How dare they all ignore me! One day......one day... "Might as well go see what Zoro is up to," she says to herself as she heads towards her horse that her parents gave her. Melody Dale The captain disrupted the pointless argument, but there was no need since Melody retreated afterwards. She didn't even make it near the door frame when Musei unwisely spoke. Instead of a heart-to-heart chat, he intentionally embarrassed her in front of their comrades. Melody Dale doesn't receive commands, she issues brusquely. His definition of fraternize made her laugh because the male barely knew what went on in the relationship between Henry and her. However, she was sure he could use his imagination to create an illustration of their time together. According to him, guards were going to be assigned without her notification which formed an unbearable knot in the pit of her stomach. Never being able to see the King would make her life miserable.
Cleaning duties for twice a week in a mouth was over exaggerating her insignificant mistake. At the moment, her expression was begging him to toss her over the side of the forty-five foot tall wall. Never feeling Henry's soft touch was antagonizing enough, but Musei wanted to make her suffer further. What else did he want for her besides respect? She would happily throw herself at his feet if it changed the current position bestowed upon her. Yet he continued, and probably hoped that the titans would get rid her of him giving him the relief he deserves. Generous man her a**, although her ranking among the military police was important. If she was placed in the Scouting Legion, she could defiantly kiss the Prince goodbye forever. Her goal remained the same no matter what obstacles got in her way.
She will diligently follow the punishment and orders she was so generously given. It was only for a month and on her spare time, if she awarded any, Melody could sneak off to see Henry. Once the captain left, without hesitation she humbly obliged his request. The supplies closet is at the end of the corridor so she figured she would start with the windows, and of course work her way from there. She hated to admit it, but she now feared Musei's authority. He had found her weakness and used it to his advantage like the sick tyrant he is.

Victoria had crossed her arms behind her back and kept silent as the Captain gave Melody her punishment 'I feel like it's a good thing I saluted him, Melody got it bad...' she thought to herself as the Captain, the Lieutenant, and the new girl she didn't know left, which left just Melody and herself. However what surprised her most was that Melody took the punishment silently and once he was gone she immediately began cleaning the area. Victoria then folded her arms and smirked in Melody's direction "So you finally realize that it's better to not b***h over every little thing and to just do as your told? Good girl, I'm so proud of you!" she said in a patronizing voice as she gave a slow clapping. Victoria found it so amusing that Melody was eight years older then herself, yet Melody acted like Victoria did when she was seven years old.

Melody Dale It was only a matter of time and immaturity that someone, Victoria of all people, had to antagonize her. She knew the dark haired female enjoyed watching her getting knocked off her pedestal and thrown into the lowest pits of Hell. Grabbing a semi-rusted metal bucket and a few rags from the supply closet, she went to the nearest wash room. Mindlessly she filled the bucket with water adding soap, and she cleaned the windows diligently. Melody bit her lip trying to hard to behave instead of continue the petty argument.
The silver haired female didn't want an elongated punishment because then she would never be able to visit the Prince's sanctuary again. Laying next to him, feeling his masculine body against hers, smelling his wine and candy scented breathe was relieving her tormented soul in a way. Melody imaged herself as a prisoner that was forced to serve an evil dictator until Prince Henry came to rescue her. Wiping the gathered dust way from the window in a circle motion, she hummed to herself lightly ignoring any further insults that may come from Victoria.

Victoria was still smirking, even as Melody ignored her. This was just simply too funny, Melody was trying her hardest to be a good girl and to not get a worse punishment. Finally Victoria began to walk down the hall that she had originally arrived from "Oh Melody dear don't forget to clean the ashes on the floor, the Captain can be so rude sometimes Hahahahaha.." she called over her shoulder before giving a loud laugh as she disappeared around the corner and soon left the headquarters since there was clearly nothing to do but the dismal job of cleaning.(EXIT)

ℳusei Come to me when you need a real hero. ╔═════════════════════════╗ Musei chuckled lightly, hearing the Lieutenant comment about revealing the guarding of the royalty. Giving a slight shrug of his shoulders, he turned to look at the woman. He began studying her image, one that he would keep in his mind permanently, in order to make sure he always knew who she was. His memory of people wasn't the best, and as a result, had to put in a lot of effort to figure out names to a face, so whenever he could, he studied the various features of people he met.
"Well, there is nothing we can do about it now, is there." he pointed out to the woman, turning his attention back to the hallway ahead of him. "So, did you ever think you would make it this far?" the man asked, curious as to what her answer was. She came to the Military Police for a reason, and from what he knew of Amelia, she wasn't the typical kind of person that would be found working alongside others in the Military Police. She must have had some kind of reasoning for being here, but what exactly was beyond Musei's interest level at the current point in time. He'd find out eventually, or he'd get her to tell him sometime down the road.

ℳusei Come to me when you need a real hero. ╔═════════════════════════╗ The man listened to her, before shrugging his shoulders in a lazy response. "As you said, I suppose I had a better chance than most others." he repeated what she had said, looking back at her as he pulled out the pack of cigarettes he had, taking one from the pack. "When my parents were killed, I gave up on a lot of things. I suppose you could say having control of the lives of others was to deal with the loss of my family? People say I'm corrupt, that I'm a selfish a*****e, but when it comes down to it, I'll give my body to the King should he need it, just as I expect everyone else to do here, regardless of the slack they give." he chuckled lightly, pulling out the lighter and flicking it open, lighting his smoke.
"To give you a real answer, I never imagined it until I got here, then I understood exactly why I got this spot." he finalized, taking a long drag from the cigarette. Stopping himself from walking any further, he looked at his Lieutenant. "So then, you feel like having something to eat?" Musei questioned, looking at the woman. He needed to learn more about her, since she would likely be with him for quite some time from here on out. People in the Military Police never really died, unless it was because conflict arising in the inner walls, and as a person of her newly-acquired power, the odds of her dying were slim.

ℳusei Come to me when you need a real hero. ╔═════════════════════════╗ Making his way back to the Military Police Headquarters, Musei let out a heavy sigh. Full from lunch, his plan from here on out was to make a message to send to the Captain of the Survey Corps, knowing that the man was somewhat reasonable if he could explain as to why he declined their offer. Sitting himself down at his desk that was on the second floor in a room that was fairly out of the way that most people would go, he began to write his letter.
Scrapping the first two messages and tossing them aside, he went with a more reasonable message, that would explain everything about the interaction at lunch time, whilst also telling the Captain that the next time his Lieutenant would show up, he would be disciplined accordingly, if their Captain had no intention of taking appropriate actions. Satisfied with his response, Musei signed the letter and sealed it, putting it aside to be delivered at a later point in time.

Melody Dale After Victoria ceased her taunting and left Melody to fend for herself, she was somewhat relieved. Sure she had to labor over meaningless chores, but at least no one was breathing down her delicate neck. She gathered her silver hair in her hand and let it cascade over her right shoulder. Walking back to the supplies closet, she grabbed a washed white rag and wrapped it around her face to use as a dust mask. The windows were near cleaned of dusty residue by the first hour, she even made sure to get into the cracks of the frames. God forbid, she had to back tracking and reclean all those pointless windows again. She was mopping the corridor to the bottom floor when she heard someone walking above her.
The wooden framed roof above her head contained years and years of dust particles, and every time someone strolled along on the top floor dust would fall like rain. This made Melody's task even more difficult seeing that she had mop over previous spots again! She grimaced as she shoved the matted mop head back into the soapy water. The woman had a pretty good guess as to who the culprit to her further subjected misery was, Musei. Pushing the mop bucket over to the side, and cautiously headed up stairs to confirm her suspicions.

ℳusei Come to me when you need a real hero. ╔═════════════════════════╗ Once he had finished everything he was up to, the sounds of footsteps approaching caught his attention. Looking up from his desk to listen closer, he heard the stairs making noise. Shrugging his shoulders, Musei went back to the paperwork that he had. Whoever it was that was approaching was either going to come into his office, or go somewhere else. The door was wide open, and the light that cast from the window spread down the hallway, tossing away the dark shadows in the hall.
Letting his quill write away at some more papers that were on his desk, he let out a long, disappointed sigh. This was the part of his job that he detested, but it was something that was mandatory to do; the paperwork. It was tedious, and it never seemed to end some days, but that was the job that he had to do for Humanity, for the King.

Melody Dale The perspiration complied onto the female's pale complexion as she quietly maneuvered her way up the stairs. However, the old architecture creaked and the light the illuminating from Musei's office captured her silhouette. These two problems gave away her position obviously, but the male was to lazy to get up and investigate. Melody gave up on her sneaking tactic and approached the office. She was eager to interrupt the male's private session, but unfortunately, he would probably advice her to clean his messes. Her suspicions were confirmed when she saw pieces of crumbled up paper tossed on the floor. Sighing, she saluted poorly and waited impatiently to have permission to enter.
How the hell was she suppose to finish her punishment when no one gave her peace. She had been working for over to hours now and still wasn't finished with the unthinkable labor. It was starting to becoming difficult to breath under the saturated cloth mask. She had never been demanded to do backbreaking manual labor in her life. She was surprised the male didn't order her to spit shine his brown knee high boots either.

ℳusei Come to me when you need a real hero. ╔═════════════════════════╗ As Musei heard the footsteps approach the door, he looked his head up and saw Melody, standing there and for once in a long time, giving him a proper salute. "Come in, shut the door on your way in as well." Musei ordered, not wanting anyone to hear what he was about to tell her. When she would come over, Musei would hold up the letter and look at her. "There was an incident shortly after I left you to do your job and dismissed everyone. The Lieutenant of the Scouting Corps came by and challenged all of the Military Police to a titan-kill off. I declined the challenge, as the way they came off in their letter was that of which would not benefit Humanity, and their Lieutenant was not pleased with my response, and left shortly after saying some harsh words that I will not be tolerating. I've written my reply to him and I need someone to deliver it." Musei paused, sliding the envelope forward on his desk.
"If you decide to deliver it, then I will remove half the time I've given you to cleaning duties. Although, this letter could be something other than that. It could be a message of war between our two factions, and as such, you will be the messenger, and I would love to know what they would do to you. At the same time, this could also be your papers to sign you over to the Scouting Legion, and I am simply sending you to have done away with you forever... So, you have a choice. You can open the letter and read its contents to see what is inside, or you can trust my orders and follow them blindly, like a good soldier would do..." he seemed genuine enough, looking at her standing there.
"If you open it though, there will be severe consequences." he added on, turning his head for a moment. "Regardless, you are required to deliver that message. Is that understood?"
