Sterre sensed so much in her beast form, the smells alone told her so much. She flicked her whiskers knowing these human's movements; simply by the changes they made to the air. No wonder her siblings liked to battle like this. She thought then grinned, blood dripped from her jaw and she looked around wanting to attack again. She spotted the female human and did a mental cheer when the lady stomped on the meanie's foot. Serves him right, she thought with a sneeze like snort. When the lady was not released, Sterre pounced; digging her claws into the man's back. "Let her go!" She said with a growl. Her kind can speak while in beast form, though her kind was more known for their foul tempers. Her rare blood might be smaller than the other beasts, but they had more control. She would not rampage; unless wounded. Then all bets were off.

Morda tumbled forward as the man let go of her and tried to get the feline creature from his back. Nearly everyone was startled to hear the sound of it actually talking! Vilto, however regained composure the quickest and snatched up Morda's fallen dagger, throwing it into the stomach of the remaining archer as the swordsman likely wouldn't be surviving the attack from such a huge cat. The man's companions were already evidence of that.

Morda scurried across the ground before regaining her feet, her eyes were wide as she had first thought the cat would be after the two of them, but now she had no idea what it was. Even the horses they had been riding were confused, stamping in place and clearly wanting to leave, but too well trained to do so. "Did...did that..." she couldn't even get the words out.

Vilto nodded, eyeing the feline warily, his dagger still in his hand, but not in any threatening manner. "Yes, I heard it."

Sterre chuffed a growl and she snorted again as the man died. She hopped down in front of the two humans she decided to befriend, and transformed as she jumped. She landed with a springy bounce on her legs and her ball of now bloody clothing sack hung loose around her neck; drooping behind her, coming out of the knot she had made. She had blood splatter all over her pink fur. "Ehheheheheheheheh. They were unwise to face the mighty Ctarl-Ctarl." She cackled, putting her hands on her hips. She then wiped the sticky blood on her face with the back of her right arm and she stood there showing all her fur as she started to groom a little. Her race did not understand the need of clothes, but they wore them to respect other cultures. Sterre seemed to forget she was "naked".

Morda's inner child, the one that had to run from home, wanted to throw a tantrum. First her uncle was dead, then her cousin, then she gets attacked, and now she's faced with the most unusual person-- thing -- she'd ever heard of... and she'd not even ever heard of such a thing before! However, her adult self was too confused to let such sporadic bahavior happen, so instead, she stood there motionless, unsure of what to do next and very worried that she was currently unarmed.

Vilto, surprisingly took the moment in stride, though a bit stiffly. Being faced with the same woman-like creature they'd seen before, but now he knew she was capable of transforming into quite the viscous creature too. He decided to be cautious. "You were the one from before, weren't you?" he asked, relaxing his posture slightly and taking a step forward. "You had... followed us?" he watched her closely to gauge just how much she might be a threat to him and his work. He's rather not have to fight her, and if he was lucky enough, he might make a profit from selling her. However, right now, ensuring his life wasn't in danger was foremost.

Sterre stood there a good while as she judged the people's reactions. Her ears lowered a little. The people really did not know of the Ctarl-Ctarls Which meant she really was alone. Her tail wrapped it's self around her leg and she lost some of her confidence. She smiled though at the man's question and she said; quite proudly, "Yup! Sterre." She looked away a moment as she scratched her face lightly. She had not wanted to show herself this early. They might be mad that she followed them. "You were the first humans that did not try attacking me when you first met me... I am hoping I could join you... Just until I find my people." She said, adding the second part hastily, trying to not sound desperate.

"Your... people?" Morda looked confused as she stared at Sterre. Slowly she gathered up her dagger from where the swordsman had pulled it out of himself before dying. She wasn't too pleased with the idea that it had jsut killed a man, but running from death all her life had at least made her able to swallow her childish feelings and get on with the situation.

Vilto sheathed his own dagger and stepped forward cautiously, "You don't even know where we are going, are you sure you want to come along? We might go in the wrong direction..." hes statement was made to sound reasonable and factual, doing his best not to make any tone that he wanted her to leave, only concern and caution. If he didn't make her feel safe coming with them, he didn't want to have to fight her to drag her along, nor did he want her jumping them at night. Whatever price her pelt would be worth, wouldn't hardly be worth his own life.

Sterre crossed her arms and she snorted; "Obviously, I come from a land with a superior race. My people, the Ctarl-Ctarl." She then looked at the man and she tried to hide her sadness, "Any direction is better than none. I don't yet know if any others made it to this planet. If I happen to run into my sister; she will gift you all with much treasure. She is a great and powerful captain." She said, trying to entice them to take her along. True, her sister would reward anyone who protected her little sister, but she feared her sister was dead. So she bragged about her great sister, and pretended her sister was looking for her. After all, if she lived; she would look for her baby sister. Soon Sterre's family would start hunting as well. Sterre had disappeared without a trace.

Morda was conflicted. On one hand, she'd gotten by jsut fine by herself before today, so having even one person with her was conspicuous, but with two -- the second being rather conspicuous on it's own -- made her worry she'd be easily noticed and caught. On the other hand, she felt that this... 'ctarl-ctarl' certainly had defended them just now, saving her life, and could easily do so in the future if -- well, really when the time arose again. Without a word she raised her brow to Vilto, curious of his opinion.

For his part, however, Vilto was still thinking of his own advantage. He already had Morda with him for when her time was up, was it worth risking one to have both when he risks losing it all? Just like Morda, though, he could see the potential protection from this ally. And if nothing else, would help him ensure Morda is safe from opportunistic hunters until his own uses can be made. Looking to her he gave a slight shrug and a nod but was clearly letting her have the say in this.

Looking back to Sterre, Morda heaved a sigh, clearly she still had doubts, "Alright, if you think you can find your family while on the move with us, it's not like either of us are capable of stopping you." Essentially this was true, as she doubted, even Vilto's ability to fight wouldn't match up either, even if Morda helped him. "Do you have any supplies with you?" she asked, only slightly wondering when the person would put her clothes back on.

Sterre grinned and bounced up and down with a happy clap of her hands, which made a soft sound due to her fur. Not only was this lady smart, knowing they were not match for the Ctarl-Ctarl... she let me come along. Yay! Sterre thought as she kept doing her happy dance. For the first time since she landed on this planet, Sterre was no longer scared. And, if these people were as nice as she thought, she would no longer be lonely.

Supplies? Hmm... There were a few things back at her life pod... but all she had was on her person. And, with the fight; she was hungry again. Her stomach proved that with a tiny growl so she stopped her little dance. "Um, claws and teeth and my clothes. Heheh That's enough." She then put her hands on her hips, showing immense confidence. She hoped that she would find someone from her sister's ship. These people seemed strong, so they would be really helpful. Would they find her sister? ... Tears filled her eyes as she thought about the day of the crash. I may never see her again. She thought once again. Please let these people be my new friends. She Shook her head, tossing away all emotions. She held out her hand as she twitched her tail, showing a wide grin she introduced herself once more. I am Sterre.

Morda seemed to stare past Sterre, as if thinking about another subject entirely, "Useful enough," she said in neutral tone, denoting approval. Turning, she checked on the horses, as if her mind cleared of the distracted thought.

Vilto looked to Morda with a raised brow before looking back to Sterre, "We'd best get out of here. The stench of blood and death will likely attract predators we don't need." He noticed Morda's head nodding as she was arranging her pack on her horse again. Vilto for his part stooped down and was checking the pockets of the bandits, curious if they had anything of value.

He was picking up a bow and quiver from one dead man when Morda noticed what he was up to, "What are you doing?"

"We could use some of their gear, and it never hurts to have something to sell later if we need the money." he tossed the bow at her and was mildly impressed by her catch. "You've used one before I take it?"

Morda nodded, "I had one for a few years before it was broken, yes." she didn't seem inclined to elaborate and Vilto noticed.

"Very well," was his neutral response before going back and pillaging the pillagers.

(How have you been? biggrin )

Sterre smiled at that and she squatted like a cat as she finished cleaning herself, while the human man was messing around with the corpses looking for loot. She perked up when the man remarked about using their gear. "Do they have food? I'm starved." she asked and her stomach grumbled an echo to her words. She was curious about the beasts they rode on so she crept over and stared at them, while watching the female human. "What are these creatures?" she asked, curious as she cocked her head to the side, mimicking the beast as it moved it's ears. She then made a face at the beast and grinned as it made a noise. Maybe they could communicate with each other after all. She may just have to learn their language. All the while, she forgot completely she was still without clothes.
