"Ha. He is a bit." He grinned, wickedly. "I'll do my best on that one. I won't even make the obvious joke about being a bit bullheaded."

Well... maybe he would a little.

It was true though. The leash was cut. Sure it was a cost, but there was no more gloved hand reaching out to snap his lead and haul him in at a whim. And that was... fantastic. He hadn't felt this... free in a while.

"It's going to take some getting used to." He admitted. "But I like it. Not wondering if someone was going to yank my collar and drag me off to the rift on a whim, I mean."

It kept popping into his head at random moments, that freedom, and now, like then, it made him feel like he could jump up and do a dance, not on the floor, but the walls and ceiling, propelled by the pure energy of being that unconstrained.

Zia was having a harder time dealing with his loss of memory than he was so far, testament to that being the cracked ID card from his old life.

Oh. Reaalllly. He hadn't realized the Rift was an unknown to the senshi, but he supposed he really shouldn't have expected them to know about it either. They probably had their own secrets, much as the Negaverse liked to think it knew all about them.

"It's... Hm." He wanted to tell her about it in detail, as it suddenly hit him how useful the information could be. "The fallen seat of the Negaverse is how I think it was described. There's a citadel down there, way the hell down, and the further you go the more youma you find and the more powerful they are. More powerful than I think any of u....of them can handle. Not just the feral ones you usually see on the prowl or bonded to captains and generals, but Greater Youma. As smart as anyone, maybe smarter, and way more dangerous. Had something to do with Tanzenite when she was still around, but for all I know she wandered off somewhere into the citadel or something. Haven't seen her around for a while. ZInkenite keeps his 'War room'" He paused to add air quotes. "Down there. Damned dangerous place for anyone, and the corrupted senshi and cats can't go down there without an escort, unless they're up for getting eaten."

He shrugged adding. "I can try and tell you more about it when you're actually back on your feet, ok?"

"I'll put a pin in it then." Kairatos noted, shifting to get up, assuming she didn't object. He knew what it felt like to push yourself to the edge of your limits and then try and keep going, and there was a point where, no matter how much you tried, you just couldn't absorb any information beyond the location of the nearest spot to sleep. "...How about we try and pick a day when you're feeling better and I can try and tell you what I know. I wasn't the most in the know, but my eyes and ears still worked."

"Heh..." He stood up slowly, tucking his hands in his pockets as he gave a brief smile. "Guess I'll let myself out then. Have a good nap, Princess Kickass."

They'd have plenty of time to catch up later, and he had other things he could do in the mean time.
