Given how increasingly suspicious Scott had become of everyone and everything in the last few months, Scott should have suspected that if Avior would attack him, it'd be from behind. In fairness, he always knew that between the two, he was the first to lash out and when he did, he was always forward about it, always telegraphing his strike and making it very clear what his intentions were. Scott always thought he offered Avior his true intentions, even if he could not disclose his identity before...

So for Avior to come sneaking in from behind, it seemed like a very 'Avior' thing to do, and Scott may have recognized the stance and knew it to be nothing more than a hug, that didn't stop Scott from thrashing about. The minute he felt someone press against his back, he was flailing his arms and kicking his feet, screaming at the top of his lungs and actually HOPING that if there were others in the area that they'd come running to investigate. "Let go of me! I want nothing to do with your stupid court, or your stupid lies, or you!"

He didn't think of how Avior was feeling, nor how cruel he himself was being to him. Perhaps Avior was right and he was selfish, but the thought never once crossed his mind. He knew that Isha loved him- he suspected it before he even openly confessed his love for him, and he knew he should have been more gentle in explaining why he could never return his love in that manner, but his anger was just too hot and all he could think to do was lash out, physically and verbally.

"I don't love you! I'll never love you! I love someone else, okay?! And that person's not you! Now let GO!"

Sorry about the delay. And the heart ache.

Gripping tighter to Scott, Avior refused to let go, even with the thrashing and flailing about.

"How could you say that I'm full of lies! What of you?! What of being my best friend! What of being part of the Negaverse, trying to kill me?! Scott, I'd give anything for you to just calm down and try to understand what is going on now!"

His grip was finally loosened when a stray elbow came crashing into the frame of his glasses, sending the unknown material into his temple in an awkward angle. Skin broke in a line that wasn't deep, but bloody, and he flinched back, his hands releasing Scott to instead come up and cover the eye that was slowly being overwhelmed by the dripping blood that was coming down from above his eyebrow to the corner of his eyes. Scott didn't mean to hurt him, no he didn't he didn't! Words continued to rattle around Avior's skull, trying so hard to convince himself that Scott WAS a kind person, he was sweet, he did care.

What else could he even say here? He KNEW that Scott couldn't love him, and that's what didn't upset him. But he wasn't going to just stay here anymore and let himself be shouted at. Just like what Scott continued to scream at him, he would let go. He would let it ALL go. His memories, his love, his very foundation as Isha was useless and dead and did not even deserve to come up again. He needed to be buried now, and never risk hurting anyone again. That naive, idiotic kid, who thought that the whole world could be changed through love and understanding was better off dead anyway, right?

Avior turned away, not even bothering to say goodbye this time. How could he? What could even be said without another angry response from the boy before him? Going to the edge of the roof, he dropped straight down, not caring if anyone saw him right now. Biting his lip to the point where blood was drawn, Avior fought a losing battle with his mind, trying to kick out any thought of returning to him, of remembering the boy he adored. His very soul was on fire, burning and being soaked in gasoline in the form the amount of self loathing that was consuming himself.

Avior would find a way to put it out; He did not give up his life just to have someone.. Someone BELITTLE him and cause him to feel like he was worthless still! Screw them all! Screw everyone, they could all just Vanish! Even if Scott didn't' want to be part of his life anymore, he would be damned before he would let that stop him from being someone new!

That would be an end post for me!

"I was happy to just be your best friend- you're the one that wanted some more!" Scott shouted fiercely, struggling with all his might, even though right now he was nothing more than a lowly, weak, even more pathetic than usual human and there was no chance in hell that he could break himself free from an Eternal. "And don't give me that! You were with the White Moon... you were my enemy! You couldn't tell me you were part of the White Moon court, no more than I could tell you I was with the Negaverse! I... I don't even think I'm suppose to tell you NOW, when you're part of a different court!"

He could get into big trouble, but he didn't care. Let them punish him! It'd be what he deserved, right? Avior wanted him to calm down, but like hell he would. Even though he wasn't powered up, he still fancied himself a wasp, and wasps, even with clipped wings, would still try to sting his enemy. Finally, he struck out and was able to free himself, wanting to rejoice in his newly owned freedom but knowing that the cost of it was too great on his conscious. He struck Avior, his friend... but would do so again in a heart beat if he tried to grab him again. He spun around to face him, preparing himself for either another attempt at stopping him or his verbal retaliation. Would he be upset with his confession? Happy for him? Call him a liar- say that no one could love Scott, not without admitting himself to be a complete fool as well? It'd seem like Isha's way... but he wasn't Isha anymore. Scott reminded himself that Isha was gone... and that Avior could not be a friend. He couldn't be a friend. He was too cold, too angry, too filled with hate to be worthy of anyone's friend.

Wasps didn't make friends. Only enemies. Would Penelope become an enemy too?

But Avior said nothing. He watched as Avior turned around and dropped from the rooftop, and Scott moved a few steps forward before forcing himself to stop. No, he had lost the right to care about his well-being, Scott told himself, and while he could not simply jump from the rooftops with ease like Avior could or like his powered self could, he made his own exit right now. He had won this argument, perhaps the only victory he'd have in his life, and yet, he felt nothing from it. It was hollow. It was empty. Like his heart...
