels. That was gracious of them, but she wanted to know more of her sister's affairs because Ruby's as distant as usual. The child had been through hell and back, and it was her fault for not answering to her siblings cries sooner. The blonde adjusted her body and sat up seeing that Nyru pillow gesture indicated the vexation of loneliness. She couldn't fulfill Laxion's position of course, but getting up and giving him a pat on the shoulder should suffice.
The shadowmancer exited the luxurious sweet and glided down the corridor like a ghost, metaphorically because she was dressed a white nightgown. If only she knew Adi was compromising with a prince that liked playing God. Weaving in and out of the light, she acquainted herself with the empty throne room, or at least she thought it was abandoned. Why was she there anyway? Her mind was scrabbled for the most part but she figured she should apologize to Declasia for dismissing herself informally today. Also, maybe the woman would be so kind as to educate her on some secret validations to conclude why her immortality was desired. The girl stood in the dark candle lit room staring ahead without a signal expression on her face.

  The Prince of Crows
((such an unflattering post layout this time D smile )
Her peaceful night would never be, not when the Prince of Crows was around, and he came to realise her true feelings about him after he spoke up. It was like being attacked by a cat that suddenly decided you were it's net meal. And this kitty was ignoring all her pain to stride before him and question his actions. She verbally scolded him for marking her, explaining that she was disgusted to have been similarly branded just as Darius' men had done. And of coarse he knew had caused her pain, possible made it difficult for them to win, but before he could have a chance to give another puzzle, another riddle, her palm coming for his face father than a cat could swipe.
But her hand struck with thin air, before she could blink he was gone but instead he was sitting behind her on her own bed with his hands together before his lap, fingers locked together like a zip as he spoke up and explained, " elite power cannot come without it's consequences". He tilted his head as if to suggest she should understand that quite well. "I gave you my mark to observe and I can say I'm impressed, Rur'adika. Now i know what you possess, do you not think what i did was but to help you for my own reasons, just as i did the others. Without my mark" he said, "do you not think the power would have consumed you. There are some people that like to see the world... better. And Vladimir showed his true colours, you struck him down for it."

Back in the throne room, Claudia was roaming and hoping for an appearance by the Queen. Her soft steps even echoed across the cold walls and floors, even in the dead of the night the room still felt safe though. No nightmares would dare to desecrate the room, but Darris managed it. And that was something that Declasia was quite keen on eradicating with a cold heart herself. The room was clean now from any blood, any tears on fabrics, and Declasia herself was in fact nearby and knew Claudia was on her way. Stepping into the room behind Claudia, the Queen's heeled stepped tapped the stone floor and rebounded off the walls. She stopped briefly behind her as she said "It is awfully late for you to be roaming the halls Claudia.". When she passed the girl and turned around to face her in the centre of the room she asked "there must be something you wish to discuss with me?"

Claudia Vesslia The rooms blood evidence had been mopped up and the tears in the rug along with the red curtains were repaired. The blonde thrived in the solitude until the queen's sharp heels clicked on the obsidian tile but didn't startle her. She stood respectfully until the woman were within her visual perimeter and when she was the shadowmance knelled. "Forgive me for intruding in this late hour and I also apologize for my unprofessional absence. As a royal guard this is unacceptable and I am not worthy to be in your court, but that is for you to decide. If you deem me humble then may I ask of you the what the desire of your immortality means to others? Has it been sought after before by someone of defiled intentions like Vladimir? When did you first become an immortal, and if it is to bold to say, you couldn't have been born one, right?"
Claudia kept her eyes on the ground to ashamed to look at the elegant elvish woman because she was nothing more than a worm compared to her. Her heart pulsed and she stayed in her position because standing up without consent could be considered defiance. Furthermore, her interrogation probably wasn't amusing in the least so her judgement was more than expected as well as a punishment. However, couching over was causing her side unbearable pain and if she wanted to stand the queen would mostly like have to help her.

Her hand breezed through the air she thought she would finally feel a bit of pleasure of striking him. The irritatingly curious and fascinating man that disappeared and reappeared without notice or warning. The self proclaimed prince that gave power and played with people like pawns. Adi since the battle had ended wanted nothing more then to strike him.
As her hand would have met his cheek, the Prince was gone, leaving nothing but empty air for her hand to sweep through. It left the gypsy a bit off kilt, but was able to recover quickly.
Adi whipped around with a bit of a cringe as she took in the man...creature again reappearing on her bed of all places while stating the obvious. "Of course," she stated smartly crossing her arms over her chest while walking toward the bed. "I'm well aware of this, even as a simple human witch."
The look he gave her made Adi glare a bit as if he was thinking her stupid, it smoothed out though as he gave his comment of being impressed. It brought a slight blush to the gypsy's face even as she glanced away. As he continued on she listened, bristling a bit as he made it out as if he had helped.
"I...we struck him down for he was forcing his opinion on others in a very wrong and bloody way," she stated firmly, arms still crossed. "Fine to have an opinion, its just how one goes about making the change is where you can go oh so wrong...which I'll state you're wrong."
Those words came with a firm poke to the Prince's chest, before Adi was unlassing the ties of her nightgown. The neck beginning to drop and drop off her right shoulder, the young woman spun so her back was to the Prince. As the flowing creamy nightgown dropped further it revealed the very mark they were discussing. However, it did not look like Nyru's, rather it around the edges of the tattoo, Adi's skin was raised and angry red, the skin puffy and even a bit shiny as if she was being burned by the mark on her skin.
"I hope you're not blind and can't see that clearly you're mark isn't helping, it's making things more difficult! I'm not sure if you planned it that way or not...but if you'd be so kind to make it better it would be much appreciated."
Adi stated this firmly while staring a head, she had to focus on being firm as standing with half her back exposed was certainly something she didn't do to near strangers.

  The Prince of Crows
Rur'Adika was perhaps the most displeased she had ever been, the Prince could tell that. Her spiteful side that rarely showed was glaring and baring its fangs at him. "We?" he repeated after she finished her sentence, letting her then continue where she said that he was wrong. Suspicion grew within him, as he began to wonder where on Magic Earth she found this confidence, but deep down the Prince knew.
Then all of a sudden she was undressing her shoulder, revealing her beautiful young skin that shimmered but the sight of her wound-like mark was a different view entirely. He felt no remorse nor guilt from seeing it, she was right he knew exactly what would happen. "It was experimental" he began, his next sentence came out of his mouth without having to move his lips. That was because his voice came from another corner whilst his old visage completely vanished with a blink. Before she could be outraged with his answer he did however say "I knew what would happen i just did not know on what degree. However, obviously, my mark is no longer of any use and my activity from this land has been purged until the next time." he waved his hand and her mark began to fade away beneath her skin, leaving behind only the redness that it created in the first place. "But!" he did warn, "There are far greater evils in this world, and i do hope that you're not going to rely completely on the whim of a High Angel, Rur'Adika. For your better judgement that i have observed from Right, or Wrong is going to be a great asset to everyone who dares to see the truth in the coming days of darkness."
With that, his body floating backwards into the darkness before vanishing in the solid walls, his fading voice only saying "But this time i shall have no part and merely watch what unfolds" in a tone that described how little he cared for it's ending.
___________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Claudia was most apologetic, and the blonde seemingly was far more polite than she ever used to be before the Queen's supposed death. However the question she asked was most certainly a tie-in with the reasons why Claudia may have acted like that before. All of a sudden, she kneeled and Declasia almost tutted as she went on with her question. Fristly, Declasia still stood calmly and respectfully with her shoulders bck and chin up. She said "You need not kneel before me when you had just had a part in saving out land. I should be kneeling to you". The queen stood silently for afew moments as she thought of what way to better describe herself as a being and how she came to be. "If you're going to listen you must not look ashamed to look me in the eye" she then added, finally about to start. "I was a girl in Egypt, Ancient Egypt. I was mortal and watched as the beings known as the Eternal spread across Europe and finally met with us. They had untold power, far superior to any seen today. Then once upon a time i grew tired of war, of sorrow, of death, that i seeked out power of my own with a group of followers that were the first Delorius'tatem." she said the Guild's prior name with pride, it was her people's name before they took on the Guildisation and joined the Guildeam many, many years ago. "There were not many of us, many didn't agree with our ways, but we found solitude beneficial. We also found that the dark arts would help us, and from then on we vowed that shadows must only be used against whatever darkness would face us, like fighting fire with fire. Many of us perished from the rituals... and i dark times like that it was almost a blessing for those that... died. I however, became immortal, embracing the shadows and aiding where ever i could to purge the evil taints. Over the years i gained respect, followers, and though i watched them give birth, grow old and die, it became increasingly obvious that our kind was slowly becoming less and less appreciated in Non-Magic Earth. Thus... we traversed the land, the nearest portal at the time was only Stonehenge, at midnight on a full moon. We came to Magic Earth when it was young a fresh, and no Eternal lived. In a conclusion to your question... my immortality is something no one should have, or ever want. I had nothing and so had nothing to lose upon gaining my life, and losing the capability of love. My curse is a blessing to those that mean evil, for they do not require the one thing that keeps us all to our roots of being human. Love."

The quick way the Prince questioned the 'we' that Adi had let slip. Her lips parted as she stumbled for an answer, as Zuriel was silent in their conversation giving no feedback. She was slightly panicked as she stared at the far wall as he stared at her exposed shoulder and back. The gypsy though was never expecting the reply she received.
"Experimental!?" she exclaimed clearly put out about it but her answer more out of surprise before her anger came. Before she could really be outraged though, the Prince spoke again, but she boiled even more underneath her skin as he spoke further. Then the pain was lifted and she could breath again.
Readjusting her nightgown, Adi finally turned to face the Prince where he was in the room, his warning clear in his tone and she was smart enough to at least listen with open ears. She flinched a bit about the comment of a High Angel, it was clear who that was. With the warning of days of darkness she couldn't stop herself from speaking a few words
"...the Darkness is coming..." she breathed.
With the Prince making his departure so effortlessly and quickly, Adi was attempting to race after him. "Wait! Prince...I'm not -" but she was bracing herself against the wall he had disappeared through. "...damnit..."
'You are either brave or stupid to be so disrepsectful and casual with such a creature Adi...I have no idea which one it is however,' stated Zuriel finally in her head. She was about to question his silence when the angel spoke up once more. 'He may have taken the mark away...but I fear that wont be enough. I'm connected to your soul Adi...and I'm well aware that his dark powers have already made themselves comfortable and at home within it....he's mark may or may not return...but his powers remain.'
So essentially her human soul was a magical sponge for rare and powerful powers in the land...lucky her. Sighing, it gave her much more to think about, and Adi wasn't about to get any more sleep this night. So dressing in a light pair of cream colored blouse and skirt, she wandered the castle, allowing herself to get herself lost in it.

Claudia Vesslia Claudia thought it was strange for the woman to even think of bowing down to her, however, the old her would have enjoyed the sight. The blonde was encouraged to look her in the eye respectful as she spun her tale about how she gained immortally. The purple skinned elf, although hard to believe that she originated from Egypt due to the lack of a tan, said she grew tried of militia and sorrow. These Eternal creatures attacked relentlessly and thus the Delorius 'tatem, now named the Guildeam, was formed. They excelled in black magic to charge against other dark magic users which obviously made them victorious in the end. Now she understood why she developed the powers of a shadowmancer at a young age even though these power use to cause her nightmares. Passing through the Stonehenge architecture on the night of a full moon, she came here to live her days in peace with all Eternal present. This all seemed to heavy, but the worst part of the story was that in order to stay immortal the price to pay was giving up, Love. The queen cannot categorize herself as human because of this and watching people come and go is like a gentle breeze.
"I see. I guess happily ever after is just a myth then." Standing up, she pressed her side in pain and thought about all the friends she cared about. "Why did you choose to tell me? Even though I asked you could have denied me. What if I can't be trusted and followed the same path as Darris and..." Suddenly, she heard a slight click of a heel and the smell of a rosy perfume. Pointing an invisible bow with a loaded arrow at the queen, she said, "Don't move." In fact, she wasn't aiming for the woman at all. On the wall was her silhouette inside the shadows formed by the candles. Her shadow was elongated and it was pointing to the platform above where the assassins jumped down from and attacked them that one time. The archer released her shadow wall arrow that became real when it hit its target in the leg. The eavesdropper fell from the platform and landed on the floor with a thud screaming at the top of her lungs. "I was wondering where you were hiding, Curtessa. I knew he didn't kill you. Your gossip must have been worth something. How much of our conversation did you hear?"
She limped over to her, grabbed her by the neck and pinned herself against the wall. The woman was light so it didn't cause Claudia to much pain, but the female was exhausted nonetheless and it would be seen in her face. "Why did you help him? Did you honestly think he loved you? Carried for you?" She squeezed her neck and was applause with herself as how cruel she had become. Claudia threw the female aside and held her side breathing hard.

Wandering as she was, allowing herself to get lost and not caring where she went, Adi saw few people this late at night or early in the morning...she wasn't sure of the hour. Either way, the dark palace was just that, dark and nearly empty, the torches allowing orange light making the spaces glow while throwing long ebony shadows as darker as the stone itself if not darker.
Wandering deep in thought, with Zuriel just as silent and making a rare comment or two, Adi knew he was deep in thought. Course when the scream rang out, clearly coming out of no where and coming down from the hall she had just walked, the brunette panicked. Eyes wide and alight with tension and adrienaline, there was split second of pause before Zuriel spoke.
'...down the hall a ways down another small corridor...'
That seemed to be all Adi needed to begin sprinting down the hall, her wound forgotten. Eventually that didn't seem to be fast enough and from her back sprouted the wings she had used earlier in the day. They lifted her naked feet from the floor and she took off flapping and gliding through the hall towards the sound.
"I hope I'm not late..." she breathed, just picturing one of Darius' men still around and un-capture or killed, attempting to kill the Queen or whoever they could get their hands on.
Coming to double door, with a wave of her hand and some form of magic she didn't realize she was using the door flew ajar exposing the wide open room that Adi flew into. Panting she landed and stumbled slightly the landing jarring her and allowing her to remember her wound. But it was quickly overlooked since seeing Claudia there, the Queen and another woman that had an arrow through her leg.
"...um...am I late?" she droned raising a brow of confusion.

Delorius'tatem Conclave of Declasia ~ Declasia ~ Queen of The Land of Crows
Coming to the stunning conclusion of her life story was like feeling refreshed yet some what saddened about her tragic past. She had yet to explain all her life that followed after, all the events that unfurled with the Prince of Crows when he was a living, breathing man who helped and killed her, along with many of others. Whilst they lived on, a part of the entire race was left behind.
Claudia questioned why the Queen let Claudia know, and all she would say was that she was her Royal Guard, and had sacrificed her life for her. Anyone that wanted to take her life would already know what it would reward them. The only reason Darris was after the light that protected the City was because he thought that was her secret. But that is another story.
Claudia spotted something, heard someone hiding and eavesdropping on the entire conversation. That was enough to rattle the Queen, she parted her legs and stood in a stand, hold her hands out firmly around her. Shadows around her ebbing with power, ready to serve their queen in any way, shape, or manner. Suddenly, Claudia had hunted down her target and shot an arrow through the young woman's leg, it splintered the bone and shredded the muscle as blood tricked down and onto the recently cleaned, black tiles.
But then the girl was thrown aside after vigorous questioning, regaining her lost breath as Claudia felt her own pain and let her own disgust take over. Just then, Adi arrived, perplexed over the unfolding circumstances. "You're just in time to take the role of Jury" the queen muttered, letting Claudia regain herself nearby, as she passed barely muttering some words of encouragement, saying "Mortals have done far worse, Claudia. Know that whatever you do, you do it with a purpose".
Her heels got closer to the young woman, who was in agony, and trying to push herself back against another wall, but her shoes merely slid across the shiny black surface of the giant black bricks beneath her. The Queen gestured with her hands, and the shadows obeyed her like a mysterious animal, a dog wanting it's bones. The shadows around her shackled the girl's wrists against the wall and her ankles to the floor before turning to some sort of dark metal. "You've been found guilty of trespass and helping a convicted murderer, punishable by Falling" she said, if Nyru was here, he would be almost gulping at the thought of Falling. It was when you would be thrown down into an Inkwell, no one knows if you die or fall for the rest of eternity until you, by legend, reach the Underworld. "Do you have any last words for my Royal Guard?" she asked, turning to her side and gesturing to Claudia, who deserved answers.

Claudia Vesslia Adi slammed the doors open according to her will and landed on the ground accurately similar to a feline. The gypsy concerned herself with the matter of the intruder like a pristine little soldier and the woman was about to highly suggest that Adi take her place. As Curtessa convoluted in pain with the arrow embedded in leg, Claudia tried to maintain her train of thought as well as tranquility. Some much regret which was being to become a weight on her shoulders and dragging Nyru, Adi, and Isabelle down with her wasn't helping. She made a solemn vow to the queen of the Land of Crows that she would sacrifice to protect her majesty and obey every order like a loyal dog. Here she was bashing the ruler with her unrealistic morals and showing how truly ugly her heart is. Sure more despicable than others, yet Declasia insisted their neutral contact to stay valid? The queen summoned her unwavering shadows to assault Curtessa only to have herself merciless fulfill the job but with a multitude of consequences attached. For instance, Claudia doesn't know the full extent of her abilities and could have easy shot the queen in one clean blow. It necessarily wouldn't kill her, but dissolve her trust in the young archer.
Declasia strides towards the helpless victim sprinkling words that she couldn't believe unless she was brainwashed to accept the advice. 'Mortals have done worse', but she was in the same category as them now. Sentencing a man to death without a hearing was a federal offense and should be punishable by imprisonment, although a small flame in her mind found the revenge satisfying. She inflicted the heel clicking witch without hesitation, and question the female out of spite and jealous because Darris intended to keep her alive which Vincent attempted to assassinate her. She does what she does for a purpose, on the contrary, she did it because it feels invigorating, selfish, and self righteous. Nyru, she was sure of this, that he would find these accusations of her faults and in a way he is right. For now on, people should judge her more openly so she could confirm what kind of person she is.
The queen's shadows shackled Curtessa as the woman tried to escaped due to pure fear of the immortal's wrath. The transparent shadows solidified, like her new power, and dangled the convict by her hands. The blood dripped neatly into a puddle beneath her and the queen assigned Falling. The images of being tossed into the mossy moist well, the echoing of the never-ending scream, the sensation of turbulence, and the enviable cracking of the neck or the endless abyss haunted her. Declasia's judgement is absolute and with that she wanted Curtessa to confess her final words to Claudia's questions. "Forget it. I don't need her to comfy to me what I already know. Anyway," she straightened up in between her speech, "the only difference between us is that I have connections." The blonde slumped to the double doors, passing Adi without a glance along the way, and turn to say more thing. "We'll have all the time to discuss whatever we want in Hell." She left on her sour note and trumped down the hall only to sense Nyru nearby. "Did you enjoy the show?" She asked shamefully knowing that he was there the whole time. (I hope it's okay that I put Nyru in there.)

Gracefully standing from her crouch, she stood to her full height and watched the others in the room. The queen though not loud when saying it, her words still caught the gypsy's ears. Jury...? She wanted her to be jury to the woman? It was clear though that this stranger to Adi was no stranger to the other two woman in the room.
Stepping closer and calmly looking on, she never interrupted as the Queen stated her crimes and handed out her punishment. Soon asking for her last words before 'Falling', not that the Gypsy knew what that was, but from the look on the stranger's face it wasn't a pleasant fate.
Claudia announcing her last bit of word before marching out with grace and her chin held high though she still looked burdened to Adi's eyes as she passed. Not knowing that Nyru was outside as well, the human's eyes turned on the Queen with no hint of gold in them at this time even when her glowing gold wings till showed. The new limbs more distinguished this time and where the limbs arched to behind flowing to the floor were now actual full feathers, not figments of light as before.
"I'll be frank Your Highness, but its rather difficult to be jury when the sentence has already been given."

Delorius'tatem Conclave of Declasia ~ Declasia ~ Queen of The Land of Crows
Declasia had given the Royal Guard her chance, but Claudia was rattled, distraught, she couldn't bare to hear any more of what she could already confess herself. Curtessa saying it would only be like burning steel to an ice cold bucket of water. Nyru however was on his way down the corridor, noticing how Claudia's bed was empty, and after passing Adi's too, noticed how she was gone. With coincidence he worked his way down to the throne room where he saw everyone in a short distance. On his way, he say Claudia coming towards him and he said "What's the meeting ab-" but she cut him off ((hope you don't mind me changing this bit ever so slightly)), stating the show she just gave.
Stopping in his tracks as she passed him he gave a look as he watched her figure get smaller and sink into the darkness until he finally looked at the others through the doors. Meanwile the Queen could only give a nod to say Adi was correct in what she said, though still stunned by Claudia's choice. Right now the Queen would normally have a guard to escort Curtessa away, though many of them were resting, only few less being buried, perhaps even still now. She could only look to Curtessa, who couldn't bare a word, before teh Queen made her judgement again. "She'll stay here then" she said, "And don't bother bending the shadows" she warned to Curtessa "those shackles will never break, and these walls were forged from magic beyond your skill".
Nyru was then beside Adi, he couldn't help but squint almost at Adi's shimmering wings, they were beautiful. He wore nothig more than some simple lounging trousers, and a long sleeved cream top. Running his hand through his dark hair he said "What has Claudia done now?" knowing how brash the girl can be on the occasion, whilst then also giving a small bow to the Queen.

Claudia Vesslia When Nyru approached her she interrupted him of course, but she assured herself that she would apologized later. Anyway, it was time for her to dismiss herself for being to bold in the Queen's presents. The woman told her everything she wanted to know and she basically pointed an arrow at her. Nyru fled to the throne room to investigate the ruckus and by this time she was back in the room. She laid on the couch staring blankly up at the ceiling. "Why did she tell me all that?" Declasia shouldn't trust anyone let alone the her own guards after what just happened to her. Claudia sighed and curled her fingers through the lose strands of her hair pondering her journey so far. Suddenly, she remembered all the letters she sent to Ruby before they ceased the Palace back from Vladimir. Not one returned, and she could only hope that her little sister is alive and well. This was the albino girl that could surpass even the strongest of men so why was she fretting so much? The woman closed her eyes waiting for Nyru to come back in to either pick a fight or give her friendly advice.

Glancing over her shoulder and past the shimmering wings, she watched Claudia's back disappear into the darkness of the halls. Only then did she turn back to the Queen, unaware that Nyru was down the hall crossing paths with their fellow archer.
A nod was her answer to her words of jury being unneeded since sentence was already given. Though listening now and hearing the Queen state that the girl would stay here for now till sentence was carried out, Adi raised a brow. It was an odd thing to do she thought, would have thought a cell would have been more appropriate. Course the cell were mostly full of the remaining few of Vladimir's followers in the hopes they may have useful information.
"Is it wise to let her stay here? Not that I don't believe these 'chains' won't break, but it could be you in further danger potentially..." the gypsy said in a smooth tone, curious more then questioning.
It was just as she finished that sentence that Nyru walked in and stepped to her side. Noting his sort of squinted look, the wings' light clearly upsetting his sight. With no further danger or need for them, the wings vanished with a mere subconscious thought.
"I have no idea what's wrong with Claudia...I hear screams while I was walking and came rushing here to find this all mostly taken care of..." she said gesturing to the woman chained and wounded and to the Queen before them. Her chestnut eyes though were on the Queen however as she had likely answers to Nyru's question.

Adi raised a usually good question, and of coarse the girl meant well with it, but the Queen replied "Unfortunately i haven't enough guards to waste time on her at the moment. It wouldn't seem fair to send Claudia or Nyru to the cells either. She's not to worry about" Declasia reassured the gypsy.
"Hmm" Nyru began, hearing the story of the events that unfolded before he got here. "I should probably check she's okay, but i dobt she'll want visitors at the moment. How are you feelign now?" he asked.
