Having extra money would be good, he might be able to branch out find find something he likes to do without his father bearing down on him and telling him its stupid and to get back to his studies. He sighed, he need to stop thinking of his father so much. "Eevee is that one with the large amount of evolutions isn't it? Seems like a good pokemon for a breeder." He wasn't going to ask how Xander obtained his pokemon, chances are they were less than legal and eevees were hard to find or so he had heard.

"Special coats?" Jack asked. "That sound like an amazing stroke of luck to get two special pokemon, but being a breeder you must aim for best right?" He wonder what Xander had meant by special coats, he had heard that there were pokemon with unusual ones that were dubbed shiny but also one that seemed to have really weird colors for their species. He paused for a moment thinking about Xanders Question. "Not really, I tried not to think of it much as i didn't think I'd ever be able to get one." There seemed to be so many pokemon, it seemed like new one were pooping up all the time he wasn't sure how anyone could keep track of them all.

Jack nodded, he would think about, it was all ways good to expand your team wasn't it? His eyes widened as Xander released his pokemon. "Amazing." The eevee was stunning, Kotetsu was special indeed. "My I pet him?"

Jack bent down and held out his hand to let the eevee sniff it. Turning his head up to Xander he spoke "Must have been a good friend." He doubted people would just gift a beauty like him to just anyone. Once he finished speaking he slowly moved his hand towards the eevee and started to gently pet it. A smile formed on his face as he felt the soft fur of the pokemon under his hand.

Jack continue to the eevee as it seemed to enjoy his petting quite a it. "Are they a breeder to?" he asked curiously, he didn't have many friends, and while he hoped to make some here he was interested in friendships that others had. He hoped the question wasn't to persona.

Jack smiled as he pet the eevee, happy that it enjoyed it and that it seemed so gentle. Most of his fathers Pokemon did not separate work time from off duty time and were always on edge, it had made him nervous that they might attack him. "Sounds like a very good friend, I hope I can get a friend like that someday."

Jack gave Kotetsu one last pet and stood up. A small smile on his face, Xander was right, soon hopefully he'd have friends. "Yeah." They shouldn't keep the fitters waiting.

Jack quietly followed Xander up the steps, he was suppressed at how easily the eevee manged the jump and how Xander manged to keep moving with the sudden weight. He nodded as Xander explained that he needed to learn the layout as part of his training. It was habit and it took a moment for jack to realize that being behind Xander meant that the other couldn't see it. He wasn't exactly sure what he should say. All right? Okay? Sure? He sighed softly, he was so used to not talking that it was weird being expected to. at least it seemed like Xander expected it. "Okay." He said it seemed like the most likely option for things to say.
