Mayumi felt a little more self-conscious going to the event as her plain, boring human self than she would have going in uniform, but, well, it would still be a way to meet allies. The thought that she could know some people there from her patrols but would never recognize them was sort of hard to wrap her mind around, as well. As for the game itself, Mayumi had never really been one for roleplaying games, but on the other hand this sounded more like a fun party game than that Dungeons and Dragons nerd stuff. More social.

She had dressed up a little for the night, in a cozy cowel sweater-dress and leggings, with boots and a peacoat. And, of course, the girl decked out with all her jewelry and a cute hat. If nothing else, she could make a good impression with her outfit. Mayumi recalled the location from the night she had been awakened, and so had little difficulty finding it again, trying to look confident as she approached.

"Hey," the grey-eyed girl offered to Zac and Ever, the only two she recognized, when she made it to the apartment; her charm bracelets jingled as she waved.

Makayla was all for the Werewolf Party, as she had a blast the last time. So when the rumors came to her there was to be another, she had to jump on board again. Not to mention she did meet a few people she didn't know from before. So what could it honestly hurt to play another round?

Decked on in jeans and a simple light blue off the shoulder sweater, she decided comfortable was the way to go this time. With her hair braided instead of up, she seem more at ease when she slips into the building. Giving a small wave to Ever, Zac, and Lena. She was glad to see a couple people she recognized from the last party. A soft hum slipping from her lips as she moves over to the food table to check it out before deciding to grab herself a beer.

Moving over to an empty chair, she drops down into it as she takes a long sip. Her eyes scanning over the party members. New faces, met maybe a few new friends.

This night was going to be fun.

Delilah had probably overdone it a little, getitng ready for the party, but damn it if she was going to show up she was going to show up looking her best. Her hair was pinned up in a way reminiscent of her powered form, and she was wearing a very cute cream cardigan over a pale pink dress and some nice, warm white stockings. The outfit was finished with perfectly adorable ballet flats.

This was a big deal for her, because it meant getitng out and dressing up and looking good, and she hadn't really had the energy for that type of thing since Caitlyn vanished into the night. But Laine had invited her and Ever - Ilmenite, the General who had recruited her, so she supposed she kinda owed him - was hosting. So there she was, dolled up and cute as all hell.

"Don't touch the General's chair, probably don't touch his crown, let him have his ego, gotcha," Lila said lightly, resting an arm on her white-haired companion's shoulder. She flashed a smile to the unfamiliar girl approaching her - aww, she looked cute and shy, two of Lila's favorite things in a lady.

"By my understanding, this is the place!" She held out her free hand for a shake. "Delilah Masters."

"The crown's a symbol, intended to show exactly who's in charge tonight, all ranks ignored." Ever offered it cheerfully, grinning briefly to Zac as he said it -- a joke, certainly, and hopefully one that his General-King wouldn't mind. He adjusted the crown on his head, looking back up.

"...and I have prizes, but they're not tiara's. Let's leave those for the other side."

That was a challenge. Lena knew a challenge when she heard one, narrowing eyes up at Ever while he sat with that cheesy, utterly perfect Crown O' Power atop his head. Fingers itched to snatch it off of his head which was probably why Zac chose to drape his leg over her shoulder, keeping her on the floor unless she were to dump him off. A drink was offered in consolation, another drink followed by a shudder. "I should be glad you had liquor this time but it's almost like varnish. My teenage self approves." Or it would have, if she could remember her teens.

Whoops.

"Ever, you've totally given me an idea. I'm just going to go buy beauty queen pageant tiaras in bulk and wear them on patrol. Then I can throw them at senshi and see what they do. Brilliant."

More and more people were flowing in, but Scott hardly noticed. By this time, he was on his third, maybe fourth slice of pizza, and while people passed by to grab food and drinks, he paid them little mind. So long as he had his pizza, everything would be okay.

'Perfect strategy! No one wants to talk to the guy with food in his mouth... so if I keep food in there, no one will talk to me, and I won't say something stupid!' Scott thought happily, completely unaware that he had already caught attention from the watchful eyes from across the room, and the only thing that made him look up was Ever's announcement that the crown made him king. He looked towards the one with the Burger King crown and immediately shirked away. That meant he ran the party. That meant the ones around him were likely important figure heads. Meaning that if he messed up, then they'd remember it. Forever.

He swallowed the piece he had and looked for a more quiet place to stand, hoping to keeping out of sight and out of mind until the actual party started. He was terrible around new people and even worse when he knew he was being judged! With a plate of pizza in hand, Scott inched to the completely opposite side of the table and hoped to find some decorations to blend in with. With any luck, maybe they'd forget he existed.

The crown Ever wore only added to the sense of how childish this whole thing was, making one of Ariel's eyebrows lift. Laps, huh? Well, at least it was good exercise, and she was rather intrigued to see the rift for the first time. Dipping her head, the dark haired woman offered him a saucy little salute before nodding to his companion and turning to head to the liquor table.

It seemed people were finally starting to arrive, which was good. She had to make her way around a girl in lolita ruffles and another in a cute hat. A flirtatious smile spread over Ariel's face and she gave each a nod and a warm, murmured greeting of "Ladies." before she passed.

The table got a careful scrutiny before she swept up a bottle of beer and popped the top, swaying over towards the food now to pick out some things to nibble on. Red eyes swept the room, examining the other participants with a practiced eye.

Lena had been texting her incessantly. Another 'Werewolf' game, and she had to be there. Well, alright.

While Avery had been tragically ripped apart by wolves the previous game (and had, naturally, been innocent), she knew she'd played a part in making the game any fun at all, as a portion of the group had shown up far too drunk to function and many of the rest too shy to make up for it. Still, she'd met a few people worth knowing, and it was really about networking, wasn't it? She'd definitely learned who to avoid.

Swinging home from the studio solely to pick up two bottles of malbec (rather rude to show up empty handed), Ave gave her make up (flawless) a quick touch-up and fired off a text to her ride-or-die.

-Fine. I'm on my way. Stop whining.-

Immediately upon arrival, Avery paused to flick her hazel eyes over the room, identifying those she knew and those she didn't. A few familiar faces, some even from the last game.

She flashed them a bright smile and set her wine on the drink table, casually uncorking the first bottle and pouring herself a full cup.

Truth be told and solid the only reason Lena wasn't neck-deep in a bottle of gasoline vodka was because she knew that there was going to be a very special guest that evening. Avery Hollister was not the kind of woman you leaned on when your breath smelled like it could power a small country for a week, not remotely. Ever ran a fun game, it couldn't be denied, but the likelihood of Lena not being more trouble than she was worth without Avery there to give things a non-alcoholic edge? High.

Lena had no trouble uncurling herself from under Zac's leg when the femme fatale walked in, straightening her scarf to make sure that everything was in place. It had taken quite a bit of textual harassment to coax her favorite bestie to show up. She felt the least she could do was have an outfit that didn't look like it had been vomited out of a toddler's dress-up chest.

Careful to not jostle the cup of wine, she hooked an arm through one of Ms. Hollister's. "Councilwoman, you look divine as always." Her arm squeezed in light pressure. "And I so wasn't whining."

Arm touched, Avery's brow arched dangerously before she was able to register a familiar voice. A smooth, "Oh, why, thank you, Miss Adler," slipped from her lips and she flicked a critical glance over Lena's outfit.

No clashing colors? Attractive and appropriate? Sure, the jeans were a little ragged, but apparently that was the style. Avery, of course, wore a dress and some type of heel, no matter the season.

"Whose closet did you crawl out of?" Her tone was tinged with approval, and she reached out for a second red cup, filling it with wine and passing it to her friend as a reward. Expensive wine out of plastic cups? Oh, yes. It was going to be That Kind Of Night.

"Anyone interesting, yet?"

Mackenzie looked up at where Ever was sitting, waterbottle pressed to her lips, and she caught the grin that the blue-haired man was trying to hide that was sitting next to him. She stared for a long moment as who he was registered in her head- Ever had told her he was a solid 6 on the Kinsey Scale, which meant... Oh god. Yeah, he was probably Ever's boyfriend. And he probably knew all about her attempt at flirting at the club before she was inducted into the Negaverse herself. Her cheeks flushed a shade a deep pink that nearly matched the color of her hair and she immediately looked away from the group. Yep, just stare at the floor and mind your own business, Kenzie she thought to herself as she took a sip of water.

Keeping her gaze as far away from Ever & co. as she possibly could, she watched as new-comers entered the room- one of which being Avery Hollister- like, Counsilwoman Avery Hollister. She was in the Negaverse too? Holy s**t.

Once she finished munching on some appetizers, she pulled the long hair that only existed on one side of ehr head over one shoulder, playing with the ends of it absently while she waited for the game to begin.

Merric really needed to, oh I don't know, participate in things. The tall young man hung near Nina, hands in his pockets, and felt incredibly awkward. Clearly everyone here was part of the Negaverse but besides Nina he new absolutely no one outside of the uniform.

A little pathetic for... two, three years in service now?

So here he was, completely ready for socializing and meeting the rest of the people in the Negaverse.

Yeah...

Totally.

"...Nina... Help I have no idea what I'm doing..." he whined into her shoulder, looking rather pathetic.

Zac stood up with a small mutter about getting food, after all why not? He wasn’t sure who’d brought the pizza that was being consumed in a … python like manner but he wasn’t going to ask either. He’d had enough of the rather –terrible- pizza provided last time. He had other goals in mind after all.

He made his way discretely; drink in hand to stand just out of ‘elbow’ range before he spoke to her. Vivid pink eyes, and deep pink hair reminded him of Vivianite to a degree, though he knew it wasn’t her.

“Well… I can commend you on your taste.” He said quietly with a subtle grin.

Mackenzie wanted to die.

Right then and there, just end it all. Because this was pretty much the most horrifying experience in the history of ever. While she was typically an incredibly confident girl, she was mortified to know that this blue haired fellow knew of her failed attempt with Ever. Not only did he know about it, he was legit talking to her about it. Right now. In front of everyone. In front of people that she didn't know, and were likely higher ranked than her.

Oh god, what if he was a higher rank than her!? She fidgeted awkwardly on the pillow she sat on, her hot pink eyes darting up to meet his. "Sir... I uhm, I apologize?" It shouldn't have been a question. It should've been a statement. "I wasn't actually interested. I just wanted in and thought that would work."

Wait. Was she now telling him his significant other was ugly? "I mean he's not my type." She should probably just stop talking. "Sorry." Mackenzie finally ended her blabbing and stared up at him.

Be confident. Stop being ******** weird.

Pushing herself to her feet, she brushed off her hands on her sweatpants and held a hand out to him. "Mackenzie Taylor, Lieutenant Vanadinite." She figured if there was any place that she could announce her 'other' name out loud while as a civilian, it was in this room. After-all, she heard that a General King owned this building.

“Breathe” He assured her “Unless you start calling me a ‘little blue troll’ I won’t be recommending to him that you should be running laps.”

Apparently there was a story there behind the odd nickname that clearly had something to do with his build and hair.

“Zac, or you can do as he does and call me Zed when we’re in civis.” He swapped the hand he held his drink in so that he could give her a proper hand shake, firm but not overdone, no apparent need to prove his testosterone level via grip, but not like grasping a dead fish either.

“I admit I knew both though. I’m… in information.” There was something of a glitter in his eyes. “Do you want something stronger than water while I’m up?”
