Willow shook her head at his question, no..she was not alright but..there was still more to the story and she was determined to finish it. Even if it did kill her. "Please..do not fear for me..I brought this pain upon myself..let me finish." Smiling as best she could despite the threat of tears burning in her eyes..the mare drew a more calming breath..then spoke. Every story needed an ending after all. "The herd banished the mare and her foal..they were cursed..untouchables..monsters and evil to anyone who was normal. The mare slowly lost her mind..her foal had marked her on the night of his first hunt..with a bloody paw print. The herd claimed it meant she was ruined too, that she should have stopped the male from devouring flesh. Broken..defeated..she abandoned her foal..hoping the world would take his life and end the suffering. After many years of travelling she heard news of a stallion who was much like the foal she'd left behind, she travelled to find him. Determined to end his life..to end his 'suffering'. To end the curse once and for all..but, he was strong..fierce but, kind..he had young foals of his own.." Shaking Willow nuzzled against her daughters soft body..letting the first tears drop down to nourish the earth. "I am that mare. I once thought all who were different were cursed..I became bitter and let hatred consume me..but, now I am trying to repent for the past. That is why I need to find my son. To end this once and for all."
