The purple haired girl isn't too familiar with words of praise. They felt foreign to her, probably because how she was raised. Either way she feels honored by the single word and the positive action. After reaching the ground Zuki unhooks herself to see that Jak wished to go next. She hands him the remote after he hooks himself up and mentally wishes him good luck. Quickly, the brunette is up in the air in an upright position like he should be. Zuki claps her hands together in a gentle rhythm to congratulate Jak's success. There before her the brunette hangs in midair with excellent balance. Zuki looks back at the Lieutenant to see if he was still watching, which he probably still was. Since he was most likely watching it that meant that Jak passed his test. "Congratulations," she says softly before turning to see that another trainee has joined them. Looking at Alice, Zuki approaches her. "Would you care to go next?" she asks her waiting for Jak to press the button again to lower himself. "You seem like the type of person that'll get this right away," says Zuki softly. "A-Also........domo arigato," she quickly says giving the farm girl a quick bow. ◄ ".....or am I just a waste?" ╚═☽†☾═══════════════════════════════════════════════☽†☾═╝

Zecane walked through the training ground to see how the trainees and his lieutenant are doing. Zecane passed the few trainees that were working on their balance. He then saw Zoro and Zuki and made his way over to them both. "Hello lieutenant, Miss Monroe how are the trainees doing so far?" he asked in his relaxed yet serious tone. He just finished his letter to his brother, Vince who is currently in Wall Sina on business.

Jak would smirk as he pressed the button to let himself down. as he reached the ground he would unhook the contraption from his belt and walk up to Alice giving her the remote as he says "Good luck." as he would pass her. He would then turn around a few feet away watching Alice.STRIDERSTRIDERSTRIDER

She was about to speak up saying she would go next but she saw him pass it to the blonde girl. "I'll go after her..." She balls her left hand up as well and places it behind her back while at the same time she brings her legs together and straightens her position. "T-T-Taichou!" exclaims Zuki with surprise. When she first joined the military she never imagined she would get to meet the Lieutenant and the Captain of the Scouting Legion. Let alone all in one day. Zuki begins to wonder if it's her place to answer the Captain's question but upon thinking about it another thing pops into her mind. How did he know her last name? Was she really in that much trouble, that the Captain would even hear about it, for not wearing her uniform when she was supposed to. The look on the young girl's face can easily tell that she is nervous. "The trainees are doing very well, Taichou," she blurts out still keeping her salute. ◄ {Just added another name to the quote} ".....or am I just a waste?" ╚═☽†☾═══════════════════════════════════════════════☽†☾═╝

Alice Wiess Jak passed the test with flying colors of course there was no doubt that he would. By the way his body is built, he could hold his only because he trained and disciplined himself too. Zuki approached and without warning asked her to go next, and then bowed while thanking her. This took the farm girl by surprise as her face blushed with embarrassment most because she felt like she was being treated like royalty. The girl had no royal blood coursing through her veins, but she accepted the higher ranking female's respect. "I will go next." She stated simply waiting for Jak to coming back down to earth, literally.
The brunette activated the machine to bring him down to the ground and stroll over to her, handing her the remote, and wishing her luck. The girl was thankful and returned the favor with a smile before walking over to the contraption. As she hooked herself up her smile slowly faded as seriousness and anxiety took over. Her confidence had disappeared along with with her lack of will power, still she attempted to give the training a shot. Her hand shook with fear as she placed pressure onto the button starting up the exercise gear. Once again distributing her body weight just like the girl before her, the cords holding her tightened as she was lifted into the air.
The device stopped and she hung in the effortless until her mind went haywire. Suddenly, the memories of her sister rushed into her mind as her heart raced. The whole reason her sister died was because of the 3D Maneuver gear malfunctioning. What if that was her in that situation? Once Alice started to image placing herself in that scenario, she began having a panic attack. The air around felt constricted from her lungs and the words was spin. With a few seconds, her eyes rolled back as well as her body. The remote fell out of her hands as she swayed back and forth dangling limply upside down. Alice slipped into unconsciousness as she apologized, "Mari...sorry..." Her voice trailed as well as the voice around her.

Zecane could not help but actually chuckle a bit inside, he may be Captain of the Scouting Legion but he is also only 22 years old and still amazed when soldiers salute him. "At ease." he said calmly. "Glad to hear that and why do you look nervous? Am I that scary looking?" he said as he fixed his glasses.

A large smile grows on the purple haired girl's face seeing Alice effortlessly balance in mid-air but the glorious moment of success doesn't last long for the farm girl. A look of concern replaces the praising smile as Alice suddenly, out of no where, begins to panic. Could she be afraid of heights? wonders Zuki as she destroys her salute to the Captain to run over to grab the remote that had fallen out of the blonde girl's hand. "Calm down," calls Zuki repetitively. "Everything is ok," she continues on as she stumbles to press the button on the remote to lower the girl. Suddenly, Alice flips upside down from her panicking and then her body begins to calm down as the machine begins to lower her down. Zuki hears Alice say two words before she reaches the ground. The purple haired girl moves in front of Alice to act as support as she struggle to unhook her. Once the young blonde trainee is unhooked, Zuki struggles to lay the girl gently on the ground. It's not like Alice is heavy or anything, it's just that Zuki has always lacked in strength. Zuki brings her face close to Alice's to check that she's still breathing which luckily she is. "Alice?! Alice?! It's ok, you're down now. Please wake up," says Zuki rapidly. Zuki places her ear on Alice's chest to check to see if it was possibly a heart attack which it wasn't. ◄ ".....or am I just a waste?" ╚═☽†☾═══════════════════════════════════════════════☽†☾═╝

Jak would watch as Alice begins to be lifted into the air. She seemed to have her balance but then Alice started to panic. Jak was about to go help her when he saw Zuki was already on her way. Jak would sigh as he would watch attentively as the contraption lowered Alice but then out of no where she flipped and hit her head hard or so it seemed so Jak ran over right when Zuki had just un buckled Alice and laid her down. Jak examined the girl then said "Anything I can do." as Jak waited impatiently for a reply.STRIDERSTRIDERSTRIDER

Alice Wiess Whoever voice was calling out to her Alice couldn't only here muffles. On a better note, after she was lowered, unhooked, and laid flatter on the ground her breathing was starting to regulate. The traumatizing experience with her sister would never leave her so how was she going to continue her training? She didn't want to call it quits because that would mean giving up on herself entirely. Plus she had no where to go after her crops and home were destroyed by the titans. She would have to figure out a method later, but if she stayed in this state she was never going to be able to move forward.
Luckily, no part of her body was harmed especially her head that would have made things more complicated. She didn't need a concussion on top of a panic attack. The girl was starting to regain some consciousness and finally she opened bright blue eyes. "I'm...okay..." She said obviously struggling to speak. "Just a small fainting spell...it happens occasionally." Alice lied, but it was sort of in a selfish way. She didn't want to be sent away do to a fake metically condition. "Please, let me try again." Begged the girl as she tried to lift her body only to become dizzy and fall back down.
She looked to Jak and then Zuki with a disappointed expression. Little did she know that the real captain showed up to see her pitiful performance. Some first day...

 Zecane Raz-gar Zecane watched what happened and walked over to Alice, reaching a hand out and pulling her back up gently. He looked her straight in the eyes. "There is no shame in trying again later when you are at full strength and readiness." he said. "I rather see a soldier fail now in training camp than out in the field against the titans. I give permission for you try again if you feel you can do it." he added.

Alice Wiess Alice was humiliated seeing two potential friends surrounding her and to make matters even more unbearable the captain appeared. He lingered over her as his shadow shaded her body from the sun. Strange, he didn't look like a captain considering his small statue. He gently gripped her right forearm and pulled her to her feet. She hardly weighed anything so the task shouldn't be to difficult for him. She stared into her eyes through his glasses, observing his professional expression. It was confirmed that he was a top ranking officer by the wisdom he spoke. She was given the opportunity to try once again of course, but for now she needed to take it easy.
The girl let out a sigh of relief as the captain loosened his study grip on her. It took a few moments to maintain her composure before she smiled. "Thank you, Sir." She saluted him properly before turning to her comrades. "And thank you guys for helping me."

Cole watched curiously and tried his best to stay out of the way as the others crowded around Alice, who had apparently passed out. He figured it would be best if he waited to see if she would pass to decide whether or not he would try to comfort her as well. Until then he waited for the others to finish there run through so he could give it a go.
...Then shoot and reload....

She didn't bother going to her when it happened since others went for her aid. "This must be harder than it looks…" She thought slightly worried but still determined to take the test. Zecane Raz-gar "You are welcome, Miss Wiess." Zecane nodded and stepped back to his original spot to watch the rest of the trainees. He knew all the names of the men and women in the Scouting Legion/Survey Corp as well as the trainees awaiting to choose their path in the military. In these times, Zecane knows they need numbers which they truly lack right now.
