"Pretty much just starting out, I have met nuawahn and an alkidike, I have come back to show my parents Iniu. They live just over there, you look hungry and chilled, would you like some food and some rest? My parents are really very sweet."

"Radaku come a close second to sailscales," He grinned at Iniu who puffed up, seeming to think she was being discussed. "I can't wait to see one, but Jahaur is such a long walk. As you can see I haven't gotten very far."

"I don't think you would be a burden, I'm sure if I turn around right now both of my parents would be jostling each other for space at the window, giggling to themselves." He gave a flat look and spun around to see both of his parents grinning and waving happily. "See."

'I do hope to make a trip to Jahaur soon I want to see a Radaku right away. Iniu dear Mom probably has some meat scraps," He gently tugged her little claws out of Yelena's clothes. "Sorry about that, she is very cuddly."

"Well if its all the same to you, you are quite welcome in my home. And it seems Iniu is along with me, inviting you to dinner." He took a little step towards his house and Iniu wrapped her tail tighter around him. "If you wish to go I understand, she may not." He smiled at Yelena.

His mother stuck his head out the door. "Your welcome with us Ms. looks like the sailscale has decided for you!"

"Mom!" Kiyelt chastised. 'What were you two doing peeking?"

His mother just grinned at him, with his own smile and beckoned them with hand gestures, he could here his father laughing in the background.

"Come on they won't bite, they might be some of the only ice that don't bite." Kiyelt walked forward slowly so as not to stretch his silly sailscale.

His mother piped up again, "Your not imposing dear, don't be rediculous." she smiled again and turned around to poke her husband and giggle at whatever he had just said about Kiyelt. His father spoke next, "We have lots of food no need to worry."

His eyes got big as saucers when she took his hand. Her hand felt so wonderful in his. He could not wipe the grin off his face as they walked in, his mother giving him a knowing look and his father whispering, "Way to not blow it kid."

His mother made a spot for her and one for him not to far away. Now that Iniu had gotten Yelena in the house she abandoned her death grip on Kiylet and curled around Yelena properly in thanks.

"Yelena this is Neva, my mother and Ilyet my father. They liked wandering in their youth and have been all over Tendaji."

"Its a pleasure to meet you Yelena, tell me what is your mix? It looks most interesting. I might have pursued a shifter husband if Ilyet hadn't adamantly swept me off my feet so fast." She teased her mate.

Ilyet gave her a fake flat look belied by his smile. He looked a lot like his son but much older.

He hoped he hadn't completely scared her. He worried a bit over that, you know, underneath all the glee. He watched as Iniu ignored his parents almost and tucked her head under Yelena's hair for a nap. Well if it please her highness, he thought. Silly lizard. In sleep Iniu loosened a bit and looked more like a big pink rope.

Neva grasped Yelena's free hand and started to chatter lightly with her. "I once knew a shifter alikidike named Alnava. She was a fantastic healer and made, in my personal opinion, the best tea!"

Iylet pulled her away from Kiyelt for a moment and twirled her around in a mini dance with proper distance between them. "Ahh quick feet, gonna be a swordswoman lass?"

"Ilyet, watch your feet! Don't step on the poor girl!."

Kiyelt giggled a little as he saw that his father's feet had not moved at all. Clever man. Meaning his Mom was once again teasing his father. He rolled his eyes at her and she winked at him. No one was as full of spunk as his parents.

Ilyet placed her hand back in Kiyelts and went to accost his mother for her termitity which sent her fleeing, giggly from the kitchen.

"I'm sorry, they forgot to ever come back from their honeymoon. Cookie?" He asked her and offered her the plate of them that his mother had evidently just pulled out before she and her husband had discovered the pair outside.

"A beastmaster huh! A girl after my own heart. Ilyet put an obscenely large hand over the left side of his chest, and laughed as his wife mock beat on him. Their laughter drifted through the house like bright sunshine.

"They are nice, a little unconventional...okay a lot," he smiled at their antics. "I'm fortunate enough to have two bright, energetic parents who think outside the box, my friends however have parents who haven't seen outside that box since it was built a few hundred generations ago." He snorted, "Traveling, and not very far mind you, is convincing me my parents have the right of it. Life is too short to go around fussing over every little thing." He took a bite out of one of the cookies, they were sublime. He mom never failed to delight the senses. "I want to be a beastmaster like my mother, Dad is a Massif, thats why he is so ..huge. Well that and Mom's cookies. He's rather fond of them, and pestering her while shes making them. Stealing dough, her oven mitts, and finally the cookies themselves, if he doesn't succeed with all her dough. Drives her crazy."

"I can just imagine what it has been like for you, you are so brave, I wouldn't be able to walk around my own people if they insulted me so often. My mother's alkidike friend refuses to visit here. I know mom misses her."

His father walked by the door, yawning while his wife was dragged past attatched to his leg, trying to n** him into submission.

"Yup thats one thing this family has...persistance." Then he couldn't help it anymore. He laughed at his crazy parents. His mother gave a delighted growl from the living room her quarry having given up and sat on the couch.
