Melisande brightened at Ethiriel's acceptance, and the Muse relaxed visibly. She'd been feeling like a poor host, and was grateful to have made a connection with the Frei. "I look forward to it. I really do. I will see what their next earliest evening is!"
She floated back a bit as Vi lurked, still grinning at Leo. His discomfort was obvious, and didn't seem to be putting Viola off in the least. "Oh, not now, of course! Later, when they meet up! No worries, we will have lots of time to pick an evening that's free for all of us."
Vi shot Pasha a smile, and the Muse shook her head, smiling ever so slightly back. The human was…what was the word? Incorrigible.
"I do love to sing. It's part of my nature, if I'm not mistaken!" It was always strange talking about her essence in front of humans. Humans were made of luck and chance and something called Genetics, which made very little sense to the Sigel, but she carried on for Eth's benefit.
"I'm also a part time Muse, when I'm not stuck here behind the counter." Vi stuck her tongue out at Pasha, which Pasha gracefully ignored. "Is your essence something you are comfortable sharing?"
There was no pressure in the Sigel's question. She'd known Raevans that leaned either way, and would never directly ask unless it was necessary. Melisande had her suspicions about Ethiriel's essence and soul….starlight perhaps? Some delicate and rare tree?…but it also would have been in poor manners to guess.

Leo’s discomfort was far from hidden, his brows knit anxiously as he swallowed hard. ”Yeah, sure.” His voice was monotonous and short.
The tea Frei offered a gentle smile, her eyes focused vaguely on Melisande’s form. ”There is no shame in my essence. I am composed of “unoxidized silver, and my soul is that of a tea plant,” she paused, lifting her chin in the slightest. ”Green tea, to be exact. Your genetic combination sounds absolutely lovely, and I wish that I could offer compliments on your appearance… but, alas.”
The photographer’s attention drifted to the Frei and Sigel, listening carefully to their conversation. Ethiriel’s elegant speech had always amazed him, even from her birth she had a silver tongue, and it never ceased to amaze him.
The two Raevens were quite the sight to see, complimenting each other’s appearances so nicely. He itched for his camera but it would have been rude, unwelcomed without invitation, so the man held back and merely watched with admiration. There was always something about Raevens and their natural beauty… though he had only met a few, he couldn’t help but watch them all with awe. Melisande was especially lovely with her flaxen hair and baby blues – she looked so angelic, ethereal. She was definitely something to see.
