"Define 'slow,'" Alex said, though his tone was, finally, light and a little playful. "I can't think of anyone I'd rather figure this s**t out with. The, uh, romantic part, mostly."

"As slow as we need. As slow as you want it to be. You know what you like and don't like." Due to their difference in height, Luka had to duck down some in order to kiss the top of Alex's head. "You need to grow, that is so much easier when I can reach."

"Sounds good to me," Alex said, reaching up and grabbing the sides of Luka's face. He pulled Luka down and lifted himself up, pressing their lips together in a proper long, warm kiss. When he pulled away, he was smirking. "I dunno, I seem to be able to reach just fine."

"You only reached cause I came down to your level. That hurts you know." Luka then some how managed to scoop Alex up with out getting caught up in the blanket. "Clearly this is the best way."

"I still reached," Alex said, moving his arms so they were around Luka's shoulders instead. He let out a quiet laugh when the other man picked him up. "Oh, yes, this is definitely ideal."

"So you need to grow another foot. You should start drinking your milk more." Luka said as he carried Alex back into his room and back into bed. It was then he heard his phone make a bliping noise from under them. Pulling it out, he almost blanched at the screen. "You're uh.. about to get a dozen or so texts... so yeeeeeaaaah."

"Why am I about to get a dozen or so texts...?" Alex asked, settling himself so he was straddling the taller man. He pulled out his phone and turned off the volume once the first alert came in, and as he read through them, his cheeks colored bright red.
"Did you..not send these...?"

"OIwish you'd sent them, every single one," Alex said, and then he put his hands on Luka's shoulders and pushed him down onto the bed, "because maybe I would've been here three days ago and we wouldn't have had to waste so much time hurting..."
