Ruby
It became clear the Jewels were an non-comprehensible force in the hands of their enemies. Claudia though the Black Jewel was safe and sound in that chest bequeathed to Charles, but just like Nyru, they were told otherwise. The Guildeam was prepared knowing the wits of Lucifical and had no choice to believe the Thespians. They they confiscated the Jewel and locked it away thinking no one, not even the Lord of Betrayal himself could reach it. The Crimson Jewel was left in the same mind set and now both are missing. The place they were held in is completely destroyed according to Lucas's scroll. It was the thieves every intention to erase all trays of evidence and even if the Guildeam discovers whom they are its fall to late to capture them. Alexis was more shocked and remember that whomever had the Crimson Jewel would release En' raidal. A demi-god an a Lord, plus armies upon armies. She hated to admit it, but they were beyond screwed.
Ruby put a hand on Alexis's arm to calm her down and listened to Adi say how there was no time to discuss this. She was right and besides, standing around in the open was far from a good idea. "I say we follow Adi's advice and discuss it along the way. Although, I'm pretty sure we all have an idea of who the culprit is. Regardless, this mission cannot fail or all of Magic Earth will be lost." Ruby held her head high and began walking the path again hoping to hear the others follow.

I’m a princess cut from marble, smoother than a storm. And the scars that mark my body, they’re silver and gold, My blood is a flood of emeralds, precious stones, It keeps my veins hot, the fire's found a home in me. I move through town, I’m quiet like a fight, And my necklace is of rope, I tie it and untie.
Adi was right, her burst of hope and vigour was something they all needed right now. Laxion nodded with her notion, they ought to continue and stop at nothing, that was all they could do for the good of the world. Ruby agreed too, and even made a suggestion to presume who the culprit was, and in that moment Alexis took a hard and solid stare at Dorian. She knew nothing for certain, but she was presuming, from experience with his master, and Dorian himself a year ago, that he could damned well be involved. Ruby explained how they couldn't fail this, and Alexis said "No, it cannot fail" with a sharp tone before looking away from Dorian, her distaste venomous to the touch if it could be, sharp like broken glass. She shortly followed Ruby in her direction. Lucas said "We must remain vigilant" "And don't let your mind stray, think about something or someone you love..." Lysandiel added before turning and following them, he then muttered "lies are easily spread..."
As they journeyed on, Laxion was thinking hard about lies, he had heard the angel mutter that under his breath, if he had breath at all. Nyru was in front of him, he couldn't stop admiring him and accepting that he was with him again, but something was grating at the back of his skull. Do we see enough of each other? he thought, does he know how much he means to me?... Does he... feel the same? Laxion then looked to Claudia, who had always been close with Nyru. In fact, why weren't they together? Laxion suddenly stopped when he found himself woking into Nyru in front of him. He had stopped to speak to him, "are you okay?" he asked, eyes staring into Laxion's. He nodded and replied "I'm fine" "are you sure? You looked like you're thinking about something" "just about what's ahead-"
There was a sudden roar coming from behind the trees nearby. Then there were gun shots followed by roughing in the trees. Lysandiel put his arm behind him, telling them all to be careful, something may be coming. Lucas pulled his blade from its sheaf, the blade itself completely invisible in the darkness. From the trees came two figures that were leaping backwards and landing on the grass nearby. They landed and slightly skidded across the dirt before coming to a stop. One was of a young girl with a red hood, white corset and skirt with guns in both hands. She was breathing heavily was staring at the location they came from. The other was that of a tall slender man, he had long blonde hair, he wore white trousers and a black long sleeved shirt. Over his shoulders were draped a diamond-like checkared blue and black blazer that he cared not to wear properly. In his hand was a rifle, it was heavily decorated wiith gold and silver and at the handle it was curved as if it should be used for a cane. Then demons emerged from the trees, only a few however. They dashed from the trees and came jumping down towards teh new couple, but the young girl released a flurry of bullets that decimated two of the demons, and the third was shredded by the males rifle in a flash of dull blue light. "That's the last you deserve for ruining y favourite jacket store!" the man commented, looking down at the corpse beneath him as he spun the rifle round and began to lean on it like a cane. That was when Cardy, the young girl looked around and made eye contact with the other group. With wide eyes she said "Terence!". The male then turned and cocked a brow, "Well, how nice to see some fellow defenders, the name is Terence, we're just passing through, got some demons to clear out at Nokori Valley. Specifically an ugly one that flew here from Club Alure, or what's left of the poor place" he said, sulking almost with a short bow. The young girl put her guns away, then put her hands on her hips as she said "Cardy Belfrings, don't mind his useless additional information, he's a bit pissed after the demons attacked New Coventry", to which he sighed and said "Half the night clubs and half the clothing stores are destroyed!". Cardy sighed, but then took a good look at the group before her.
This is the start of how it all ends They used to shout my name, now they whisper it I’m speeding up and this is the red, orange, yellow flicker beat sparking up my heart

Ruby and the others seemed to agree with the gyspy's ideas and concerns of their present safety risks. The Jewels could be considered later right then they needed to worry about the demons around them. To which Adi was quiet glad to be moving forward as she was sure the rest of them were. But the glare and critical stare that Alexis gave Dorian was not lost on Adi. Neither was it dismissed by Dorian who gave the once dead woman a even side ways stare with a raised brow. His cool black gazing seeming to dare her to say something that would put them all in danger.
Lysandiel spoke then whatever disagreement was about to happen was pushed aside as they pushed forward. His words warning and encouraging, but the last bit, Adi was able to catch only because of heightened hearing that Zuriel gave her. Lies...deadly weapons in a time of unrest; something that even she originally a gypsy civilian very well knew.
Silent as they walked forward quietly as they could, it didn't feel long before they were already being confronted by something, that something however was not a demon. Rather a pair of people fighting the demons with firearms; a young woman and a man making short order of the evil creatures. Course as soon as that commotion had started, Adi's edgy instincts struck up, hands at the rest to smit any demons with light should they appear.
Dorian though having knew that very well would have happened, gripped the gypsy's shoulder with a firm and heavy hand. His dark stare even and warning. "What did I just say back at the tunnel..." came his warning drool.
Sighing, Adi let the golden light that was just ready to jump to her fingertips calm and recede. "That if I use that power the demons will be upon us like a horde...or something of that nature. Its instinct at this point to use it in such a way."
"I'm aware, which is a habit you'll have to bring you of. It should be natural to call upon the power that will most benefit you in the moment without really thinking about it."
With a nod of acknowledgement, the gypsy turned to the pair their group had just come upon. "We are headed in the general direction you came from, by chance is the way cleared?" she spoke up asking a very important question; this pair may have just unknowingly cleared the path for them.

Ruby
Alexis kept presenting Dorian with spiteful glances when Ruby mentioned possible culprits. Nevertheless, her inspiring words and Adi's advise kept the group moving in the right direction. As they started traveling, little things started to eat away at the fellowship. Lysandiel told to focus on the people they love in order to keep the lies at bay. However, even the closest of families still had their doubts about each other and debate over their intentions. For instance, Claudia couldn't help, but feel like Alexis was lying to her about Ruby's departure so she could have her to herself. Then again, why would Alexis lie about something that controversial. Another thing, Adi and Dorian were getting kind of chummy but still acting like they hated each other to keep up appearances. Ruby was finding like ticks here and there with everyone, but nothing that could cause her to break out in a furious rage. At some point, Laxion stopped and confronted Nyru only to hide his true feelings of this whole situation. Ruby would have interfered, but they have more important conflicts to partake in.
A rumbling sound, rattling of trees, and bullets echoed through the shrubbery coming towards the group at light speed. Lysandiel blocked them with his arms and Lucas unsheathed his invisible blade. Ruby's hands hoovered over her pistols as two silhouetted figures jumped out of the tree and slid onto the ground. When they landed, a girl with a Red Ridding Hood attire held two guns firmly in her hands. She was accompanied by a tall stranger in a baggy wardrobe. His coat draped over his shoulder like a cape and his rifle was so intricately refined. A mass of demons pursued them, although they were no threat to the young girl that was looked around Ruby's age. Claudia noticed had Ruby folded her arms in an irritated manor, judging the stylish female. Ruby hated to admit it, but the girl looked like she could surpass her own skills which made her jealous. The blonde male wasn't to shabby either considering that he shredded a demon apart with one dazzling blue bullet. The man happened to get revenge for his wrecked clothing store before leaning on his rifle like a cane. In the back of the group, Adi tried to summon some of her magic and Dorian warned her of the dangers. Regrettably, he was right and she was forced to step down.
The girl, Cardy, spotted them in the darkness and called her comrade to alert him of their presence. Terence wasn't shy in the slightest while introducing himself and informing them of Coventry's state. They lead the demons out of Nokori Valley but not everything was spared in the process according to Terence. Cardy was in despair as well over the materialistic objects and Ruby couldn't help but roll her eyes. Were all the citizens of Coventry this concerned about the items they owned instead of protecting people and their nation!? Well if the lead the demons away, she guess they had some good intuitions about them.

Terrence brushed a hand through his hair, it flopped effortlessly back into place yet looked somewhat attractive the way it caressed his cheeks. He replied saying "We can't promise they'll swarm back, but it should be quiet for some time before they regroup". Thats good, Lysandiel thought, who was getting an eye-full from Cardy, she was weary of the fact he had no face. Breaking her stare, she said "You're the group heading north, aren't you?", and Nyru nodded eagerly. Alexis replied "We're going to purify Lucifial's taint." "good luck" Terrence retorted, "that blasted Demon has the entire monastery under control. If it's not filled with demons it's filled with corrupted Unbound. A shame, really". There was a ruffle comign from the bushes in the other direction, and Terrence looked over, just saying "Cardy, if you will". She grinned a devilish smile, and brought up a single gun from her waist, a silent, green bullet shot from her gun and impacted the bush. the rustling went silent for a moment before it started up again, but this time with the quiet rumble of... fire? "We'll distract them as you head to the monastery" Terrence announced, picking up his rifle and heading towards the bushes, Cardy began to run, but then said "Oh by the way! Be careful of faceless people... one tried to kill me once". With that she was off, dashing into the bushes as another fiht commenced.
Lysandiel looked at them all, worried. "ignore her" Alexis ordered, "she's a little girl making enemies, what do you expect. It could have be the Circle for all we know...". With that stubborn thought she began to stride in the direction Terrence and Cardy originally came from. "we move onwards" Lysandiel then added, followed by Lucas' comment of "we should arrive at the monastery soon"

The new set of strangers firing away with their firearms was certainly a surprise, but a pleasant one. As Terrance announced that they had cleared the way and with some luck the demons shouldn't swarm back into their path. But it was proof that time was presence and none the less short with their little group. Dorian glanced to Adi and cursed his luck; he would have to do what he could in the mean time...teach her what he could and hope it would stick and be enough. She was already a loose canon with the angel inside of her, add the darkness to the mix that was un-tethered and wild...they did not need her going off like an atomic bomb in the middle of battle. "Do enjoy yourselves," Dorian commented before the pair of them left again to scatter and distract what demons remained in the area. Their noise and fighting would draw the demons as long as they were quick and silent they may just make it relatively unnoticed and unharmed. Adi nodded as they started off again into the darkness of the trees, the sounds of the demons above and around an eerie backdrop of noise. A glance to the dark and pale figure in the darkness that was Dorian; his clothing making him near impossible to see with human eyes. His eyes were on her though and a serious look in his goal black gaze. Adi knew now was the time...as good as any so she nodded to him and hug back a little as the continued to move forward. Dorian stepping to her side, began to speak in hushed tones guiding and teaching the use of the dark powers that Adi possessed. Both mentally crossing their fingers that the crash course was going to be enough. Ruby
Terrence was rather passive about the whole situation and acted like they weren't going to succeed. Flipping his long locks flawlessly, he told them that there is a possibility they could flood back into the area but not for sometime. Cardy intently gazed at Lysandiel for some reason and asked if they were heading North. Alexis confirmed that they were and even threw in the bit about purifying Lucifial. Again, Terrence was doubtful and mention how the monastery is full of demons or dark Unbound. Little sympathy was shown in light of the information, but at the moment the two had something greater to deal with. Within the bushes came more wrestling and Terrence politely insisted that Cardy silence it. Firing off a green bullet in that direction, the wrestling ceased and a forest fire started. The two agree to keep the stray demons at bay while they pass through. Making haste into the shrubbery, Cardy stayed behind only for a second to warn that about people with no faces. She accused a faceless being of trying to kill her and then bid them farewell as she followed her partner.
Apparently, Lysandiel and Alexis found her statement childish and told the rest to ignore her. She's just a child striving for attention and mostly likely she was talking about the Circle. Lysandiel urged them to move forward while all of them seemed to forget about the encounter immediately. All expect for Ruby. Cardy and her were on the same level of trust in others and because of their age anything they say is considered childish. A figment of their imagination! Ruby wanted to believe the angels were just fighting their own battles, but she couldn't get past the fact of how they thought humans are scum. Maybe, Lysandiel had been lying this whole time and wants to lead them to their deaths in the hopes that all humanity will be whipped out. Their just a blemish on Magic Earth, right? The more Ruby inserted this thought into her mind the more unstable she became. Squeezing her way past members of the group, she ended up behind Lysandiel letting her hatred for him fuel. Discreetly, her hand glided towards her guns that were already loaded and ready to fire.

When the two left, no one else really had anything to say as they made their way from this clearing and back into the brush. It wasn't a nice trek, Alexis could have thought about better environments to be going through, yet the endless days of rain and gales have led most comfortable terrain to become marshy, if not that, then swampy. Nyru's boots kept sinking into mud with each step, sometimes it was muddy enough to hold him back, as if it were teh spirits of the dead pulling him away from going north. Laxion was still thinking about Nyru and Claudia's relationship and it was slowly starting to affect his mind more and more, making him just want to stomp off ahead without the others and just go into that damned monastery by himself and face the demon all alone! He took a deep breath... that was a strange outburst, he thought. shaking the thoughts away he tried to focus. Lysandiel was busy worrying about that Cardy girl they met earlier. She said that someone with no face had tried to kill her once, he hated to think it was an angel. Maybe weeks ago he would have thought it could have been Zuriel gone rogue, he was gone for so long, anything could have happened to him. It would not be the first time an angel had turned their back against it's brethren, that was how the Divine were born after all! Foolish men born from foolish and greedy angels. It had to be something to do with Lucifial, surely. But the way she said it, it worried him mysteriously, if it was a threat from Lucifial, she would have been less ambiguous about it. Lucas meanwhile was contemplating how old the young girl was, and why she was hanging around with an Elite from New Coventry. He had heard of Terrence before, one of the best-known hosts for house parties in NC, well, more like mansion parties. The Cardy girl he had never heard off, she she couldn't have been knighted by the Guildeam. Most mysterious, so young... yet so well-trained. He then turned to Ruby, perhaps she had a similar upbringing-
"Ruby?" He asked, reaching over and putting a hand over hers, "what are you doing?!" he tried to ask quietly. Nyru saw the monastery just over the tops of the trees, by now the trees were thin, and the ground was layered with snow and barren rock-hard ground. But that was when the commotion began and he stopped to look at Lucas, shortly followed by the gaze of Lysandiel's hood that first stared at Adi and Dorian. But much to his surprise the frustrated whispering came from Lucas and Ruby, "What is the matter?" his harmonic voice asked, hood tilting in confusion. "Is there a threat?" Lucas then asked.

The trudge become increasingly more irritating and difficult; through swampy marsh and mud, thick underbrush all the while dampness sticking to the air that dampened the clothes on their back. Adi herself continued to feel her boots and heels sink into the mud; them being laced up to her knee and tightly the only reason that she hadn't abandoned them in the muck. Her once clean and colorful dress was not all the shade of mud and earthy matter half decayed. Its loud slapping sounds against her chill legs horrendously loud to her ears. But the gypsy managed for the most part even with a few curse words in her native tongue filling the air.
Dorian had no such issues, as he was happily walking along the sodden earth and muck without no sign of much or sinking. It was only after cursing him that he taught Adi the small magic trick to walk on any surface; solid and those less so. A principle that was useful and could be used for many things he said.
She gave a nod of thanks for the trick and he nodded in reply as he watched the others before them. Lysandiel had his hooded head turned towards them, Dorian only smirked and gave a small tilt of his head curiously staring back unmoved. Adi bumped into his shoulder as he stopped short of the rest of the group.
"Why'd we stop?" she asked course looking up the young woman found her answer and Adi felt the angel's eyes the and stared back unblinking. "Oh..." she breathed staring up at the building. From first appearances everything seemed to be okay here. "...looks can be deceiving..." Adi murmured thinking aloud.
"Too right you are gypsy..." droned Dorian clearly amused with something that he was not sharing with the rest of the group.

Ruby
The muddy marsh started to get to Claudia and she felt disgusted with each step. She thought she would be use to long treks by now through unbearable wastelands, but this was beyond her expectations. The mud was even seeping into her shoes and she wanted to gag at its squishy texture. Although, she bit her tongue in order to keep their position a secret. Occasionally, she would look over at the others and find Laxion staring at her inquisitively. Actually, it was really starting to piss her off but she refused to fight with him for Nyru's sake. She turned away and saw her sister moving ahead and wondered why she was in such a rush. She really didn't want to end it all did she? Lucas soon followed and an augment of hushed whispers brought the team to a halt. Everyone almost bumped into one another and Adi even asked what the commotion was. True that Coventry was just over the horizon letting everyone see it, but that wasn't the issue.
Lucas clapped his hand over Ruby's and asked what she was doing. Ruby stopped and stared at Lysandiel before roughly pulling away from Lucas's grip with a dark fire glowing in her eyes. The snowed over ground and the infected monastery stood a distance away from her, yet escaped her completely since she was so focused on Lysandiel. He glanced over his shoulder to see whom was causing the commotion and probably was surprised to see that it wasn't Adi and Dorian this time. The faceless man asked if something was the matter and Ruby glared at him intensely. "As a matter of fact there is. Why would Cardy say something like that? It couldn't be just to make enemies like you say. It can't be childish notions. So what are you hiding, Angel? You've been leading us on from the beginning haven't you? Do you think humans are so impure that we must all die! You're mistaken because I'll kill you before you kill us!" her voice raised towards the last two sentences and she aimed her gun at him ready to squeeze the trigger.

Back at the Temple of Dreams, Adi did he best to stay out of sight however one man was there to find her collecting her things. From the corner of the room the Oracle said "I barely recognized you, Rur'Adika." walking out from the shadows, he was largely unscathed except for some bruises and a few cuts across his arms. He looked around at the windows and said "I must thank you for what you have done - changes are already apparent... though... where are the others?" he asked then, noticing she was alone. He also had more questions, questions concerning the flames yet he did not ponder those yet - he would also ask how she traveled so fast, but he could make a good judgement about that.
- - - - - -
Making it so the temple it a very short time, Adi herself wasn't exactly sure what she was going to do once there, aside from grabbing her things. Regardless though she stables her new steed in the still standing stables, while she entered the building that had seen better days. There was going to be some rebuilding needed, but overall it stood and nothing looked to be rubble.
Finding her things where she left them, so intent on her task, Adi didn't hear the Oracle till he was there and speaking. Stiffening and hand clenched ready to summon a weapon, she settled as the strange man separated himself from the shadows of his home. At his words, the gypsy looked down at herself and noted that she still wore her battle armor; the hood having fallen back during the ride, but she still looked nothing like herself. She didn't even looked like a gypsy anymore, and that realization saddened her.
"I don't exactly feel like myself anymore..." she breathed out truthfully, the young woman already knew that lying to using veiled words would do her no good against the Oracle; his eyes saw far to much when she looked into them. "You need not thank me...I was merely doing my part."
As for the others, Adi looked to the large open doors that led to a balcony that looked over one of many courtyards. Her dark honey eyes staring into the distance, as if she was attempting to see those she left behind, but even Zuriel's vision was not that perfect. Anger and sadness battled in her heart and it was just as exhausting as it was before. Sighing and dropping her head, Adi praised her face in her hand. She was tired....so tired desperate to get away, but she had no where to go.
"I left them...ran like a coward," she hissed out ashamed of her choice, but neither could Adi bring herself to regret it. "The battle was done, they didn't need me any more so I took my leave."
Not exact truth, as Rur'Adika left out the situation with the angels, but that was not something the Oracle needed to be burdened with.

 The Oracle "I see all..."
Her tone was less than that of what a young woman should be. He could see past her words and felt that she was not alright, but he would not press matters that do not concern him. Instead she went ahead and begged him not to thank her, that it was her job. The Oracle steadily walked closer, going past some columns and waving her hands through some smoke let off from lit incense he'd already placed around the room earlier - he was quick to try and return calm to the Temple of Dreams. But for some time he imagined the people of this world may experience nightmares. She said she felt like a coward, and she was ashamed, he could see that in her body language and feel it through her voice. He nodded like he understood and stood between Adi and that wide open doorway looking out to the golden horizon.
"Have you stopped to think what they may be thinking now?" the Oracle asked smoothly, his hands placed together at his waist as he stared out over the mountains. He only paused for some moments before going on a slightly different route, he said "You know sometimes you have to fall from the top, through the clouds and the darkness of the storm and hit the ground - shatter completely. It is exactly that fear, that memory... that keeps us standing up" he then turned and faced her with a calming gaze.
"... But not if you lock the doors"

The sun has set, I close my eyes I pretend everything's alright...Drowning in anger I can't pretend everything's alright...Please don't let me fall forever... There's a hate inside of me like some kind of master! I try to save you but I can't find the answer I'm holding onto you, I'll never let go I need you with me as I enter the shadows

Just watching him, though his expression changed little, she was able to see the acknowledgment, and the understanding to a point in this dark wise gaze. It was unsettling how he noticed so much without saying anything or just a little. That fact both troubled her as well as made things easier...should couldn't have hid things if she had tried, plus Adi was far to tired to try. Watching him as he walked closer, remaining quiet as she was, the sounds of the temple could be heard; the repairs and care for the wounded only slightly heard. As the Oracle stood at the open doors of the large balcony staring out, her armored feet followed to stand a few feet behind him staring out as well.
His question made her think and Adi stared at the tile floor as her brows furrowed in thought; she hadn't because that alone added to her troubled thoughts. Her thoughts had been dominated by the angels and that conflict that her companions has no part in. The Orcale wise words filling her with more thought that made her already aching head throb more.
"...perhaps I'm still falling then," she breathed out. "Its so painful and hard to stand with a pained heart, a promise broken and a target on your soul put there by angels...all the while unable to run from the thing I want to the most...I can't seem to get my feet under me," Adi couldn't run from Zuriel, he was there, just very quiet and withdrawn, buried underneath the dark power she used as a barrier between them.
Rur'Adika felt like just breaking down into tears everything was getting to be too much. Pressing the heels of her hands into her dark tired eyes, the gypsy heaved a sigh before dropping her hands again. "I don't know what they are thinking...at this point its irrelevant." Stepping forward so she was even with the Oracle and very strange man that looked over the Temple of Dreams, she never looked at him while she asked. "Have you room for one trouble soul?"
She wanted to run, but she had no where to go, no where to hide...and she knew she was at her limit. Adi wouldn't have been able to get much further without falling off her new companion and she needed her wounds looked at, and sleep most desperately...if she could sleep at all that is.
"I promise I won't be a bother..."

Nobody hears me, as I suffer the silence I'm holding onto you...I'm holding onto you There's a hate inside of me like some kind of master! I try to save you but I can't find the answer I'm holding onto you, I'll never let go I need with you with me as I enter the shadows
