Instead of going to the forehead, the elbow went straight to the apron.
"FU--"
Okay, now this is going to leave a bruise. She started shaking her arm and try not to laugh at the asme time. Damn funnybone!

Using the time he'd bought himself by getting out of the way, Brody got himself back to his feet. He backed himself away from Christina's side of the ring, deciding to give her all the space and time she needed climb back in.

Out of frustration, Christina went by the steps and kicked them, just to let some rage go. Otherwise, she would have just charged into the ring without a plan. After a few seconds, she climbed the steps ans went back inside the ring. She stared at Brody and then went back for another side headlock.

Having been waiting for an attack since Christina re-entered, Brody didn't wait around for another headlock, instead circling around Christina to avoid the grapple. In addition, he finally decided to go on the offensive, trying to use the whiffed grapple as an opening for a straight punch to Christina's side.

As soon as Christina was close enough, she went for the head but ... Wait, where is he? She only had the time to look on the side to see Brody's punch coming right to her side, fist closed, straight to the side of her body. With the impact, she stepped to the side, and grabbed the ropes, trying not to fall down with the pain.
Her kidney will never forgive Brody.

Brody's face immediately soured as he saw Christina's reaction to his strike. He didn't like that he'd have to go through a woman to continue in the tournament, but he was sick of being stuck on the bottom rung of the industry. He'd hate himself after everything was over.
Taking a few quick steps back to get some extra distance, Brody ran forward and stretched out his arm, hoping to catch Christina unaware with a clothesline.

Christina turned back, leaning against the ropes, only to be sent outside with Brody's clothesline. She flipped on the top rope and ended her course at ring side, falling on her butt. Letting her in only to send her out again, how cool is that (NOT!)

The irony of Christina end up on the outside wasn't lost on Brody, and he briefly looked around with a nervous look on his face. He hadn't intended on sending her outside to ringside, but things rarely went as he'd planned them. Dropping himself to the mat, Brody rolled himself under the ropes to the outside and made his way to Christina so he could pull her back to her feet.

Christina got on her knees and hands, trying to grab the ring skirt and get back on her feet. But then, she saw Brody coming to her. Not wanting to be helped back on her feet by a man, she tried to get a few more seconds, crawling away from Brody and sitting on the concrete floor.
"Wow! Timeout!"

Brody stopped in his tracks as soon as Christina started backing off, an action that didn't seem motivated by fear, at least where he was standing. But hey, if she wanted to be difficult about it, he wasn't going to stop her. With a joking grin on his face, he put his right hand on his chest and bowed towards Christina.
"As you wish, mi'lady."

She took her time getting back to her feet, and at the same time, she wanted to be as sneaky as she could to reach for something under the ring. Just grabbing a kendo stick and make it slide out for later. And then, she went back to her feet and went back into the ring.
