Adriana was not sure what to think at Vixen's sigh. Wow, that's a lot of elements.... wait, blood? "Blood," she questioned. Ady had never heard of that. She shifted the books against her other arm, they were getting heavy. She thought about what else she would need and could not think of anything.

Ah. She reacted. Not the normal one but it will work I guess. She chuckled a little at her response. "Yes. Blood." Sure she should probably elaborate upon what her guardian could do. But eh, it wasn't that important. Well Vixen didn't think it was that important.

Adriana liked the sound of Vixen's chuckle and she smiled. "That is really impressive," she began, her voice sounding more interested. "I can only imagine the implications on how to control your own blood. Is that a common ability from where you are from?" It did not really matter where the girl was from, but she was curious. I hope she does not think I am rude.

Adriana wondered if all the people where Vixen was from were animal creatures. She did not ask though because she did not want her to think she was rude. Ady shifted the books again. When she looked back up at Vixen she tilted her head slightly. She seems... sad. "Do you miss your home?"

Adriana was not sure, but Vixen's laugh seemed forced. When she spoke Ady felt bad for even asking. "I had a physical home, but no one was ever there," she blurted in an attempt to make up for asking something so personal. Ady's voice was not sad, it was steady, like she was completely over having been left alone for so long. It was not uncle's fault, she thought to herself. Though she never called her uncle by his name. "I have no parents and Uncle was never there, but he had a legitimate reason." She gave Vixen a small smile.

Vixen shrugged at her comments. She felt like avoiding this subject, but knew that it has already came up. It would be difficult to make it vanish. Hearing her comment about no parents she gave a small sad smile."I have no parents either... Only a twin sister.."

Adriana never really shared her past very often but this girl looked sad when she shared. She decided not to ask questions, she did not want to press and get her upset. She was curious if the woman's sister came with her, but she had not mentioned her before. Only her guardian, which lead Ady to think that her sister had either not come with her or maybe Vixen did not really like her sister. "I do not have any siblings," she continued to share, it felt good for some reason. She tucked her hair behind her right ear with her free hand, revealing many hoop earrings.

 Quinn Rain N'Foraoise Quinn walked into the store blindly, just thankful to get out of the crowded streets. He let out a great sigh of relief, his eyes never leaving the door, watching the crowd beyond. "Whew. It's brutal ou-" He started to turn and noticed the store wasn't as empty as he had though when he first looked into it. He stumbled over words that started floating to the surface of his thoughts. "H-... Hey." He said lamely as a hand came up and scratched the back of his head, tussling his crimson hair. 'UHG... Hey... Really that's the best you could come up with? IDIOT!' He was embarrassed as all hell. He quickly shifted his eyes to the floor and walked to the counter. "Sir...." He said softly before clearing his throat a little to speak louder, this time nearly yelling, knowing that old people usually lost their hearing. "SIR. DO YOU KNOW WHERE THE ACADEMY IS AND HOW TO GET THERE? I HAVE THIS PAPER THAT I NEED TO GIVE THEM... WELL AT LEAST THAT'S WHAT I WAS TOLD. I'D BE VERY GRATEFUL FOR YOUR COOPERATION." He held up the enrollment paper like it had some magic of its own and would just lead him the right way if he held it in front of him. "ANY INFORMATION AT ALL WOULD BE HELPFUL. THANK YOU." He cleared his throat, a little sore from having his voice raised.

Adriana wanted to ask Vixen more, but she was afraid of making the girl upset. She did not seem like someone you would want to distress. A sudden voice made Ady jump. She had been so absorbed in her conversation with Vixen that she did not hear anyone else come in. She glanced around Vixen and saw a red haired boy. Before she could say 'hey' back he was staring at the floor and making his way to the counter. Adriana was not really sure what to think of him, she looked back to Vixen before jumping once more. The boy was shouting. What the... she thought as her eyes darted back to the boy. He was holding a paper in the air like it would lead him the right way. "Vixen," she said, glancing between Vixen and the boy. "If you have not found the Academy yet, I can lead you there. I will go tell the boy as well." Adriana then quietly walked up to the boy and tapped him on the left shoulder. "I know where it is," she said clearly. "I am a student there."

Vixen's attention turned to the door when she heard it open. She was about to reply but he had walked off. She arched an eyebrow wondering what was wrong with the lad. She quickly disregarded him until he started to scream. Her ears flattened and she put her hands over her sensitive ears. "Stop yelling!"It came out as a growl, something she didn't mean to do. She nodded at Adriana's response as she held her hands over her ears to cut out the ringing.

Quinn Rain N'Foraoise Quinn startled when he heard the growl mixed with speech. He turned when felt the tap, his hands going instantly to his Ulaks that rested on each side of his hip. The paper floated down to the ground slowly, having been completely forgotten by him in the commotion. "WHAT?... Oh. Sorry... I just thoug- Wait! You said you're a student there?" He looked her up and down, actually looking at her for the first time instead of just glancing. He was about to say more when he just happened to notice the girl behind her. He took a step back, bumping into the counter. "Fox spirit!... You won't trick me with your supple curves!" He narrowed his eyes at the two of them and looked back between them. He focused on the one further away. "Is this part of your trickery Fox?" He gently started to poke the girl in front of him, taking more of an interest. "I have to say she looks pretty real.... How'd you turn the illusion to flesh?" He continued to poke and prod the body, not knowing it was a real girl. "I suppose if you're a student I'll follow you to the school, but just know Fox... I won't fall for your trickery. No matter how real it looks... I have to say you did an amazing job though.. She looks so real!" He started to touch her face, pulling on her cheeks lightly.

Adriana's eyes widened at Vixen's growl-like yelling and a small fear hit her for a split second. By the time she had calmed down the boy had his hand at his hip. Her frame poised so that she could be ready to grab one of her throwing knives from her boot. She relaxed when he started speaking. "Yes and..." she was cut off by his sudden exclamation. What the heck is wrong with this one? She thought and glanced back at Vixen apologetically. Then she felt a poke. Her pupils went red and she turned back to the boy. He was grabbing at her face now. "You have three seconds to stop before my shadows tear you apart," she said threateningly. "I feel real because I am real." She smacked his hand away and took a slow step back from him, her shadow quivering. "I am sorry I startled you, but you have a lot to learn, especially about manners." She still held her books, but her arm was tense, her muscle visible through her sleeve.
