For those who were not aura-blind, a rather sudden emergence of two energies arose. It seemed as if whoever was there had decided to not power up immediately.
There was a subtle jingling noise that soon enough approached. "...you know... we could sense you on the other side of the park, silly!"
A small round cat seemed to be trotting forward, glancing back to the other figures approaching. "Come on you two! Let's get this show on the road!" With a subtle giggle, she soon enough was winding herself about the Captain's ankles.
He had food, it was necessary to obtain some!
"...seriously... this just confirms why I hate cats..." groaned a gruff voice as she glanced over to her teammate. Iris only carted one of the two cat carriers, but the whole issue of taking care of them still lingered in her mind.
With a half wave towards the captain and the obvious energy leak, a quieter murmur was directed to the purple clad senshi.
"...you ready fer this sh*t?"

The details of the situation were still unclear, but Irene was too thrilled to care. This was her first opportunity to witness a purification, and she was totally psyched. First, that someone had the good sense to realize that there were better options out there. Second, that she would get to see how it worked firsthand, something she'd missed out on with Psyche. And third, that Iris trusted her enough to recruit her for this particular mission.
Would Iris still trust her, if she knew what Irene had been doing on her own? Probably not, but that was a matter to be dealt with another time.
She hefted the cat carrier in her arms, its weight making her wobble a little. While she had mostly mastered walking in heels, it was still easy enough to throw her off balance. Once they were closer, she carefully set the carrier down and flexed her fingers, which were throbbing. That thing was heavier than it looked. And if she had trouble with the carrier, how would she ever manage what she was supposed to carry afterwards?
Despite this concern, she looked at Iris and nodded. "I'm ready when you are." Then, her attention was all on the others. One of the strangest cats she had ever seen, and an agent of the Negaverse. Irene assumed they were there for him, but there was no way to be certain. Maybe it was a set-up, or they were really there for the cat. All she could do was wait, and watch.

Zia thought this was nice.
Zia thought they were having a moment.
Zia had meant the quip about petting her to be an inappropriate joke and not for him to actually grab her ears.
The result was the mauvian girl flailing and smashing a palm against his face as she tried to get away. "******** you! Stop that!" She screeched before her flailing motions morphed into a serious attempt to punch the captain in the face.
Her own face was practically red from embarrassment and indignant outrage when she managed to take note of *********, than Iris and Purple with the cat carriers.
"Yeah go ahead and fry his brain already," She muttered, edging away on the bench with a humiliated scowl.

"You started it!" Realgar accused, throwing up his arms to try and protect his face, and, as surprising as that might have been to some... actually laughing, even if it was sort of short lived, and followed by embarrassed coughs and an attempt to not look like an idiot who just got caught doing something he shouldn't have.
It... was sort of a moment. Just maybe not the moment she'd been scripting in her head.
"Sorry." He muttered, with an embarrassed, sheepish tone that wouldn't have indicated, had it not been otherwise clear, that he was older and...theoretically more mature than some of the others here.
He did his best to hide the fact he was a bit red in the face as well by reaching to give ********* a pat, since she was acting invitingly cat like herself and added. "Help yourself, food in the bag." He offered, though ********* was probably already aware of the food.
"....Ready as I'm going to be. I'm here, aren't I?"

Iris' lips easily formed a scowl as she saw a familiar set of lilac hair, though the scowl didn't linger long as the red color touching the b*tch's cheeks.
"...seriously... so how long you plan on running about as a beacon to all th'youma? Either turn into a cat or turn back to yer normal b*tchy self..."
Firmly the eternal senshi set the cat carrier down next to the Captain. He glanced down at the bag before adding "...yer gonna make th'cat fat... er..."
With a pitiful mew, the Mauvian retaliated "...but I need a snack for watching!"
"...you don't..."
The cat was already trying to crawl into the bag. "...just a lil' nibble..."
Iris wasn't going to take crap from a Mauvian. With one hand she scooped up the little furball, then thrust her at Irene.
"...hold this..."
"...I'm not a 'this'..."
With a groan, the eternal senshi attempted introductions.
"...Realgar... Irene... *********... B*tch-face..."

If Irene had to choose someone to fight beside, Iris would always be that choice. Her captain was strong, reliable, and often made good decisions. But if she had to choose someone to represent senshi as a group, Iris would be waaaaaaaay down at the bottom of the list. Her language was crude and inappropriate, and her manners much the same. Nobody could be good at everything, she supposed.
Which meant it was her job to try to smooth things over. Not that anyone had asked her to do such a thing. For all she knew, this was normal. But she could not allow someone to think that all senshi were like this. She curtsied, which was a little trickier than usual with her arms full of cat, but she managed. "Under the circumstances, I can honestly say that it is a pleasure to meet you, Mister Realgar. And, ah, friend." Because there was no way in hell that Irene was going to use Iris' nickname for the other cat.
"Not all of us are as brusque as Iris is, I assure you." That was less-than-subtle code for 'please don't be offended by the crazy senshi lady.' The last thing they needed was for things to go south at this stage. "Despite her manner, she's quite capable. You couldn't be in better hands."

Zia had smoothed out her skirt and crossed her arms, nose in the air as she tried to ignore how rude that had been, especially with the additional annoyance of Sasquatch and Purple.
Well that wasn't really fair, she didn't know Purple that well and she seemed polite enough. But still, she was reeling from the rage and embarrassment of having her ears grabbed. It was not an offense to be taken lightly.
"Should I be concerned, Grabby Hands? I couldn't make you grope at me like that when you thought I was human," She snarked in a deliberate attempt to be embarrassing and inappropriate.
She shifted her shoulders and her hips and crossed one leg over the other as she tried to regain her composure. "My name is Zee. Unfortunately Bigfoot has some pronunciation problems," She evenly informed Irene and checked her nails, showing a blatant lack of concern for everyone else's anxiety over the energy beacon. "Hurry up and zap him and I will power right back down."
She was going to stay stubborn.

"We had this conversation: first you had an a*****e ex punching holes in the wall, then I kinda figured you were dating Luxor..." He figured he'd do the guy credit of referring to him by his first name at least once, tone slightly offended, definitely defensive, though it softened a moment later. Not the note he wanted to go out on, if he forgot this part.
"I was just trying to goof around and get you to laugh. Sorry."
He sighed, folding and unfolding his arms anxiously. Camelot didn't seem to be prepared to show up, but after being forgotten by the agent he'd just purified (Mariposite) maybe it was to be expected that TinMan take a hiatus.

Iris' brow furrowed as Zirconia made her stance on the ordeal evident. Irene had the manners of a saint, but the eternal senshi knew better than to pamper the b*tch for being a brat.
"...I ain't doin' jacksh*t right now... you've already compromised our position..." her voice growled out as she stepped forward to the reluctant guardian's place on the bench.
"...Iris... are you sure this is..."
Gold eyes shot to her guardian. "No *********! Don't you dare defend her!! We were on the opposite side of the park and we walked 'ere after she lit up the area! Youma, Negaverse officers...whoever th'f*ck wanted to rush'ere and attack us now... well, they could! An ambush isn't out of the question!"
There was a silence from the manx, who merely shifted in Irene's arms. No easy response was coming, and it was likely it wouldn't find a way to the cat's mouth anytime soon.
Iris' eyes soon enough focused on Zia again. "This ain't 'bout you showin' off or whatever tha' hell ya think yer doin'! This is 'bout makin' sure that he ain't killed... that he stays SAFE! Stop bein' a selfish b*tch and stop compromisin' all of this..." She waved a hand around the vicinity in general, seeming to sweep in Realgar's direction before that hand tightened up into a fist and soon enough was swinging towards Zia's cheek.

This was not why he'd asked Zia to come along. Granted he hadn't exactly been able to plan to find out that she was also Zirconia, but... much as he hated to admit it... Iris was the one in the right. Not that he was too sure about the punching bit.
"Hey!" he reached out to try and intercept the punch before it landed, to brush it aside or intercept it. "Zee, she's right." She wasn't going to like hearing it, but then, while he wasn't in the mood to see her get punched, he also wasn't in the mood to handle her fragile heart with care. "For the one who got on my damn case, you're sure drawing a lot of attention. Can we shape this bullshit up?"
What were the options anyway? He could leave... he guessed... but he wasn't sure if Iris would give him a chance to reschedule, and things weren't happening as long as they were fighting. He could tell Zee to leave, but if he forgot about her, even only partially...

Zia had been turned away in her seat with her chin in her hand and scowling at the overall situation, and her inability to get past it without sacrificing something she had been looking forward to for a while.
In the end, she couldn't get past her hang up to go full cat in front of Realgar and while it was slightly delayed by her flinching from nearly being punched, she was eventually replaced by a civilian with no energy leak.
She didn't say anything or move, however.

Her fist connected with something, but it wasn't the cheek meat she was aiming for. A hand had caught her own. If she was more adamant about beating Zia senseless, she might have fought more, probably causing the hand to tremble as she pushed forward. However, now probably wasn't the time to pursue a true beat-down. Especially after the energy beacon completely vanished. With a faint nod, she pulled her hand back. "...thank you..." was offered in an even tone before she turned back to the cat carriers. The blonde began to fuss with getting both the handles for the carriers at hand, but she then explained further. "...let's move this party over to th'other side of the park... I'll take care of this baggage... " Said baggage was mewing at the moment. "Once we are there... then I'll... I believe ya used th'term 'zap' him..."

Well, that was awkward. Irene watched, too torn to try making any moves of her own. On the one hand, Iris was showing her usual lack of delicacy, and offending people probably wasn't the right way to start the proceedings. On the other, she happened to be right. If someone else sensed that energy and came to investigate, it would put all of them in jeopardy. Especially the one that they were supposed to be there to help.
She let out a sigh of relief as the cat-lady changed into- huh. That was an interesting trick. More interesting still was the fact that she remembered seeing this woman before, at one of Maia's training sessions. Now, she supposed, she knew why. If not how this sort of thing worked. It was something she would have to ask, at a time when everyone wasn't so riled up.
The easiest way to ease tensions was to make sure everything went smoothly. She flashed a smile at Realgar and his friend- Zee, that was how she'd introduced herself. "The sooner we finish this, the better for everyone, right?" Since Iris was taking both of the carriers, Irene kept holding onto *********, absently scratching the cat behind her ears as she followed her captain.

"Yeah... let's... get this thing going." He was determined not to get cold feet now, not in the middle of things, though he tilted his head to peer at the carriers and check on the irritated occupants.
"How are the hair-monsters? Mac eat any of your relatives or anything?" he asked, trying to make a joke. Things already felt awkward and uncomfortable, on top of the nerves he already had about the whole thing, and he was pretty sure Zia was going to be steamed when she finished being down.
He vaguely waved a hand, indicating to Zia that she could come along if she wanted. Zia was Zirconia... still a lot to process, but the least of their worries right now, he guessed.

Iris rather noticeably snorted when the Captain asked about how furry beasts. Everyone was moving along, but she wasn't really the sort to comment on cats, because she just didn't like them. Someone else was more than willing to fill in the gaps on that conversation though, since it was a far more welcome topic than the previous one.
"Mac kept getting annoyed that I kept trying to eat the food too. I was giving him a run for the money compared to the other two. He didn't seem to like that much!" With a light giggle, the Mauvian seemed to hit up the real heart of the matter.
"Your cats are fine though... a bit annoyed at the relocation, but no worse for wear.""...that cat was a fat a**..." was the less than enthusiastic response from the senshi. She could only be grateful that Realgar's cats didn't have the same abilities as Mauvians, or her father would have blown a fuse trying to process how all the food in the house vanished. "IRIS!" the manx scolded from Irene's arms."...it's true... he put you to shame." That was a statement in itself. Ryuthulhu DS and Carneli passed this round... HAVE AT IT REALGAR <3
