Figures. He thought to himself. "I'll stop at the corner and watch." That way he didn't totally know which house was her. He wouldn't learn anything about her. It was easier this way. ..Or atleast that was the excuse he was telling himself anyway.

When Aludra grabbed his hand he lurched, jerking away from her in surprise. "Sorry... Just.." He couldn't handle touching right now. Not after all that had just happened. "Um... Yeah. Okay." Maybe she wasn't the only one who wouldn't listen.

When he jerked away, she flinched back as well, holding her hand as if burnt. I'm sorry, she wanted to say in return but she held the words back and just shook her head.

"Goodbye then."

Aludra gave one last, hesitant smile and walked away, refusing to look back.
