"Yes and no? My brothers were in a car accident when they were younger. One didn't have any brain activity long enough to legally be declared dead before he came back. Though I suppose that doesn't exactly count huh? But then again, living with seizures as a kid kinda does one for your mentality.." She shrugged. While the seizures never lasted long, how many times had she come back to her senses and remember nothing about the last few moments. "Perhaps not the answer you wanted but it's something. I could have given you some dull answer about how it just doesn't phase me."

Lellouch yelped- mentally cursing as she might have been a little louder then she wanted to be, when he stuck her with the needle. The blonde grimaced as she absently rubbed at her arm. "I forgot how that felt." She watched and listened as explain. "Sounds to me like you've had to work with some real douche bags. There was never a war where people didn't die. So if they are expecting everyone to be friends, with sunshine and rainbows.. well they don't know what they signed up for."

"I wouldn't mind following you around, you are quite an interesting character, but if you're not one for company I can take a hint. As for everyone else.. They can suck it as far as I'm concerned." She leaned over as far as she could with out bending her knee. "Practiced hands... You've done this before. If I hadn't just watched you, I would have thought a doctor did it. ..Thank you Bischofite." Oh look, his actual name this time.

"Don't make ze mistake of assuming what I want. What you're sinking of is somesing I expected, not wanted; I could'f expected ze answer you cited, but wanted a rebuke for soliciting ze information in ze first place. If you're going to stick around, I suggest you abandon your assumptions - zey're only going to impede you from now on." Her enemy lacked an effective unpredictability, so her assumptions would find little danger there, but should she make the mistake of assumption again - much like with the bear trap - it may just kill her. No arena well-engineered by Bischofite harbored a truly safe place to linger, not even for him.

And he quite liked it that way.

Bischofite inspected his work while he continued, peering beneath the wrapping to establish whether he missed a stitch in the bloodier portions of her injuries. "It might seem to you zat zey expect perfect cohesion like zat, which... Sounds like bullshit. However, when running a military operation, to instill cohesion among officers prevents furzer breaks in ze total body. Sink of a... Glass of water, if you will. You can balance a paperclip on ze surface, despite ze paperclip being far heavier. Insects can cross it wis'out sinking. And if you'f paid attention in early science classes, you'd realize zat cohesion between water molecules not only allows it to bar ze paperclip or ze insect from falling in, but allows it to seemingly defy natural odds - as water can climb from ze base of a litmus paper to is top when gravity plays against it.

"Perhaps you sink it's a long-winded explanation, but what I am trying to establish is ze Negaverse seeks to emulate water - if it can bolster lieutenants and zeir harmony to a point where eternal senshi cannot break srough zeir ranks, zen it is well wors' ze efforts zey employ. And my 'conditioning', if you will, is an example of how zey intend to achief' it." Bischofite stood once he sated his curiosity over her wounds. Stripping the gloves from his hand and stashing them into discarded wrappers, he continued. "But I don't like it. We are not water, we are human, and as such, capable of some feats seemingly far beyond our measure - ones zat put water's little trick up a slip of paper to wanton shame. Ze sings we can do to each ozzer..." Bischofite smiled darkly.

After tossing the needle and packaging into the biohazard trash, burying it within the middle, Bischofite returned to the injured senshi. He watched her struggle with her injuries, entirely out of curiosity. "You don't haf' to sank me. I wouldn't haf' done it were I still a general. Now - do you sink you can walk home or do I haf' to assist you?"

"Noted.. No more assumptions." She blinked, holding as still as possible as Bischofite inspected everything. "That's... a very interesting way of looking at it." She said slowly, mulling what he said over in her head. "Long-winded, no.. More like enlightening I suppose. I don't think I would have thought of it like that." Perhaps she would have to pay more attention to things that went on with the people around her.

"I probably shouldn't like that smile... but." She shrugged. Now that was a smile. "Why do I get the feeling I'm going to see that smile often if I follow you around..." Not that she was complaining. He was right after all.. The things people can and did do to each other? The list went on and on.

"Force of habit. Won't happen next time." Lellouch said, shaking her head. "Nah... I think I got this well enough. I made it here didn't I?" Though place was closer then the flat she shared with a friend. "Though, your free to watch me limp home in pain if you want."

"You're right, Lellouch." The mirth reflected in his eyes spoke of a devilish conscience. "You shouldn't like zat smile." But if she would follow him to see it, then her added help far outweighed the price of grinning like an idiot on occasion. Perhaps he could make sense of this team nonsense yet - and if that proved worthwhile, then how many of his goals might he accomplish with accumulated manpower? Perhaps enough to aim higher.

Or... lower.

"Good. It saves me ze temptation of kicking you into trash cans when you limp along too slowly. And if you're disappointed zat I don't take ze chivalrous route, as much chivalry as zere might be in watching some mutilated child hobble her way home, at least you won't show up smelling like rotten coffee grounds and putrefied chicken carcasses. It could always get worse, Lellouch, and worse is more fun." And worse entailed less control - so how far down could he take this girl before she took wing without him? He wanted to know. How much pressure, how much pain could Lellouch sustain until loyalty was cast away in favor of mutiny?

Lacing his fingers together, Bischofite gave a slow nod. His gaze cooled, offering little more than stoic scrutiny now as it had before. "If you're going to follow me around, I'll haf' to test you - but I cannot accomplish zat as I am now. When I am returned to my rightful rank, perhaps, we can arrange somesing fitting. Until zen, don't get yourself killed quite yet. If you know how to use your communicator, you can call me and expect to come so long as I am a lieutenant. And afterward? I might, if it suits me."

Broken glass ground into the floor as he crossed atop it, pausing only once on the threshold. "Tschüß, Lellouch." After rapping his nails atop the frame, Bischofite left the scene altogether and began the slow journey toward his residence.
