CMC pegasus "well you have seen princess luna right?...she barely looks like shes in her late teens."
he stood up wading into the rainbows with him.
"no name?....or just feeling down?....honesty is a very important attribute....one lie, fib, or just non truth will always bleed into the next...until you are drowned in falsehoods.... though I know that you might have a reason for not wanting to reveal yourself....but just know...unless you are a danger to exestria then I dont care WHO you are.....I will just enjoy speaking to a possible friend."

"Yeah, but she's still a teenager," Nopony answered. "And she's been that way for years, hasn't she? Even before she was sent to the moon. Maybe she's just short," he snickered.
"Nah, that's my name," he replied, laughing harder. "Seriously. 'Nopony." Cantering up to the pegasus, the young stallion playfully flicked a spray of rainbow liquid at his face. "Always a pleasure meeting someone new, Mod."

"...I have heard three ponies in my life call themselves nopony special and two of those were running from the law...so you can excuse my assumption."
he smile flapping his wings till he took flight floating just above the rainbow lake. wiping away all the rainbow he smiled
"...so then....this is just your fun spot?...your happy place?....Ill admit...its one of mine...though usually the spicy rainbows keep people out...or at least back from the rainbows themselves..."

"Wow, that's a lot," Nopony chuckled. "And don't worry, I get that a lot. It is a weird name, I know." Beaming as he watched the pegasus fly over the rainbows, he shrugged. "Kinda. It is pretty fun, especially since you don't have to worry about cleaning up any messes, but I like to come here to collect paint," he explained. "I like making art. Not that I really have the imagination for it, but who needs imagination to splatter paint around on a canvas?"
Going over to a more shallow bank of the river, Nopony picked up a small tin bucket among a few others lined up there. He carried the bucket to the falls and allowed a small stream of color - green - to fill it, careful not to let any others mix in. "You ever tried painting before?"

he circled going faster and faster just enjoying the look of the rainbow as it started to shift.

"Hehehe, I guess you'd have reason to, huh? That's great; you've probably done way more things than the average pony." He set down the bucket of green before going picking up another empty one from the river bank. "Not really 'painting' painting...more like throwing buckets of color around. Once in a while I'll paint or draw something, but it's never anything imaginative. I just draw what I see."
He glanced at Mod as he filled the next bucket with blue. "It's more of a hobby. My 'talent' if I had to have one, I guess, would probably have to do with up here," he said, knocking a hoof to his head. "Memories, I think. I've been able to remember pretty much everything. Not as noble as helping the Cutie Mark Crusaders, maybe, but it's something."
"Speaking of," he added, setting down his bucket of blue, "Want to come over with them some time? We can splatter paint all over the place. And maybe one of them might have a painting talent or something. In any case, I think it'd be fun."

CMC pegasus "that sounds wonderful....they would love that....all we really do in the CMC is look for things that might be someponies special talent....so really they get excited whenever they get a chance to test their talents"

"...Say, you know what? All this talk reminded me of something. I heard there's rumors going around that there's another pony somewhere in Ponyville who's an adult but doesn't have a cutie mark. What do you make of that? Did you hear anything about it?"

"I don't know. I don't think I've seen them myself," he answered. "Could be a changeling, I guess. But you said 'the' changeling - does that mean you already know one?"
He blinked at Mod. "Really? You wouldn't feel weird that your special talent isn't as special? Like...the fact that no other pony has your mark?"

CMC pegasus ((lol you already talked about a changeling XD)) "its completely possible for someone to have the same mark as me or you....anyone can have the same mark...and even the same mark with different talents....I knew a pony with the beach on his flank he was good at surfing...and another pony with the same one....though she was good at building things from sand."
he chuckled thinking through all the possibilities.

"Really?" Nopony asked, his grin faltering. "I thought they were supposed to be unique to each pony. One that they earn when they find a unique characteristic that sets them apart from others, just like a unique talent." He reached for another bucket. "Even twins don't have the same mark. Are you sure those ponies you knew had cutie marks that were exactly the same? Maybe they were slightly different."general shino ((I think he talked about changelings not having cutie marks, but he didn't talk about any specific changeling in particular.))

CMC pegasus ((reread it my bad XD)) "whether they are the same or ever so slightly different...it doesnt matter too much to me...you dont need to be special to be unique... plus there are tons of ponies who share special talents...otherwise there would only be one baker in equestria only one painter only one party thrower only one weather pony...."
he chuckled trying not to slip back into his usual teaching mode
"...what makes a pony unique is who he or she is not what. there are plenty of ponies who are like me...perhaps not exactly like me...but they have the same talents and the same ideals.... you will never see me complaining....."

"Well sure, but nopony can bake or paint or throw parties exactly like any pony else, right?" he asked. "So it's still unique to them."
"Mmhmm," he agreed with Mod, his mouth full with the handle of another bucket as he brought the pail of red back to the others. "Whew...I think that's enough paint for now," he decided. "Mind helping me carry these to the train station? They're a little heavier full than they were empty." He tried to grab one with his tail.

CMC pegasus "I have met father and son ponies who not only shared their exact same talents but they had nearly identical cutie marks as well...there really is no way you can confidentially say that no pony is like any other pony..."he stood and stretched keeping his wings limber.
